“Carey was the absolute best dog sitter I could ever ask for!! She was so so helpful and patient and made me feel so at ease taking care of my high-energy German Shepherd, Lady. It’s always a bit nerve-racking to leave your dog with someone new, and especially so when your dog is a handful like my Lady! But Carey truly went above and beyond my expectations, and even when Lady had some frustrating anxiety issues, Carey took care of it without complaint, which seriously meant the world to me. She also sent me lots of photos every day and kept me super updated!! Book Carey for your next dog sitter and you will be so glad you did!!”

“Christina S. and her husband took very good care of Rocket! They play with him, walk him, give frequent updates and pictures. 10/10 dog sitter and highly recommend! This was our second time using her and will be booking again! I never worry about our fur baby when I'm away.”

“Where do we begin! Steven and his family are awesome people and dog lovers at heart. Our girl Mila stayed with them for 7 days and had a blast. Steven was sending us regular updates and pictures which was really nice and helped us cope with being away. Fantastic experience and highly recommend. Thanks again!!!!”

“Haley was absolutely amazing! My old boy has some anxiety issues and Haley provided a comfortable and calm environment for him. He’s never stayed at someone else’s house before so I was pleasantly surprised at how well he did. I highly recommend booking a stay with Haley!”
“Jennifer took great care of my very active foster dog over Thanksgiving. She sent updates with pictures regularly. It was clear that Ramsey felt comfortable with Jennifer and her family and was well cared for.”

“Caitlin was so wonderful and we could definitely tell our pup had a good time through the pictures and updates. Her house was a wonderful environment for our puppy to explore and learn about nature.”

“We had a great experience with Taylor and his family. They shared photos and updates while we were away and our pup even made some new friends while he was there. Would absolutely recommend!”

About: I’ve had animals since I was a kid and always enjoyed taking care of them! It’s very rewarding for me. In my early 20s I was a dog trainer I’m a stay at home dad. We have a 10 and a 5 year old. I take walks throughout the day and between my wife someone is always home unless we are taking the kids somewhere. If they like the car and the park I can even take them with me! I walk a lot and am outside with my kids throughout the day. My kids love dogs so they will be showered with love and cuddles (if they enjoy that).
“Andrew and Erin, I’ve been the best pet sitters we could ask for! Our little multi-Pooh, Chloe, absolutely loves them, and has a great time with them! They are very communicative, kind and send lots of pictures and updates. It makes leaving her so much easier knowing that she’s having a great time while I’m gone.”

“My dog stayed with Sue-Ling, and I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. She took such wonderful care of my dog. Kind, patient, and really attentive to her needs. It was clear from the start that Sue-Ling truly loves animals and treats them like her own. There was a small health issue while I was away, but Sue-Ling handled everything calmly and responsibly. She kept me updated right away and made sure my dog was comfortable and safe. I felt completely reassured knowing she was in such good hands. I’m really grateful for the care and attention Sue-Ling gave to my dog, and I would absolutely trust her to look after her again anytime. She’s amazing!”

“Phoebe was so great! She was available to check in on my cat Winnie over the holidays on short notice. She was very thorough and asked tons of questions during the meet and greet. When we got home from traveling, Winnie was very happy and very well taken care of. Thank you Phoebe!”

About: I've taken 3 different veterinary assistant courses and I have previously worked as an overnight kennel technician at a veterinary clinic where I work with small mamals and exotic pets throughout the night. I also have experience at dog tay cares and pet boarding facilities. I am also now certified in pet 1st aid anc cpr for cats and dogs. Helping out with animals is my passion! I will treat your loved ones with the best possible care! I can't wait to meet you're precious babies <3

About: I've always had a big heart for all animals. Growing up, we weren't allowed to have any pets larger than a rabbit- so I worked with that. We had fish, turtles, a lizard, chinchilla, but always begged for more. On my 12th birthday was when my sister and I were finally granted a miracle- our mother was allowing for us to adopt a set of kittens. From there, our furry family grew. We now have another cat and two dogs! When working to prove our responsibility, my sister and I took it upon ourselves to become our neighborhoods pet sitter and walker. In school, I had won an award for dedicating most community service hours where I volunteered to help at my local animal shelter. After high school I moved a lot for school and work, so had to leave behind my furry family behind at my familys home. Today in NC I have a small pup and rescued stray cat. They are the lights of my life and I would love to share some love with your fur baby as well!

