About: I have owned and cared for pets my entire life, including neighbor’s, family’s, and friends’ pets! I have experience with senior dogs and puppies with my own dogs. I have cared for creatures of all kinds including dogs, cats, fish, birds, bunnies, and more! I recently graduated high school and am available for most of the summer and over my school breaks. During the summer, I occasionally babysit and I volunteer at a dojo on Saturday mornings. I only have a few small vacations so I am free the majority of the time. I have a dog of my own and do not want to risk conflicts so I am offering services that do not require pets to visit my home. I have a background in teaching so I am very observant and energetic if needed so your pet will have someone to watch them and play with them. I love being outside so I will gladly take your pet on walks and play with them outside.

About: Growing up, my household always had at least two dogs and a cat. Very early on, I took in the majority of their day to day care, and I’ve since tended to the pets of friends, family, and neighbors. I’m currently on the job hunt, so I have ample time to shower your fur baby with love! I’m available every weekday beginning in the late morning, and I have a lot of flexibility if your pet needs some extra time. I pay close attention to your pet’s body language so I can respect their boundaries and gain their trust. I am always gentle and patient.

About: I adore all types of dogs, big or small. Years of experience have taught me that the most important thing is respecting their space and boundaries while making sure they have everything they need. I also believe that it is incredibly important they have an outlet for their energy, so I am willing to play with them for as long as it takes - sometimes fetch has gone on for over an hour. Again, safety is of the utmost importance and I have experience taking care of all sorts of dogs with different temperaments, including some escape artists, who were all safe and sound when their families returned. I'm currently working part-time so I have some incredible flexibility when it comes to taking care of your pups! I'm willing and able to wake up early or stay up late as needed and I can spend plenty of time making sure your pets get all the love and affection they deserve. Your pet's safety is my top priority and while I have experience caring for a variety of animals, including some with serious medical conditions, I believe that their families have the best understanding of what they need. As such, I am happy to work with you to determine the best means of caring for your pet, whether that includes particular leash attachments, the use of indoor gates, external gates. I also have a fenced in backyard for any pets that might end up staying the night.

About: I love dogs and have experience with many dogs of varying ages and breeds. I grew up with golden retrievers, a dachshund, and a variety of rescue dogs and cats. For the past 12 years I had a Great Dane, Harry, who sadly passed away recently. I raised Harry from the time he was 8 weeks old so we went through the puppy stages, the teenage years, and the golden senior years. So, I’ve seen it all as a dog mom chewing, behavior issues, allergic reactions, accidents, illnesses, etc. I’m well equipped to take care of your pet and handle any challenge that may come up. I’ll care for your pet like he/she is a member of my own family- just like I did with Harry for 12 years. We will go for walks, have playtime, snuggle on the couch- whatever they’re into! I’m very organized, timely, and resourceful. I will work with your schedule and follow any instructions you have for your pet, no matter how specific. I do not have any pets of my own right now and have a fenced in yard. I work from home so can spend a lot of time with your pet at my home or drop in at your home as-needed. I work full-time from home so have flexibility with pet care needs throughout the day. I can provide bathroom breaks and feedings as needed throughout the day as well as check-ins. I have a fenced in yard (front and back) for the dog to use, but also have plenty of walkable areas around my house. I have no pets of my own right now. At a client’s home I will follow their instructions for yard usage, walks, etc.

About: I brought our two cats, Chili and Lok-Lok, all the way from China, but I grew up with dogs in my family and love both. I’ve taken care of my family’s and friends’ dogs and I heard about this app so I thought it might be fun to give it a try. Whenever I get called on to dog-sit for my friend here in Pittsburgh I like to go to the dog parks near the South Side river or jog along with them, rain or snow, and socialize with other dogs. Looking forward to meeting yours! I’m a PhD student at the University of Pittsburgh so summer and winter breaks are relatively free, and usually I’m only “working” 2-3 half days per week. I have to do a lot of reading and thinking so getting out of the house is a good way to take a break and process. I have a fenced yard where I do some gardening and let our cats out every day to chase bugs and birds. My friends have stayed over with their dogs and I just move the cats to the second floor and keep them there while the dogs take the first and the yard.

About: I have helped many of my family members train their dogs when they got them from when they were puppies. I am also patient and level headed so if an animal tends to not cooperate, I can find a way to connect with them. I’m currently home for the summer and I work part-time so I have plenty of time for your furry friends! While I’m at school I also I also have time and can drop in and take care of your pups! I have a safe clean home so your pet will enjoy the environment. I have a chain in my yard so that your pet will be safe when outside to use the bathroom. No matter how tall or short your pet is I am able to adjust their food area to the size of their liking.
