About: Hi! I’m Elise and I’ve been a pet owner for over 15 years 🐈‍⬛🐕🐠 I currently have two cats — Archie is super friendly and playful with seemingly unlimited energy, and Jenny is his calmer, older sister who is a huge love bug for people. Jenny was unfortunately born with a rare spinal condition which left her suddenly paralyzed in 2025. After surgery, she made an amazing recovery and has regained almost 100% of her mobility, however, she still struggles with urinary and fecal incontinence. I have since become very experienced with caring for special needs cats, and am comfortable administering medication, expressing a cat’s bladder, and performing mobility exercises. 🐕🐾 Growing up, I had two Pekingese sisters who were the absolutes little lights of my family’s lives. One of them unfortunately suffered from seizures — of which I diligently monitored and tracked. Eventually I became very experienced with recognizing the signs that she was about to seize and knew the best course of action to prevent her from accidentally injuring herself. Despite the seizures she and her sister lived long happy lives until they sadly passed in 2024. 🐈🐾 Once a week, I enjoy volunteering with the Girls of Dogs and Cats Rescue at my local Petsmart. A regular shift consists of sanitizing enclosures, cleaning litter boxes, refilling food and water bowls, and of course spending time with adoptable cats — giving them attention and playtime until they’ve found their fur-ever home! We typically have anywhere from 3-8 cats at a time so I’m very comfortable dealing with a high-energy, furry and chaotic situation! 🐠🌿 In addition to cats and dogs, I’m also a huge fish lover! I have had multiple aquariums and am very experienced in fish care. If you have any tanks yourself I can gladly check in on them and feed, administer medication, or do a water change if needed. 🙇🏻‍♀️🧋 I’m currently working part-time so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your furry friend(s)! I am unavailable all day on Mondays and before 4pm on Thursdays and Fridays, but feel free to ask me directly if I am available for a certain time or date as my schedule is pretty flexible. 🏡🐾 A typical day in my home is relaxed and slow paced 😴 I love sleeping in with my cats and cozying up next to my fish tanks with a sweet treat — you can absolutely expect the same level of patience and affection when it comes to me caring for your furry friend. 🏡🐾 During a drop-in visit or walk, you can expect me to follow any and all instructions you provide for me as I care for you furry family! About: I have worked with all kinds of animals for over 6 years. From small animals (I have two rabbits!) to dogs, to reptiles, I have done it all! I grew up in an animal loving family and have had the opportunity to take care of many different kinds of animals. I am a college student with a lot of availability! I prefer early morning/afternoon/evening drop-ins or weekend sitting. But even if it’s a different time, I should be able to make it work! I do not care for pets in my home. I specialize in large breeds (but equally love small breeds) and am familiar with the amount of energy and care that they require. I also offer dog running, in addition to dog walking.
