I’m also someone who naturally spends a lot of time outdoors, so I love having little adventures with my animal companions walks, fresh air, exploring, sunbathing, or just sitting outside together and watching the world go by. And my definition of a “pet” has never been limited to cats and dogs. I’ve cared for animals of all different personalities, sizes, ages, and species, including exotic pets. I find their little quirks fascinating and enjoy giving each animal the kind of care that makes sense for them. If your baby happens to enjoy a bubble bath, treats, an afternoon adventure, or an unreasonable amount of affection… well, they may have just found their favorite babysitter. I’ve jokingly been called the female version of Dr. Dolittle. I’ll take it. Really, I think animals simply know when someone genuinely enjoys being around them. Lily and Jason have been walking my corgi, Finley, since March, four days a week, and I truly don’t know what I would do without them. They have been incredibly reliable, caring, and flexible.
