About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! About: I’ve taken care of my family’s cats and my own cats since I was old enough to help! I also raised 4 litters of kittens, and they all grew up to be happy, cuddly, and sociable! (Source: We kept a few of them 😁) I have also taken care of a senior cat that required medicated food at precise times of day. I’m currently a graduate student at UIUC, so outside of classes I am very flexible! I have excellent time management skills and can easily fit lots of social time in for your pets. Plus it’s easy to bring homework to hang out and pet sit, win win :) In my home I am very careful about hiding anything dangerous from sight. I have cats that love to chew on anything that fits in their mouth and I have gotten very good at creatively hiding cables from them. They get lots of cuddle time and sleep in my bed every night, which is the same love I bring to everyone’s cats!

I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I'll also treat your home with the same respect I would my own, keeping everything clean and secure. During each visit, I'll send updates with photos so you can see how your pet is doing and have peace of mind while you're away.
