About: I have 5 pets as of now! I have 3 cats, 1 ferret, and a bunny! I am willing to take care of any age! I do have experience with bottle feeding kittens as well! I currently work every Friday-Monday until 3pm but I am willing to care for you pet after that if needed. I am free anytime Tuesday-Wednesday. I am willing to take care of any kind of animals! I love walking so taking your dog on a walk would be perfect, and of course making sure they get lots of pets too!!

About: I’ve owned both cats and dogs from a young age. I also have previously worked at a boarding and grooming facility, and have volunteered at local humane societies. I am currently part-time and have extensive availability. Just make sure to check with me about extended house visits or reoccurring appointments, and I will let you know my schedule ahead of time! About: I’ve taken care of my family’s cats and my own cats since I was old enough to help! I also raised 4 litters of kittens, and they all grew up to be happy, cuddly, and sociable! (Source: We kept a few of them 😁) I have also taken care of a senior cat that required medicated food at precise times of day. I’m currently a graduate student at UIUC, so outside of classes I am very flexible! I have excellent time management skills and can easily fit lots of social time in for your pets. Plus it’s easy to bring homework to hang out and pet sit, win win :) In my home I am very careful about hiding anything dangerous from sight. I have cats that love to chew on anything that fits in their mouth and I have gotten very good at creatively hiding cables from them. They get lots of cuddle time and sleep in my bed every night, which is the same love I bring to everyone’s cats!

About: I have been around dogs since I was born and have helped to care for them since I was deemed old enough. I worked with trainers and behaviorist and studied to know more about them. Dogs will always be my favorite animal even though I love all. I am a Certified Veterinary Technician and I want to help owners who have special needs pets or elderly that need medication. About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember, also I’ve cared for hundreds of pets over the last 3 years while pet sitting for veterinary students in St. Kitts, so I’m comfortable with animals of all kinds and personalities! I have two dogs and two cats of my own currently so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I’ll treat your pets like my own, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Upon request, I am also willing to take your dog on a run to get out some extra energy. I work full time Monday through Friday 6am-3pm. Outside of that I’m pretty free to watch your pet. I am also available on weekends and holidays. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely, keep pets on secure leashes during walks, and make sure they always have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable environment. I’m happy to maintain your pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication routines as directed. I can also send pictures and updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy and doing well!

A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.

Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
