About: I have two friendly cats and backyard chickens. I have had cats and dogs for most of my life. I go trail hiking at local forest preserves and state parks 2-4 times a week and would love to take your dog with me! I only have one dog guest at a time (unless they are from the same home) so I can give them lots of care and attention and provide you with regular updates and photos. You will know your pet is being well looked after. My goal is to make your pet feel like it is on a fun vacation while you are on a fun vacation. Nothing makes me happier than dogs I've cared before, coming back and pulling on their leash to come into my house on their next visit! I only work half-time so I have plenty of time for pets. I know how important your pet is to you and I'm very responsible. My dog guests are walked at least three times a day including a walk or hike of 30 minutes or longer. They are also able to use my fenced in backyard when the chickens are locked up for the night .

About: Hello! My name is Sam, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve been able to walk and talk. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for a wide range of animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m currently earning my degree in Animal Science at the U of I, with plans to pursue either veterinary school or a career in animal conservation or animal control. I’ve wanted to join Rover ever since I was little and watched my aunt run a mini daycare out of her home. Since then, I’ve pet‑sat for neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed an extra hand with their pets. This summer, I’m interning at the Vermillion County Animal Shelter to continue building hands‑on experience. I’ve also worked as a Cat Care Volunteer at the Champaign PetSmart, where I helped with daily care, cleaning, and socialization. I’m excited to bring my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for! I'm currently working a part-time internship so I have plenty of free time for your fur-babies on weekends (all day) and weekdays (before 11 and after 3)! I care for pets by following their normal routines, keeping their space clean, ensuring safety, and providing consistent attention, exercise, and monitoring so they stay comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.

About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs since I was little. I’ve worked with high energy dogs as well as senior sleepers. I grew up around livestock dogs so I learned behavior cues and wrangling techniques early on. I’ve become proficient in bathing, nail trims, and ear cleanings, along with giving medications. I have yet to meet a dog that I have not fallen in love with. I currently work full time in the Urbana area and I’m looking to create a new relationship with pets and their owners in the area. About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. I have also had pets with medication needs, so I am experienced in that area. For years I also groomed my own dogs, and I know that each pet has its own needs, preferences, and personalities. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! From my own experience of being a Rover customer for many years, I also know how important it is to pet sit within your home with no disruption to your pet's routine or surroundings. I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! I have been both a renter and homeowner, so I know how valuable your pets are, but also your cozy home, your plants, mail, and relationships with your neighbors. I have owned a bunny, hamsters, cats and dogs. But I also have an affinity for birds and reptiles. I have provided services for friends and family most of my life, now I just want to bring in a bit of extra cash to supplement social security. I'm also mainly a homebody, so if your home or your pets need extra care or a lot of time, I'm fully available.

About: I have experience pet-sitting dogs from spry puppies to gentle giants and everything in between! I have been tasked with playtime, feeding time, and check-ins during the day. I'm currently working part-time, so I will be available for services before 1 pm and after 4 pm during weekdays and all day on the weekends. I have experience walking larger dogs and managing older dog's needs when exercising as well as maintaining a calm environment for anxious and/or older pets.
