About: I had dogs since my teens years - since I was 14 years old. I currently have a yorkie. She is 8 years old. I love dogs of every kind and getting along very good with them. Looking forward to take care of your loved ones! Currently I work from home, and my schedule is flexible, so I am very flexible to walk or visit dogs almost at any time. Even if my calendar shows as full - send me a message, we might work it out :) Every dog is unique ♥️🐩🦮🐕🐕🦺🐶Everyone has own personality, habits, likes and dislikes. I always follow the owner’s feeding and caring instructions and try to reproduce the same atmosphere as a pet owner. Please let me know of any dog’s allergies or any triggers, so I can provide to the dogs the best care possible.

About: Hi my name is Mimi.💗We build such strong bonds with our fur friends 🐶 and fur babies that's why it is difficult leaving them home for a day when we need to go to work. Trust me I get it! and I know you feel the same because you are here and you want someone who can care for your animals as if it is their own, and I am your gal. In Colorado, my husband and I were small-town pet sitters. We enjoyed caring for the neighborhood's pets of all kinds and helping their owners feel secure knowing that their pets would be well taken care of. I have experience fostering animals and raising my Siberian puppy, and I have gained so much insight into animal behavior. Siberian Huskies are known for being stubborn, but we have built such a loving connection with our Husky that you wouldn’t believe how sweet and much he responds to us. I take care of my fur baby by understanding what his needs are based on his breed, personality, and what he tells me through his behaviors. This is so important because our companions has needs too! As a pet sitter, I want to give your pet lots of love, we could go out to nature trails and help them manage their separation anxiety by building trust and comfort and following their daily routines. I understand that each of our companions is different and it takes nurturing their needs so that they may live fruitful, healthy lives like us and that’s where I come in. I'm very patient and have a knack for understanding all walks of life which I consider to be my greatest strength! I would be honored to care for your pups. Currently, I am also a Graduate Student attending Texas State University for Recreational Therapy. My goal as a recreational therapist is to combine my creativity to help others heal! When I complete my grad program, I plan to educate others on the benefits of animal-assisted therapy. Our pup Po Bear has brought so much joy and comfort into our lives, so we love what we do. Please reach out if you have any questions, and I can't wait to connect. I am currently a grad student so I have a flexible schedule. Pet care is the perfect opportunity to fit exercise, my love for animals and my need for the outdoors into my routine. I like to build trust through play, learn their breed and behaviors, motivators, and create fun activities. I am very careful with understanding as much as I can to accommodate their needs to make them feel safe, comfortable, and taken care of whether it is modifications in my home. I will also make healthy dog friendly organic snacks!

“Hey everyone, Denise is the pet sitter you want for your pet babies! My dog Daisy was so excited to go to her home each day. About: I’d set myself apart by focusing on personalized care and attention. Here’s what would make me stand out: Reliable & Attentive: I’d follow each pet’s routine closely to keep them comfortable. Experience with Different Needs: Whether it’s energetic puppies needing training reinforcement or senior dogs requiring extra care, I’d tailor my approach. Enrichment & Play: I wouldn’t just watch pets—I’d engage them with games, walks, and mental stimulation. Strong Communication: Regular updates, photos, and check-ins so owners feel at ease. Calm & Patient Approach: Especially helpful for anxious or rescue pets. Basic Training Reinforcement: If the owner is working on commands or house manners, I’d help maintain consistency. While going to school full time, I have opening hours pretty much all day. It aligns with my schedule at anytime of the day, while I am going to school. My approach is depending on whether I’m caring for pets in my home or a client’s home. In My Home Provide a safe, pet-friendly environment with space to play and rest. Follow feeding schedules and dietary needs. Daily walks, playtime, and enrichment activities. Supervise interactions with other pets (if any). Maintain a clean and comfortable space for them. In a Client’s Home Follow the owner’s routine to keep the pet comfortable. Feed, water, and administer any necessary medication. Take dogs for walks and provide playtime. Clean up after them (litter boxes, accidents, etc.). Provide companionship to reduce stress from their owner’s absence. Send updates and pictures to the owner.

San Marcos dog parents share their Rover experiences
Hallie is lovely and I would definitely hire her again. She came on very short notice to care for my 14 year old dog who is blind, has dementia, and is no longer safe on her own. I'm retired so am always with her but was called for jury duty and had no choice. I worry a lot about my dog's safety but felt at ease with Hallie staying with her. Hallie is very gentle and caring and my dog took to her right away. What a relief! So grateful.