“Both during the initial visit and while she was taking care of them, Ashleigh was great with my dogs! My three husky mixes loved her! She took the time to go outside and engage with each one of them and cater to their individual personalities. She was extremely patient with their high energy needs and even took the time to send me several photos of them playing in the yard. Her exerperince of currently being in Vet school, and of previously working in a kennel and as a Vet Assistant really put me at ease in that if there were some type of an emergency, Ashleigh would be able to promptly and properly be able to handle it. I will defintely request Ashleigh's services again in the future!”

If you have an animal that does not like other dogs, I will be happy to drop by and spend time with them in their comfort zone. I have owned a husky and worked with many high-maintenance breeds, as well as having experience working with animals with disabilities and administering medications. I am open to boarding at my home, walks, day visits, and addressing other health needs your animals may have. Thank you, and I hope to pet and play with your fur friends soon! I will be working from 8am - 4pm, Mon. - Fri. During the school year. I have summers off and I am available full time and occasionally able to watch during the Holiday seasons. I have a large fenced and backyard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed.
About: I’ve always connected well with animals, especially dogs. I’ve dog walked and watched others’ animals from a very young age. I was 22 when I decided to become a dog trainer. I was fortunate enough to attend one of the best programs in the country at Animal Behavior College, with a certificate in canine behavior therapy & a concentration in rehabilitating shelter dogs. I’m also qualified to train emotional support animals, which has been so rewarding. I chose this as a career path because of how much I genuinely love all living things. I can’t wait to meet your furry friends and give them the best care they could ask for! I own my own business, so I make my own schedule. I can tend to whatever schedule best suits the animals. I don’t have pets of my own, so that gives me even more flexibility. I always make sure I’m doing my best to care for animals, in any aspect of my life or career. I’m diligent in making sure their feeding, walking and play schedules are upheld promptly, and that their routines stay relatively in tact. This is one of the best things you can do to ease a pet’s anxiety about their owners being away. I work as a trainer, which means I’m happy to add on training sessions with your pet while they’re in my care, through my business if that’s something of interest. I’m very amenable to the specifications for each individual animal. Some dogs like to be given affection on the couch for a few minutes each day. Others might enjoy watching the birds in their yard for a while. I’m always happy to attune my care for each dog. When walking a dog, the quality of the walks are just as important as their frequency. Dogs require a certain level of mental stimulation each day, and ten minutes of sniffing is enough to satisfy most dog’s needs. They need the sniffing as much as the exercise. Your dog will be given ample time to sniff and “read the doggy newspaper”, as well as get some great exercise. I always make sure the animal has gotten everything that they need from the experience.
About: ⸻ I have extensive experience caring for a wide range of animals, including dogs, cats, birds, and more. I’ve successfully managed households with multiple pets—such as four dogs and a bird at once—and specialize in providing attentive, hands-on care for senior pets and those with medical needs. I offer in-home pet sitting to ensure a smooth, low-stress experience for your pets while you’re away. I pride myself on being reliable, respectful, and fully committed to the well-being of every animal in my care. I’m currently transitioning out of my previous role, which means I’m available full-time for pet care. I’m excited to dedicate my time and energy to caring for your pets with the attention and reliability they deserve! I care for pets like they’re my own, giving them love, attention, and consistency right in the comfort of their home. I go above and beyond to make sure every animal feels safe, happy, and loved—because when I’m your sitter, your pet gets the best.

“We selected Julia for our Carolina Dog based on reviews, her experience with big dogs and the fact that she is a certified dog trainer. We were delighted to find that in addition to all of that she is kind and caring too. Zoë has found a new friend as well as a home away from home and we have found piece of mind.”
“Savannah is great! She went above and beyond to accommodate my fluctuating schedule while I was in town for family events. She was extremely kind and sensitive to Sunny's needs. He is an older dog, and needs medication and TLC. She sent updates and photos, always a reassuring thing! I would give her 10 stars if I could, and am very happy to have found her. I will absolutely use her again!”
“Gabrielle was amazing! We needed a few hours for our boy to hang out and she furnished a safe and loving environment. Will definitely use again on our next visit down.”

