About: I’ve taken care of my family’s cats and my own cats since I was old enough to help! I also raised 4 litters of kittens, and they all grew up to be happy, cuddly, and sociable! (Source: We kept a few of them 😁) I have also taken care of a senior cat that required medicated food at precise times of day. I’m currently a graduate student at UIUC, so outside of classes I am very flexible! I have excellent time management skills and can easily fit lots of social time in for your pets. Plus it’s easy to bring homework to hang out and pet sit, win win :) In my home I am very careful about hiding anything dangerous from sight. I have cats that love to chew on anything that fits in their mouth and I have gotten very good at creatively hiding cables from them. They get lots of cuddle time and sleep in my bed every night, which is the same love I bring to everyone’s cats!

About: Three years volunteering at animals shelters and caring for the animals including walks, exercise, cleaning and training of dogs, cats and rats. One year in school for veterinary medicine caring for various animals and in charge of cleaning, sanitation and care for all animals boarded at the school. About: I’ve taken care of a wide range of dogs since I was little. I’ve worked with high energy dogs as well as senior sleepers. I grew up around livestock dogs so I learned behavior cues and wrangling techniques early on. I’ve become proficient in bathing, nail trims, and ear cleanings, along with giving medications. About: I have cared for cats most of my life! I grew up in the country and had about 8 outdoor cats that I cared for growing up. Fast forward to today and my home has 2 wonderful cats that I care for! Both are special needs. PopTart has cerebellar hypoplasia and Lady comes from a former abusive home. I am very well versed in taking on any complex situations that may arise due to my experience with my special needs cats. I have loved cats for my whole life. Many cats I have met left a lasting impression on me. I remember all of their names. PopTart, Lady, Kellogg, Waffles, Buttercup, Lucy, Tigger, and the list goes on. I hope to add your cat to the list of cats that have changed my life! I work from home currently so I will be home 24/7. I am almost always able to pause what I am doing and immediately jump to action. I am a homebody so I will be home to care for your cat almost constantly! I live in a 2 bedroom apartment. It is quite spacious. Both bedrooms are carpeted! I have two cats. Poptart and Lady. Both are as friendly as can be and were instant companions. Neither have ever shown any signs of aggression. Lady actually has taken on a caretaker role for PopTart and I am sure she would be delighted to care for more. You will be given the option during booking for your cat to stay in my second bedroom or if you would like to allow them to freeroam at night. The second bedroom is my current cats bedroom and it is decked out for your cats comfort. Multiple large cat beds, a couch to sleep on, multiple toys, and I even have a TV set up to play bird videos for your cats playtime! I obviously will be keeping the cats separate at night when I cannot monitor them. If you would prefer your cat to freeroam at night then I will put them in their bedroom at night as usual. If you would prefer your cat to stay in my guest cat room then I will allow the cats to freeroam and close the bedroom door. Your cat will be a constant priority.

About: I’ve had pets for as long as I can remember, also I’ve cared for hundreds of pets over the last 3 years while pet sitting for veterinary students in St. Kitts, so I’m comfortable with animals of all kinds and personalities! I have two dogs and two cats of my own currently so I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets. I’ll treat your pets like my own, making sure they get plenty of attention, exercise, and affection while you’re away. Upon request, I am also willing to take your dog on a run to get out some extra energy. I work full time Monday through Friday 6am-3pm. Outside of that I’m pretty free to watch your pet. I am also available on weekends and holidays. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I follow your instructions closely, keep pets on secure leashes during walks, and make sure they always have access to fresh water and a safe, comfortable environment. I’m happy to maintain your pet’s normal feeding, exercise, and medication routines as directed. I can also send pictures and updates so you can feel confident your pets are happy and doing well!

sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
