About: I live on an acre of land with more than half of it being yard With more than half of it being Space. I am able to create a bond with animals by giving them affection, attention, and treats. For walking appointments, my schedule is flexible between 10 AM and 7 PM But I’m also available to to offer overnight boarding care and check-in. I like to keep them active, playing, and happy so they could have the best experience I have to offer. I also like to keep the clients informed,and send them pictures. She was flexible with drop off, and walked the dog a couple of times in a few hours, which was just what the dog needed after 8 hours in the car. She also took the dog to the local dog park without issue. $72 was a little pricey for 4 hours of daycare, and we didn't get pictures like we expected (I see some were taken, so maybe it was an app issue), but all in all it was basically just what we needed and we're grateful!”

About: I've always enjoyed being around animals, and over the years I've had the chance to care for both dogs and cats for family. I've watched my girlfriend's family's three senior cats (now 15, 14, and 21 years old) several times while they've been out of town, making sure they're fed, have fresh water, and keeping their litter boxes clean. Once the fall semester begins, my internship is on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, while my classes are on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4:00 p.m. I'm also available most evenings and weekends, so I have a very flexible schedule and am happy to work around you and your pet's needs. About: Hi, I am Mamie (I have gone by Mamie since birth but am technically named Mary) and I am a lifelong pet person, and professional sitter. I am relatively new to Rover specifically, but am in my 40's and have cared for other people's pets for over 15 years, both here in Pittsburgh and in Seattle where I am originally from. I am fully privately insured for pet sitting and dog walking and carry broadened property damage coverage, animal bailee coverage and veterinary reimbursement coverage. I do two check ins a day with lots of pictures, and am a quick responder to messages (my average response time is 6 min). My most consistent feedback is that i am very communicative and professional, and that owners feel secure and never worry about their pets well-being when they are with me! My mother was a vet tech and I grew up rescuing many animals, and continued that tradition into adulthood, so I have ample experience in a multitude of pet types and situations I work as a housekeeper around the Pittsburgh area from about 7am-3pm mon-thursday, so will not be available in the home or for potty breaks during those hours. The absolute longest I would leave a pet during a house-sitting is 8 hours on those days, but quite often it's only 4-6 hours that i am working. All other outings/errands would be less than four hours, tops, but usually only about an hour. I am comfortable with more or less any pet, from rodents to lizards and I am not squirmish about even the creepy crawlies and slithery noodles. I can and have given almost every kind of medication there is, including subcutaneous injections, and am comfortable doing so with care and compassion and confidence. I am clean, responsible, and trustworthy. I will only take jobs with a meet and greet beforehand, and you can get a feel for my vibe and professionalism at that time, but I am sure you will like me and feel comfortable having me in your home. As a housekeeper I am used to going into strangers homes and having a high level of integrity and care for their space and belongings. I also am very clean and fastidious. I keep things looking like I wasn't there as much as possible, and will clean litter boxes daily and change water bowls daily and do deep cleans of water fountains 1x a week. I work as a housekeeper from 7am-3pm mon-thursday around the greater Pittsburgh area. If you have multiple dogs who need round the clock supervision and you book me at least three weeks before the sitting start date, than we could work that out and I could block out my housekeeping schedule for that time and just be available for the sitting job (my rates will be increased in this situation as I am priced for my current availability, not constant care and being unable to make my normal wages during the sit). In clients homes I am respectful, clean, tidy, responsible and trustworthy. I mind my business and am not judgemental. I will spend lots of time loving and socializing your pets, and I set alarms and try to keep potty breaks frequent to avoid accidents and less stress.
About: I am a big dog lover and I have grown up around all sorts of animals. I love to hike and will take your dog with me! I also love cuddles, playing fetch, and anything else that your dog likes. I have experience with small and big dogs, as well as other animals. I am happy to meet all of your dogs needs! My pup is an escape artist so I have a dog gate that prevents dogs from getting out of my front door when I open it. If your dog is a puller on leash, I am very used to that! :) I am a big believer in positive training--I am happy to take puppies/dogs that are sensitive/need some extra help warming up. I think that fear-based/negative reinforcement training (things like yelling at dogs/pinning them to the ground--things that trainers still unfortunately do) are very bad and hurtful for dogs. You can assured that your dog will only receive encouragement and pets and treats at my house :) Also, one of my dogs has a disease that requires a daily pill and monthly shot, so I am very familiar with injections and pills. (I take medicine very seriously as I know the consequences can be dire of missing a dose). A little about me: I grew up in Montana and recently moved to Storrs upon graduation with my BA; I am looking to earn a little additional income and spend some time with dogs. I am a graduate student at UConn in the department of economics, currently. My schedule is fairly flexible and allows me to get home often. I am experienced with animals with medical needs, senior pets, I can administer any and all medication, and am not scared of a lengthy specific routine:) I am a brachycephalic dog specialist, so any dog or cat is in good hands with me. I treat every animal like they are my own, so cuddles and attention are to be expected when your pet is in my care. I own a local business, but due to my amazing employees I work 5 hours a week or less. Animals are my life, so a typical day for me revolves around hanging out with my pups and relaxing on our balcony/playing with their toys/going for walks! I live in a big two story home, but have fences at the stairs to prevent any pups going up or down unattended. I do not have a fenced in yard, but my next door neighbor does (they have no kids or pets), and I have full access to that yard. I live in a very walkable neighborhood, and love to push my pups in their stroller in the evenings! If I am staying in your home, I will adhere to any and all restrictions or safety practices you have in place for your pets.

About: I have cared for my own animals my whole life and have just recently said goodbye to my dog of 15 years. Though my family is not ready quite yet for another member, we miss having a dog in the house and would love to help care for yours! I love all animals, but have always had a special place in my heart for dogs. I work full time, but am fortunate enough to have the flexibility to work from home when needed so your furry pals will not go long stretches without love and attention! Our yard is partially fenced, however we have a lead for dogs outside, as well as the equipment and precautions to keep your pets safe if needed like crates, gates, etc. Our two cats are very friendly and good with dogs. They do spend most of their time on the second floor, so your pet would have free rein of our first floor!