About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available, they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots, heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. We are attentive to this and supervise very closely until we see how things are going to be. We own both a large and small dog crate and can separate them if needed

About: Reliable and attentive professional dog sitter dedicated to providing safe, comfortable, and stress-free care for dogs of all breeds and temperaments. Experienced in daily routines including feeding, walking, administering medications, and maintaining consistent schedules to keep pets happy and healthy while their owners are away. Known for a calm, patient approach and strong attention to detail, I focus on building trust with both dogs and their owners. I prioritize clear communication, regular updates, and a clean, secure environment so owners can have complete peace of mind. If it's nice out then I like to leave it open so they have free reign. My place is small so I'm always near. I will only accept pets that get along with other dogs. It starts with my dog, Kaiya. About: I have been around animals all my life. We raised our children with dogs, cats, chickens, fish, and even butterflies! I love animals and often care for family and friends whose pets need care. I have worked in New York, Arizona, and now North Carolina caring for these precious pets! I believe deeply that these fur babies are intuitive, intelligent, and capable of giving and receiving love. I work from home so my schedule is flexible. My day revolves around the needs of the pets I care for. I manage our rentals on our property so I am always close by! The pets I care for are free to roam around and explore inside our home. We have a back deck and open backyard. We back up to a nature preserve so there are walking trails and lots of places for exercise. Our neighborhood is quiet and well established. There are many dogs walking throughout in the morning and evening with their owners!
“Thank you Drew for being great with Tony today! I really appreciated getting those updates and having some piece of mind while traveling. You’ll be my go-to if I need him to be watched again.”
“Allie was a great sitter! My dog was very relaxed after his stay with her. I really liked how she welcomed Shifu and gave him time to get along with the other dogs in the house.”

About: Hi! I’m Emma — dog mom of 3, lifelong dog lover, and small-dog boarding specialist in Wilmington, NC. I have three friendly small dogs of my own (Cavaliers + a Cocker Spaniel), so your pup will always have built-in friends, supervised playtime, and a home-based environment instead of an overcrowded kennel. Taking care of dogs is just part of my everyday life! I work from home, so I’m with my dogs pretty much all day. We keep a regular routine of potty breaks, playtime, and light training throughout the day. On weekends, we love to switch things up with a hike, a beach stroll, or grabbing a pup cup at our favorite coffee spot. Whether it’s a chill day at home or an adventure, I’m always focused on making sure the dogs in my care are happy, safe, and well-loved. Located in a safe, quiet Scotts Hill neighborhood with a fully fenced backyard for playtime. I only board 1-2 dogs at a time, so your pup will always get personal attention and care. They have the option to have their own cozy suite or stay in the same room as our resident pups, both with comfy bedding, toys, and all the essentials. Please note all pets are crated when unsupervised and overnight. I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog feels right at home!
About: I’m a dog lover with one very sweet pup, Goose. I recently lost my beloved pittie, DJ, and while I’m not ready to bring a second dog into my family full-time just yet, I do miss having a second set of paws in the house. That’s why I started Rover. It felt like a beautiful way to share my home, help another family, and bring some joy back into my daily routine. I work from home, so your dog will have constant company, plenty of attention, and a peaceful, structured environment. Goose and I do two walks a day (morning and evening, when it’s not too hot!) around the quiet pond in my neighborhood. I have a spacious house with lots of room to play, sunbathe, and snooze. And yes, the dogs are absolutely allowed on the couch, the bed, and pretty much wherever they feel comfy. My backyard isn’t fully fenced, but I use long 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely run, lounge, and soak up the sun while I hang out with them outside. What sets me apart? I really love dogs. Like, more than most humans. I treat every dog like my own, with gentleness, attention, and a deep respect for their routines, quirks, and needs. Goose is the ultimate host: calm, kind, and respectful with every pup he meets. Whether your dog needs space, playtime, meds, or just someone to sit with them while they nap, I’m here for it! Pet care is part of my everyday routine. I work from home, so your pup will have constant company, whether they want to play, nap nearby, or just follow me around like the world’s cutest coworker. Goose and I do two walks a day (morning and evening) around the pond in my neighborhood. During the day, I hang outside with the dogs for short breaks using 20-foot staked leashes so they can safely sniff, sunbathe, and stretch their legs. Inside, my home is peaceful, spacious, and fully dog-friendly. Couches, beds, and sunny windows are all fair game. I don’t use a crate by default, but if that’s part of your dog’s routine, I’m happy to include it — just bring theirs along. Your pup will be treated like one of my own. Loved, safe, and never left alone for long. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I only host one dog at a time (or one family of dogs), so your pup will never be overwhelmed or competing for attention. If it’s your first time booking with me, I like to schedule a quick meet-and-greet to make sure your dog and Goose get along. He’s incredibly sweet and respectful, but I want everyone to feel safe and comfortable before a stay. I supervise all outdoor time. My yard isn’t fenced, but I use 20-foot staked leashes so the dogs can safely lounge and sniff while I’m outside with them. Inside, it’s a calm, cozy, dog-friendly home. Couches, beds, and sunny spots are all fair game. I’ll keep your pup’s routine consistent: feeding schedules, crate time (if needed, just bring yours), and any medication they need. Whatever they’re used to, I’ll stick to it. You’ll get regular updates and plenty of cute photos, and your dog will be treated like one of my own.

