About: I am a young professional violinist based in Pittsburgh, and I have spent many breaks home from school dog-sitting around my neighborhood. Whether it‘s walks or giving pets, being around animals brings me so much joy and I would love to keep dog-sitting while I build my career as a musician. As a gigging musician, I have a flexible schedule based around performances, lessons, and auditions. My schedule can vary week to week, but I am almost always squeeze in walks and drop-ins according to my daily availability. My experience with sitting has included home-stays, dropping in multiple times a day, and just going for walks; I am comfortable with all of these options and genuinely enjoy spending quality time with dogs!

About: I grew up around all kinds of animals and love them. I currently have cats, dogs and fish if my own. I am willing to consider overnight stays in your home while you are gone. I would love the chance to stop in and check on your furry family members while you are gone to spend time with them. I have experience pet sitting dogs, cats, fish, hamsters, guinea pigs, bearded dragons and chickens. I work full time during the day but am available in the evenings. If I am close by I may be able to accommodate a drop in visit during my lunch break from work. For my own dog I have a fenced in yard. I also have I door cats in my home. I am willing to consider overnight stays in your home to be able to care for your pets in the comfort of their home to help reduce stress on your pets Familiar surroundings are often calming and important to you and your pet.

About: Only ever existed in a house with puppers. During the pandemic I had 5 animals (some mine, some family members) with me and it was the only thing that kept me sane. I will care for your animal keeping that mentality in mind. I am a Pittsburgh Public teacher and my partner is home during the day. I wake up early to care for my puppers with walks, cuddles, belly rubs, and breakfast. I have a beautiful fence and exciting backyard (meaning sooooo many sniffs.) A doggy door (for my smaller friends) or, if you are more comfortable, can be let in and out as needed. I live on a quiet street perfect for morning and afternoon walks. I have mostly hardwood floors with some area rugs. I do have a beagle named Merle that loves friends.

Abigail did such an amazing job with my Raat (my cat). She followed all my instructions perfectly and sent me lots of photos of him. Raat usually gets sad and lonely when I leave him but after spending time with Abigail he looked so happy and excited. I already booked Abigail again the next time I’m out of town. Would 100% recommend as your petsitter!
First time having Wallis watch our boys and would definitely recommend. We didn’t have the chance to do a meet & greet beforehand, but Wallis was very easy to communicate with. She also reached out a few days prior just to make sure our plans were still on which made me feel more comfortable! Would love to have you back in the future - & hopefully to meet our dog as well!! Jacqueline was amazing! She was very responsive from the first moment we reached out to her about booking, and we even had a meet and greet so our pup could get familiar with her in advance. Our pup has a lot of energy, and she always got creative with ways to give him mental stimulation and exercise — even if it was storming and he couldn’t go outside. She even offered to stay a little longer during visits to keep him company and make sure he was okay when he started having some tummy issues. I appreciate all the updates and photos she sent after each visit, and he always looked happy in every photo. I would highly recommend Jacqueline and would definitely book her again!
Kristin was a joy to work with ! Our 12 year old ‘scardy cat’ (Mia) warmed up to her during the check-ins while we were away. Mia is so attached to her humans, we hated to leave her alone, but Kristin gave us confidence during our meet & greet that Mia would feel cared for. This was our first experience with Kristin, and we found her to be the total Rover package – very communicative, kind, reliable, conscientious, mature, experienced, and accommodating. She clearly has a passion for animals and did not hesitate to do extra things (i.e., making four consecutive visits over three days, picking up our mail, checking on the house, and more). We received immediate text updates and photos to put us at ease, and we are so thankful we found Kristin on Rover ! We highly recommend her and look forward to our next trip away knowing we can count on Kristin to make our Mia comfortable.
Kathleen is always an incredible sitter as always. Punctual, communicative and caring!! She went above and beyond and happened to notice one of our faucets was running and turned it off for us as well when we were out on vacation. Kathleen is always my first ask to watch our pup because of how responsive and helpful she is!!
We were very happy having Mamie (Mary) care for our two cats! She is a great communicator, particularly when it comes to letting you know how it's going with your pets. We have a cat who is recovering from an injury and we could tell from meeting Mamie - and later from her updates - that he was in good, attentive hands! She also had to play hide-and-seek a bit to keep up with our more timid cat, but she caught onto his patterns. We're glad we were able to book her and would highly recommend!
Kristian did a phenomenal job with our little Sheba! She’s just a kitten. We’ve only had her about two months and we had our family vacation planned well before we welcomed her into our family so we were a little bit nervous about leaving her, but then I found Rover online and lead me to Kristian and I’m so glad! She took such good care of Sheba while we were away sending updates and pictures. Such a peace of mind… She even took care of our mail which we did not ask her to do but was very helpful since we didn’t have it in hold.
