About: I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life. Growing up on my grandparents' farm, I developed a deep love and understanding for animals of all kinds. Over the years, I've also cared for two of the most unique dog breeds— a Chihuahua named AJ and a Chinese Shar-Pei named Roxie—both known for their distinct personalities. Additionally, I’ve had the pleasure of dog-sitting for two friends here in the Bay Area: a Golden Doodle named Riley and a Lab-Boxer mix named Uno. I truly enjoyed these experiences, which gave me the confidence to expand my pet care services through Rover. With plenty of patience and a genuine affection for animals, I’ll treat your pet like my own and ensure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I work from home and have a flexible schedule, operating on East Coast hours. This allows me to be available most afternoons, evenings, and early mornings on days when I don't have meetings. I’ll keep my schedule updated weekly to avoid double bookings. In my downtime, I love getting outside for walks— and I’d be thrilled to have the company of a new furry friend! As a dedicated and loving pet caregiver, I treat every pet as if they were my own. When caring for your pet in the comfort of your home, my priority is to create a familiar, safe, and comfortable environment. I follow your pet's routine to ensure they feel secure, whether it’s feeding, walking, playtime, or snuggles. I am attentive to your pet's needs and always keep them engaged and happy while respecting your home and boundaries. You can trust that your pet will receive the same care, affection, and attention that I would give to my own animals.

About: As a pet caregiver for over a decade, you can be sure that your best friend is in safe care. I grew up with dogs and started providing pet care professionally in 2015. In addition to taking care of only-child canines, I offer services to multi-dog and multi-species households. I have experience caring for cats, rabbits, birds, and reptiles. What you can expect from me as a sitter: - Loving companionship for your animal and clear communication with you. - Daily photo/video updates! - Meals, walks, play, and medications administered according to your dog’s regular schedule. My goal is to make sure your dog feels completely comfortable and cared for while their family is away. Our canine companions are such important parts of our lives, so it is vital that your sitter/walker is as passionate about the health and happiness of your best friend as you are. Can't wait to meet you and your dog, and forge a relationship centered around the wellbeing of your beloved companion! I am self employed as an artist, so my schedule is flexible and can be adjusted to accommodate your animal’s needs. I am available for overnight sitting and daytime check-ins and walks any day of the week with a few days advanced notice. I care for clients’ dogs in their homes according to my clients’ instructions, which we’ll go over during our meet and greet. I’d love to know ahead of time if your dog has any special talents like escape artistry, opening trash cans, or jumping onto the kitchen counter and scarfing down an entire loaf of bread in under 10 seconds (real story). Please also share if there are off-limits areas for your dog, either inside or outside your home.

“Kathy did a fantastic job looking after my very cute but very needy kitty. I will be having Kathy back in the future anytime I’m out of town and Millie needs care!”

About: Dog has always been a big part of my life. I have experiences in potty training, dog walking (small and big), and I love teaching them to do tricks! I'm currently free most of my weekdays as I'm still looking for full-time job. I would like to spend time with some furry friends in between my job search schedule. I would mostly do the same routine as the owner would do when they're home. I will feed them based on their schedule, teaching some tricks, and give them some nap time.

“Jessica is wonderful! She sends great photos with the Rover card. To my surprise, I received a photo of my normally shy, skittish cat cuddling up in her lap - it made me so happy! Will certainly rebook. Great communication & I can tell that my cats are well taken care of when I’m away.”

About: Growing up in a dog-loving household, I developed a deep connection with canines from an early age. My proudest experience was raising my own corgi from puppyhood, learning all aspects of responsible pet ownership. This hands-on experience taught me everything from training and grooming to understanding unique breed characteristics. Combined with helping care for my parents' dogs, I've developed a comprehensive understanding of dog behavior, daily care routines, and the importance of consistent, loving attention. As a student with a flexible schedule, I'm available consistently on weekends and most weekday afternoons. I carefully plan my pet care commitments around my classes to ensure dedicated, unrushed time with each pet. I can provide morning walks, midday check-ins, and extended playtime sessions, always prioritizing the pets' routines and needs. I prioritize creating a safe and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. When visiting clients' homes, I follow their specific care instructions meticulously and maintain regular updates through photos and messages. I ensure all doors are secured, maintain a clean environment, and keep pets on their regular feeding and exercise schedules. I also have pet first-aid knowledge for added peace of mind.