You'll likely be pleased with the time & care given to your pet(s) unless they conflict with info. below: If accepted after meet & greet, I’ll come up to twice per day for sitting. I’ll bring any dog(s) outside or for walks up to twice per visit, if requested, especially for puppies. I “may” have sufficient ability otherwise but much prefer early mornings & before dark any day & time of week. If needed in late mornings, evenings, or night, the schedule may be a conflict, especially if you’re further than 10 miles from where I am. If GPS shows YOUR HOME MORE THAN 15 MILES from mine before our meet & greet, let’s discuss fair & agreeable extra convenience fee for time & gas I’ll be commuting that day & possibly throughout the job, especially if I’m working otherwise then. Extra pay must be negotiated IF I MUST PAY for PARKING &/or YOU’RE NOT IN A HOME WITH AMPLE EASE & AVAILABILITY of PARKING such as your own private driveway, lots of spots on your block/road near entrance, or it otherwise takes several minutes to get from my car into your home. HOUSESITTING: Considering safety, my mother's condition, my own multiple pets (including spoiled dog 🐶), & that I may be working remotely or not, AN AGREED UPON MINIMUM # of HOURS P/DAY is the MOST I’LL LIKELY DO vs. OVERNIGHT housesitting. I’ll hopefully break my own dog’s separation anxiety soon but still must balance those needs with your pet(s). If I do consider being there overnight house sitting for you at some later time, “please consider possibility” of my small 14 lb shih tzu dog coming leashed & with a carrier, if preferred, to stay with me if there’s a room or place (that doesn’t have hardwood or a rug) to keep him separated from your pet(s). Yes his spoiled butt has occasionally had tantrums that include relieving himself on the floor or carpet on occasion when mad at me (usually only for leaving him) but if not another available room like a bathroom, I’ll keep him in his carrier during the likely 2-4+ hrs housesitting p/visit or day so your pet(s) & he should be fine. PLEASE DO NOT REQUEST SITTING OF ANY TYPE OF DOG OR PET WITH A HISTORY OF AGGRESSION, INDIVIDUALLY or AS A BREED: This includes pitties, rotties, Shepards, Dobermins, & cats that have shown aggression towards any person or people. I know it may be based mainly on how they were treated while growing up…but I like living & have many others depending on me to make it home. Call me chicken 🐓 all you want but: I’m unwilling to work in isolated homes (considered too far/blocked from viewpoint of neighbors/roads + too close to wooded areas). For safety & privacy, I may be willing when able, to stay for a minimum agreed upon amount of hrs. but not overnight unless the unlikely event I feel VERY safe, cozy, comfortable, & secure in doing so. I must be able to trust that I will be protected in private moments as well & don't mind spending hours daily in a decent home for house sitting under those conditions but must feel that my mom, pets, & I are fully comfortable & safe for overnight stays (which’ll likely have .1% chance of happening 😅). We can discuss this further & some things mentioned may have changed since time of posting but THERE MUST BE SECURE, WORKING LATCHES on exit doors or you agree I may bring my own + LOCKS ON ALL ENTRANCES, including window locks. PROVIDE THE # TO YOUR SECURITY, FRONT DESK, LANDLORD, &/or SUPERINTENDENT, IF APPLICABLE, in case of emergency 🆘. ABSOLUTELY NO ONE ELSE SHOULD HAVE KEYS THAT CAN ENTER WHILE YOU’RE AWAY!!! During meet & greet, please show me where applicable fire extinguishers & any other life saving devices such as escape ladders from upper floors are just to be on the safe side. Yup. Horror movies & bad experiences galore…! 🤷🏽♀️
About: I have been around pets my whole life! I have taken care of each and every pet I’ve had. I have always had either a dog or cat in my house. And each of my family members have had pets that I have been around as well. I also use to volunteer at a wildlife rehabilitation center, where I cared for injured animals. I have my own mini farm, where I have pigs, goats, chickens, ducks and turkeys! So if you need any of those types of animals cared for I can do that too! I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: Over the past two summers, I have gained great experience watching not only my own dog but also pet sitting for my friends and family. I am incredibly reliable and my top priority is always keeping your pets safe and comfortable. I am also super active and absolutely love going on long walks, so your dog will get plenty of exercise and fun outdoor time with me! I currently work a part-time job, which gives me a lot of flexibility for pet care. I am always free in the early mornings to take your dog out for walks, potty breaks, and fresh air before my day starts. Depending on the day of the week, I am also available for evening visits, dinner feedings, and nighttime care. When caring for your pet in your home, safety is my absolute highest priority. I treat your home with total respect and strictly follow all entry, feeding, and care instructions. During our walks, I keep dogs on a secure, short leash, stay highly alert to our surroundings, and make sure they get plenty of fresh air and exercise while staying completely safe.
About: My name is Drew, and I am the ultimate animal lover! I spent three years in Denver working in management at an in-home pet care company. I will take the very best care of your pets and provide a fun-loving environment! My pitsky, Quest, is friendly with other pups and loves to run and play all day.
About: I’ve taken care of multiple pets for family and friends! I’ve worked previously in a dog daycare/boarding and have knowledgeable skills in caring for animals! I have experience in caring for pets of all ages and even performing some grooming services, such as baths, and nail trims. I currently work in vet med and have experience noticing any abnormalities in dog behavior or health. I currently work full-time, however I make time to make sure all pets in my care are physically exercised and mentally stimulated. Both of which are very important to me. I have a fenced in yard and a friendly 2 yr old lab to keep your pets company. It is very important to me that pets are physically and mentally stimulated and I have various puzzles and games I can use with your pets! I can crate dogs as needed for their safety.
“I was very nervous about not coming home to take my puppy out during lunch but Andrea has been amazing! She takes my baby out for a walk and plays with her when I can’t be there. She even brought her a new teething toy. I couldn’t recommend Andrea enough!”

