About: I’ve had three ferrets of my own, so I know just how playful (and mischievous!) exotics can be. I’ve also cared for rabbits, birds, fish, and even snakes for friends and neighbors. Before I moved, I horse sat regularly and honestly feel most at home in a barn—feeding, grooming, mucking stalls, all of it. Cats, though, have always been my comfort zone. I understand their quirks and routines, and I adjust to each one’s personality, whether they’re shy or clingy. I’ve given oral meds, handled picky eaters, and I always keep things clean, calm, and consistent. Whether it purrs, hops, slithers, or gallops—I’ve likely cared for it and loved every minute. I’m a teacher with summers off, so I have full availability right now, and during the school year, I’m available in the afternoons and evenings. When I care for pets in a client’s home, I follow all instructions to a T and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and loved—while also keeping your home just the way you left it. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel completely at ease.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs from young to old, small to big, and healthy to sick/disabled. I’ve been looking after neighbor’s and family friend’s dogs for the past 6 years. I’ve done drop ins, hung out at the house for 24/7 attention, and stayed the night at the home. I am on summer break from community college except for one summer class on Fridays. I will also be out of town from late July to early August and I will update my calendar when I find out those dates. I am available everyday (except Fridays) from 7am-12am. I treat all dogs I come by with love and respect and try my best to accommodate their needs. Some clients require special instructions or have a specific way of doing things that i’m glad to follow. I want to make sure your dog is well taken care of.

About: I have experience with Elderly dogs as well as puppies. I have some experience with training and am able to assist with simple commands like sit, stay and heel. I have experience with reactive dogs as I used to have one of my own and am very good at soothing stressed animals and keeping them under control. I am a University student and will be leaving Wilmington on July 10th. However I do regularly return for holidays and will be back in December. I am a very diligent caretaker always keeping an eye on the pet and taking time to determine what they need when they express distress. I am very active and love being in nature so I am happy to take as many walks as might be necessary!

“DeAnna was wonderful with our cats. Before she came, we told her she'd likely never see one of our cats because he's extremely shy and hides from strangers. But, every day, she sent pictures of him and the rest of the cats playing with her and letting her pet him! DeAnna checked in each day, sent pics of her filling the water bowls and scooping the cat box, and sent tons of pics of the cats being happy and adored and played with. She also brought in packages and kept a watchful eye on the house. Would definitely recommend!”