About: I have been a pet owner and caretaker of many different animals from small pets (hamsters, guinea pigs, and rabbits) to cats and dogs. My family kept fish when I was a small child, but I plunged headfirst into the world of freshwater fishkeeping in 2020 with my first personal betta fish named Prosciutto. Since then, I’ve cared for many different fish, aquatic snails, shrimp, crabs, and live aquatic plants! Currently, I have 4 fish tanks that provide flourishing ecosystems for all kinds of aquatic beings and a gray and white cat named Ash! I have sat for my neighbors, friends, and other folks that have found me through word of mouth. I would say that my loving personality, attention to detail, reliability, and diverse experience of taking care of all kinds of pets set me apart from other sitters. ***To be transparent, I can be anxious around reptiles, bugs, and arachnids. I do not have much experience taking care of them. :( I’m currently working very part-time and in the process of job searching. My schedule is very flexible. I am typically unavailable on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 4:00–7:00pm. I will be unable to board any pets as I have a roommate. Whether I’m stopping by for a quick potty break or staying overnight, I prioritize safety, trust, and gentle, attentive care in your pet’s familiar environment. I specialize in caring for calm, low- to moderate-energy pets—including seniors, anxious animals, and those who need medication or extra TLC. While I love dogs of all sizes, I may not be the best fit for very high-energy or large-breed dogs who need intensive physical activity. My strength lies in creating a calm, comforting environment where pets can feel secure, understood, and loved. I’ll always treat your home with respect and care, and I enjoy keeping pet parents in the loop with regular updates and sweet photos while you're away. Thank you for considering me!

About: Hi Paw-rents! Thanks so much for stopping by! I know how personal it is to choose someone to care for your beloved pet—and I don’t take that responsibility lightly. My goal is simple: to make sure your furry family member feels safe, relaxed, and loved while you’re away, and that you feel completely at ease knowing they’re in great hands. I bring a calm, grounded presence to pet care, shaped by my background in social work and trauma-informed support. I understand how to meet each pet exactly where they are—whether they’re shy, high-energy, older, or need a little extra patience. I move at their pace, tune into their cues, and make sure they feel secure every step of the way. In my free time you’ll find me outdoors hiking, exploring national parks, or walking my sweet dog Zuri and exploring dog heaven at Fort Funston Beach. Zuri is incredibly gentle, and we love hosting dog friends at our peaceful, pet-friendly home. You can count on me for: Thoughtful, loving, and responsible care Clear, consistent communication A calm, structured environment your pet can settle into If you're looking for someone dependable, compassionate, and genuinely invested in your pet’s well-being—I’d love to connect. Can’t wait to meet you and your furry family! I'm currently working part-time, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility to give your pet the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding, daycare, and drop-ins—mornings and afternoons or evenings Wednesday through Sunday. Whether your pup needs a playful day or a cozy overnight stay, I’ve got you covered! A Typical Day with Me I love spending time outdoors, so your pup and I will enjoy walks exploring the neighborhood and sniffing new scents. With your approval, I’ll offer healthy treats to keep things fun. We might visit the dog park for some social time, then relax with sunbathing or quiet rest. At home, your dog can play with my gentle pup Zuri—or I’m happy to keep them separate if needed. Since I work part-time, I have plenty of time to be fully present and give your pet all the love and attention they deserve. I truly enjoy building bonds with every dog I care for—it’s one of my favorite parts of this work!

About: I’ve dog sat for friends and family in the past 2 years and I’ve loved the experience. Happy to provide references and chat more about my experience. My best friend lives on my floor and we take walks with his dog every morning and evening so it’s very well incorporated in my schedule I make my place conducive for pets since I have one visit often. About: Everyone thinks they have the best dog in the world, and everyone is right! Undergrad student, animal lover, photographer and creative. (I can take the most beautiful portraits of your love!) I’ve grown up with a Doberman, Dachschund, Shih Tzu and currently stay with my baby German Shepherd, Teddy. When I’m out, I love to hike, run, or simply mindfully walk - and there’s no harm doing all of that with a buddy.

One time, she was the one who noticed the hygromas on one of dogs elbows, and brought it to our attention to get medical care for him.
