About: I’ve taken care of friends and neighbors animals all throughout college so I have lots of experience! I’m very nurturing and kind and I even have my own kitty that is very friendly. I have a flexible work schedule so I’m work from home most days. I love to go to the gym and go on walks. I am a home body so on the weekends I like to cook and prepare for the week. A typical day with your animal looks like playtime in the morning and a walk in the evening! If it’s a cat I make sure to play throughout the day and especially at night so they and I sleep well! If I am going to your home I will read and relax with them when I’m not playing with them and I will feed based on your schedule for your pet.
“Alexus is very professional, communicative, and accommodating. She has done a great job of caring for my senior pup with anxiety. Cannot recommend enough!”

About: I have had pets all my life and looked after friend's and family's pets in the U.S. and Mexico. I love getting to know their habits and quirks and being their buddy, while they're people were away. I am a remote graphic designer and do landscaping. My schedule is very flexible and enjoy taking dogs for walks and sitting/playing with cats. I use Rover when I travel and know what it's like to be away from your pets. I love spending time with pets, giving them the extra care when their people are away. I think giving people the freedom to travel and work, and still take great care of their pets is very important.
“Eden is great. She is very pleasant and calm. She has been walking my Australian Cattle Dog for just over a week, and she does just what we asked her to do which was to poop her out some! Mission accomplished!! Thank you Eden!”

“Hossanna is an incredible dog walker! She's reliable, loves what she does, and always gives thoughtful notes and pictures during her drop ins. I would absolutely recommend booking Hossanna for all your dog care needs.”
“Benjamin was great with our furbaby. Our senior dog had recently hurt herself and was on the mend but we were still concerned. Benjamin communicated how she was doing and took great care of her. Highly recommend”

“Gabriel was awesome! I request Gabriel walk my Winston when I was in a pinch. He took my guy on a walk and was very patient with waiting for him to potty (the whole reason for the walk). He kept in communication with me and asked for any tips that might help my pup. If the situation ever arises again I will be sure to schedule with Gabriel!”

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.

“Our dogs were completely into Melissa the moment she arrived! She balances leadership and direction with kindness and joy. We are excited to welcome her into our pack!”

“Greg had worked with my dog a year and a half ago, and it was a very good experience. Sadly, that dog passed away but now I have a new dog and I reached out to Greg to see if he could help me get Scooby some extra exercise. He jumped right back in and is helping me and Scooby get off to a good start from the shelter! Greg is great with dogs, and very respectful when it comes to scheduling and communication”

About: I've grown up with dogs (mostly big ones) all my life. I've worked with big, small, and medium dogs and understand behavior stems not from breed but from how the fur babies have been treated. Currently in between jobs so Bear and I have lots of time for walks in the park and dog park fun. We love meeting other pups. I have a safe fenced yard with a dobie who get along with all sized pups. I make sure to keep the yard and house clean to ensure a friendly welcoming environment. We can also crate doggos if owners would like
“Thank you for the quick response. Sombra is awesome and usually have a friend pick her up on unexpected longer days but they weren't available. Lauren was able to step in on a moments notice. 🐾 of thanks!”

I love animals of all sizes and have all the time in the world to care for them. I do not currently have a job- I am a college student doing this over the summer. I can spend all day and potentially if needed all night with your animals! I do not have a car so I can't drive them places but I am happy to go for walks with them! I will spend all day with your animals! I'm good at keeping to schedules, but I might spoil your animals just a little. “Leah is fantastic with Dobby. Our first meet and greet last month went very well with my normally reactive dog. But once Dobby sensed Leah’s energy - kind and safe - he had trust in her. He is excited when he see’s Leah and they have really good walks where his tongue is hanging out. We are grateful to have Leah help out with walking Dobby each week!”

About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! I'm offering drop-in sitting and dog walking, and I cannot wait to have the opportunity to meet your pets. I work full time, but am available outside of standard working hours to spend plenty of time with your pups! I have pets of my own so I know how important it is to spend time with them & make sure they are happy while you are away. When caring for pets, I always make sure to guarantee they have a comfortable and clean environment as well as plenty of play time (for their benefit & because I just love dogs!)
“Hannah was great! Took time to meet my puppy and I on zoom before walk and gave me great advice as a new dog mom. Hannah kept sent a pic from the walk and all went well. Highly recommend.”

“We were looking for a trustworthy, dependable walker for our rambunctious dog and Melissa fits the bill! She seems like a genuinely good person who our dog just adores. It's hard to let a stranger handle your beloved pets. Your friend is in good hands with Melissa! We'll continue to use her for daily walks.”

Yale Village dog parents share their Rover experiences
Immediately on the meet & greet, our dog loved Benjamin! Since then, we’ve had Benjamin walk our puppy three separate weekends, and every time he shows up exactly when he’s scheduled and follows our instructions exactly. Even better, Benjamin takes VERY good pictures, and we love getting to show those off to whoever we’re with at the time.

Eden has been doing a great job walking our dogs. She was very kind and compassionate meeting our animals, one of which is front door aggression. She handled them so calmly that there was no issues, and has been taking our dogs on hour walks, tiring them out perfectly! Thank you!
