I provide the highest level of compassionate care, with a deep understanding of animal behavior and the importance of providing patience and love while caring for animals. I have hands-on experience supporting daily pet care, kennel sanitation, and medication routines. I am trained in administering oral medications, transdermal medications (for cats only), fluids, temperature checks, vaccines, oxygen support, and breathing treatments. I'm currently working part-time, so I have a lot of flexibility and availability for pet care. I am available for overnight pet sitting primarily on weekends. About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and smallies of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for yours. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me plenty of time to walk and play with fur babies. I do have a part time job so I will need to leave occasionally when I am housesitting. I also don't mind commuting to care for an animal. I live in a lovely neighborhood for walking and am also able to drive dogs to nearby parks and hiking trails to play and exercise. I have a cat at home who dislikes other animals so I would only be able to provide care at a client's home.
