I have very detailed (and sometimes neurotic) instructions when it comes to my dog, and Hossanna never once made me feel bad about that. She was patient, understanding, and clearly cared about doing things right for Azula. She sent us many thoughtful photos throughout the stay, and it was obvious Azula was comfortable, happy, and safe in her care. “Pat has been watching Beau during the daytime for some time now and recently we left him a 4 over nights for the first time. We had no worries leaving him with Pat and felt assured he would be well taken care of. Beau is always happy and excited to see Pat which makes us happy. About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. As always, I'm concerned when I'll be away for an extended period, as Shosh is an "only" cat and has "trauma" issues that can elevate her stress when I'm not around. However, Shosh was evidently in good spirits from the many daily photos Tessa sent me of her twice daily visits to feed and play with Shosh. And upon my return, Shosh had excitedly told me about her adventures with Tessa. Thank you so much, Tessa. We'll do this again, the next time I must travel and leave Shosh at home.”

About: Since starting with Rover I have gone from a pet "empty-nester" and working part time, to finding my own rescue dogs and not working outside the home at all! I'm looking for dogs that fill my house with joy and who I can pamper, and walk, and play and just hang out with. Most days I'll be available to spend quality one-on-one time with your dog. I've got a great fenced and gated back yard with sun and shade, a house that is pet friendly, and a neighborhood that is full of parks and sidewalks for leisurely walks. I'm looking for well-behaved and socialized dogs. I don't want them to dig, bark excessively, pee in the house, or be aggressive - even a little. I'm an experienced dog sitter who has been working with Rover since 2016, and I've been a dog and cat owner for over 30 years. My caring for your dog will include finding out what they want and are used to, and making sure they receive it, so they will feel happy and safe. I will be home most of the days that your pet is staying with me. We will take walks and they will be able to go in and out of the house as they desire. I'm also known for being available for ball fetch and tug of war! I have a fenced in yard and a house that is safe for animals of all sizes. If your pet is crate trained please bring their crate, and don't forget their bed, which will be their comfort zone at night. My dog enjoys visitors and is not possessive about her space, toys or food. I'm focused on pet care, and generally don't leave the dogs alone more than a couple of hours at a stretch. The household rises early and it's lights out by 9 PM. My back yard is enclosed with a wall and two gates. I live in a residential area and it is quiet and peaceful inside and out and I am able to keep the dogs separated from doors to the outside should we be welcoming four-legged or two-legged guests.

About: Hello! I am very experienced in any and all dog needs. I work from home, can provide enriching walks, and also have a huge fenced in back yard. I live with one very well trained and friendly dog of my own and am passionate about giving dogs amazing experiences! I work from home, so I can spend as much time with your pup as you'd like! Typically, I leave my house for the gym once a day. I take care of every dog like they are my own. I have one well-trained and friendly pup of my own that yours can play with while they are here! There is a large and safe area for them to run around outside, as well as be cared for inside. No rooms or surfaces are off limits for pets, aside from sleeping in my bed.

I have experience with special needs animal companions, high needs breeds such as Great Pyrenees and dachshunds, and multi pet households. I am in grad school and very flexible with my time! “Travis was great with my 2 year old German Shepherd Chico. I was a little nervous since it was literally Chicos first real walk in a very long time. He warmed up to Travis immediately and Travis was great with him. Chico is not easy to walk and he is very strong but everything went well. Chico loved it and actually wanted to go for more. About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life—my dad, my grandparents, everyone in my family had them—so caring for pups is second nature to me. I have a great pyrenees of my own who brings endless joy to my days and loves making new friends. At my home, your dog will have plenty of fun and comfort. I offer a doggie pool for summer splashes, a ball launcher for endless fetch, and a variety of toys to keep tails wagging. If your pup needs a kennel when left alone, I have two here so you won’t need to bring your own. My home comfortably accommodates up to four dogs at a time, so your furry friend will have plenty of company without feeling crowded. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, or a safe space to relax, I treat every dog like my own—because to me, they are family. I currently work from home! I have a big backyard and one friendly house dogs that are always looking for new friends ☺️ There’s also a doggy pool outside for them to cool down in the summer. The pets are allowed free range of the house (as long as they are house broken) and the backyard. I feed my dogs twice a day and give them dental sticks once daily, but will follow the feeding/grooming/walking routines your dog is used to.
About: I have had pets of all breeds my whole life. My family has had dogs, cats, turtles, you name it! I love spending time with animals and will treat every pet as if they were my own. I currently work part-time as a freelance interpreter, so I make my own schedule and have plenty of down time. I’d love go start using some of that down time in way that will bring me joy and help out others. I have a large fenced yard, that has plenty of shade and room to run around. About: I had a lot of cats and dogs growing up, and I was the neighborhood dog sitter basically from the time I could ride a bike until I left for college. I know for many people today their pets are a furry part of the family, so I would treat them with the same love and care I give my cats and dobies, and make sure your animals are genuinely cared for while you are away. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, pet sitting was actually my very first job, and it quickly became something I genuinely loved doing. Caring for animals has never felt like work to me—it's something I've always been naturally drawn to.