About: I’ve grown up with puppies/dogs and have so much love for them! Caring for an animal is a big responsibility and one I do not take lightly, I will take care of your furry friend as if it’s my own! As a college student with a very flexible schedule, pet care fits easily into my daily and weekly routine. Since I’m very active, I enjoy spending time playing with dogs, taking walks, and making sure they get plenty of exercise and attention. My flexible schedule also allows me to stay on top of feeding, cleaning, grooming, and any other care a pet might need throughout the week. I have a spacious fenced in backyard for your dog to run around in, as well as a very safe friendly neighborhood for going on walks! I’m not strict on allowing animals on the furniture or in the bed if it’s okay with you, it’s okay with me. I’m able to crate the dog if needed or wanted by you.

I have experience with caring for dogs that I can utilize with your babies.
About: I want to be a veterinarian, I’ve known that since I was a little girl. I am available whenever needed throughout the week. I’m more than happy to spend the night with your dog(s). I’ve grown up with dogs and cats my entire life and love meeting and playing with new furry friends. If given the chance to care for your pet I will treat them like one of my own. To me and my family dogs and cats aren’t just pets, they’re family, and I’d love to add more to it. I am a full-time manager at one of the local fast food restaurants. My schedule varies, but it’s very flexible to meet your pets needs. Besides sticking into the schedule given to me I will usually do whatever your pet asks me to do as long as they’re within your parameters. I’ve had some very demanding clients in the past so having a strong willed pet is not new to me.

About: I offer dog walking, potty breaks, and playtime as well as house sitting. I love being outside. I have had dogs and cats all of my life and I am very responsible and compassionate. I treat all pets as if they are my family. If you have a high energy dog I can definitely handle him/her and wear him out! I can also care for cats, fish, rabbits, etc. (no snakes please!) I can bring in mail, take trash cans to and from the curb on trash days, water plants, you name it! Message me for details!! I enjoy walking dogs and letting them out to use the bathroom first thing each morning. If they require constant care I can do that or if they’re fine to do their own thing I can also leave them to that. I prefer caring for pets in the pets home. This is more comfortable for them anyways. Doggy anxiety is a real thing! And when their family is out of town, it’s best to keep them in their own comfortable environment.

“Caitlin was so wonderful and we could definitely tell our pup had a good time through the pictures and updates. Her house was a wonderful environment for our puppy to explore and learn about nature.”

“Olivia was very attentive to our needs for Leila. She shared some great videos with us which made us feel relaxed & happy that our girl was well taken care of.”
