About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! In Champaign, I have had four cat over different times and now I have a Doodle dog, who is a caring and loving gentleman! I am mostly available in the morning, late afternoons, and early evenings. Other times I spend my time studying at the library and trying to graduate toward my PhD degree. I live in a house and have lots of free space. We have a fenced yard with short fences that work for our large doodle just fine. However, if your fur baby is an escape artist, our fence might be too short and flimsy...
