About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

She provided daily updates/pics of my boy, and I loved how he had friends while he stayed by her so he got a little bit of socialization with the other dogs (they had a time). About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. About: From birth I have been surrounded by cats, dogs, horses, chickens, goats, and many creatures in between. My dad trained dogs and horses (no such thing as cat training…. If you know, you know) and taught me all he knows. I have fostered and trained puppies and currently have 2 cats of my own who are great with dogs. I am a travel nurse and don’t think the long shifts would be fair to have a dog of my own, otherwise I would! I had to remove all of my bengal’s teeth after an emergency and had to fight a newly adopted bengal to give him his antibiotics and pain meds in forms of pills and drops. I have lived through many animals’s passing from old age so am well versed in senior cares as well. Through my career and life experiences no emergency is too big for me. Your pets activity level will become mine- young or old hearted I am here to hang! I got cats so I could go away for weekends and still hire folks on Rover to come give them love on trips they can’t come cause I feel too bad otherwise. Pets are our babies and alike to humans all have their own personalities. I am super excited to get to know yours and thank you for trusting me with your family members :) I work 12 hour night shifts from 7pm-7am 3 days a week, but my partner works from home so there is always someone to give them love. Off days are spent in the mountains on trails or relaxing around the house. I have a large backyard and 2 cats who are missing a dog to play with or rooms they can safely relax in if your furry friend is not other-pet friendly. I come home to go on a walk and wake up in time to drink some coffee and enjoy some hours before work. I have a high fenced yard. I like to keep the routine the same as their normal, so will rely on your directions on when to feed, exercise, and wind down if there are any specifics. I’m currently a full time nursing student but I still have time to care for your loving pets. Whether that be in between classes or evenings I am fully devoted to making sure each pet gets the attention and consistency they deserve. I like to maintain their usual routine as closely as possible and any special instructions from their owner. I provide a clean, pet friendly environment where they can lead and I always supervise interactions if other animals are around. There is also a field where I stay, where the dogs can run around freely on.
About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. If you choose house sitting, your pet won’t just be cared for—they’ll have a constant companion who keeps their routine consistent and stress-free. I also love taking pets on little adventures, like trips to nearby parks, to keep them engaged and happy. For your peace of mind, I’m happy to provide daily updates with photos and messages, so you always know your pet is safe, relaxed, and having a great time.
About: I have had animals my whole life, and have worked in the pet industry for 6 years. My day job experience has been managing 2 different local pet food stores, where I’ve learned a lot about the needs of dogs and cats, and their body language. My old job had foster cats, so I have experience taking care of up to 10 cats at a time (feeding, litter cleaning, meds, and playtime). I also have pet sat for many of my friends and family members. I love walking! I enjoy taking my own dog on short walks or really long walks to get his energy out. I have experience with high energy dogs that may pull or not be comfortable around other dogs or people. I also have experience with puppies, kittens, and special needs pets. I’ve owned 2 disabled dogs that required diaper changes, meds, and regular bathing and cleaning up after them. Please note that my rates are a starting rate, and if you are more than 6 miles from me, I may charge a travel fee to compensate for gas and wear and tear on my vehicle. I am currently going to school full time at UNM. My schedule is pretty flexible though, and I am willing to work with you! I can come before, in between, or after class and on weekends! I will always want to come meet you and your pet before I start the service. I will take notes on everything so I can keep your pet on their routine, no matter how specific. I want to make you and your pet 100% comfortable! I am experienced with reading body language with pets, so I can tell if your pet is too overwhelmed or nervous. I also love sending updates, including photos and videos, to let you know how your fur baby is doing!
About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. I know what it means to be a good and responsible sitter, and I can guarantee if you trust me with your pets you will not regret it! About: I've been doing pet care for many years over on other services such as Trusted Housesitters, as well as private animal care for friends, family, and other private sources. I'm very active and very much enjoy taking larger dogs for long walks, or having quiet, calming time with nervous cats, and everything in between. I'm happy to accommodate all sorts of preferred sorts of care and I'm happy to specify those to your particular needs! I'm currently working a remote job, so I have no physical obligations in terms of having to be anywhere, so I can pretty easily accommodate any types of schedule that your animal prefers! I live in a very safe, quiet neighborhood which boasts a really beautiful dog park, and have a patio for animals to spend outside time if they desire, and a fantastic neighborhood for walking dogs. “Apollo can be a handful with his anxiety and reactivity, and Bri handled it beautifully. They had a rocky first night, because he kept barking at every small noise. After several hours of this, he had her a bit worried about whether or not she could get him to settle down and sleep. But she stuck with it and got him to calm down and pass out. From there the visit went great. She followed our feeding and medication instructions exactly, worked on some training with him during his stay, and did a nice job with redirecting his attention when he got reactive on walks. Communication was excellent throughout. I received regular photos and updates, and she flagged any concerns as they came up rather than letting them sit. The best sign of how the weekend went: at pickup, Apollo planted himself on and between her feet multiple times while we were talking about how the weekend went. He clearly trusts and adores her, which can be difficult given his anxiety. We'll absolutely be booking with her again!”
