I love animals but don't have any of my own, moving too much and traveling too much for it to make sense. But getting to care for others' animals, helping fulfill their needs is something I really enjoy and feel is mutually beneficial. About: I've been doing pet care for many years over on other services such as Trusted Housesitters, as well as private animal care for friends, family, and other private sources. I'm very active and very much enjoy taking larger dogs for long walks, or having quiet, calming time with nervous cats, and everything in between. I'm currently working a remote job, so I have no physical obligations in terms of having to be anywhere, so I can pretty easily accommodate any types of schedule that your animal prefers! I live in a very safe, quiet neighborhood which boasts a really beautiful dog park, and have a patio for animals to spend outside time if they desire, and a fantastic neighborhood for walking dogs. About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been managing 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, and their body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. Growing up, my family had 13 dogs, so caring for them and being surrounded by animals was a significant part of my childhood. As I grew older, so did they, and unfortunately, most have since passed away. After moving to New Mexico three years ago, I quickly realized how much I missed having my furry companions around. Becoming a pet sitter has truly been one of the most rewarding decisions I have made. A few months ago, I also began co-parenting a Miniature Schnauzer and. Shih Tzu with my sister, which has reminded me just how much I enjoy spending time with dogs, caring for them, and keeping them happy and entertained. I truly believe the saying that “a dog is a person’s best friend.” ❤️ Our pets may be one chapter of our lives, but to them, we are their whole story. I will have non-toxic cleaners for hard surfaces if needed.
