“Lauren was open to a thorough meet and greet prior to watching our two kitties, and she took the biggest weight off our shoulders while we were away. She sent plenty of updates, gave them their favorite treats, and lots of loving and play time. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for loving them like your own! They’ll be excited to see you next time!”

About: I have a deep love for animals especially since I have a 10 year old schnauzer back home in Florida who I miss every day. Being around pets again brings me joy and comfort, and I always strive to give that same feeling back to the animals I care for. I treat every dog like my own; with love, patience, and attention to their unique needs. I also genuinely enjoy walking outdoors, so your pup will always get the exercise and fresh air they deserve. Whether it’s energetic playtime or gentle care for seniors, I’m here to make them feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine! I love going on walks every day, especially in the spring/ summertime. So taking dogs along just makes those moments even better. Since I work as a competitive gymnastics coach in the evenings, my mornings and afternoons are wide open for drop-ins, walks, and quality time with pets. It’s the perfect balance of movement, fresh air, and furry companionship! Whether I’m caring for pets in my client’s home or dropping in for a visit, I focus on making pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable. I take time to bond with each pet through play, cuddles, or just calm companionship. I treat every home with respect and every pet like family, always making sure they’re happy, exercised, and well cared for while you’re away.
“Penny looks forward to Marias visits, it would be an impossible travel without Marias support. Maria is kind, patient, flexible and super communicative. It was a relief to have Maria watch Penny during our long trip.”

“Abby, was so great with our Sailor. She has a friendly, confident and warm way with dogs! Sailor loved her right away when they met. I could tell how excellent her caregiving was as he did all his routines great with her-- a walk, bedtime routine, ate his meals, was calm and great when we got home. He is used to us being around and I hadn't left him for an overnight for some years, so it is all the more impressive that he adjusted so quickly to Abby. Also, we loved getting the detailed updates and pictures! We are so happy we were able to have Abby help us for these couple of days and know Sailor will want to have her back! Thanks for taking care with all our little notes about things, Abby! Hope we can have you back soon!”

“Madison was so nice to work with. She made leaving my furry baby easier knowing she would take good care of him. And she did. I received pictures and updates with every visit she made. Next time I am in need of someone to watch my guy I hope she will be available.”

About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and smallies of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for yours. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me plenty of time to walk and play with fur babies. I do have a part time job so I will need to leave occasionally when I am housesitting. I also don't mind commuting to care for an animal. I live in a lovely neighborhood for walking and am also able to drive dogs to nearby parks and hiking trails to play and exercise. I have a cat at home who dislikes other animals so I would only be able to provide care at a client's home.
“Heather was so kind and upon meeting her, I instantly knew I wouldn’t have to worry while I was gone. She was very communicative and I know my boy had the best treatment.”

“Lara went above and beyond caring for my sweet boys. With an unexpected family emergency and having to leave town abruptly, she was so willing last minute to care for my boys. She was thorough and very informative of how the boys were doing.”

About: I am an artist based in Brookline~Pittsburgh looking to provide care and build relationships with furry friends in my community. My availability is flexible, so let me know what you need. I am conscientious, responsible, and communicative. I am also available for pet-portrait paintings and drawings by commission. I have spent my life with dogs and I know that each one has their unique personalities and needs. My goal is to be a consistent caretaker and companion to your pet. I have dog-sat, cat-sat, and walked professionally and for canine family members and friends. I know dogs and cats are special people who deserve care and companionship tailored to them! My schedule is flexible. I recently chose to change course from many years in retail, organizing and teaching. Impromptu offers are welcome. I'll always accommodate when I can! My home is spacious with many cozy couches and space to play. There's easy access to walks or jogs around the neighborhood, as our entrance is on a backstreet, not the Boulevard. I host with an adaptive approach depending on pets' preferences. I'll tailor their day to day routines to what their used to at home. Including loving attention, dining schedule, medication needs (if relevant), couch time or staying off furniture, frequency and activity level of walks and play, and whatever requests you have to help your dog be comfortable while you're away.

“Natalie took excellent care of our cat Milo while we were away. She was very detailed in her updates and even brought in a package that was delivered in our absence. I will definitely use Natalie again!”
“Ericka took great care of our cats while we were away and took a lot of pictures for us. I could tell our cat Barney had a great time and was in great hands!”

Mount Washington pet parents share their Rover experiences
Kathleen is so great with Lucy, who can be a shy anxious cat. She has been attentive to the specific requests I’ve asked her to report on to give me peace of mind while I’m away. I’m so happy to have found someone Lucy feels happy and safe with. Every day she’s sent me photos of a contented cat!

Tricia has been such a life saver for me and my cats. Shes very reliable- I have pretty detailed instructions and Tricia has always followed on them exactly and provides updates for me. I’ve left my cats for a week or more, and Tricia always relieves my anxiety. I’m very sad to leave her as I’m moving but would highly recommend!!!
AnaBeth did an excellent job watching my cat, Greta. She communicated frequently so I was up to date on how Greta was doing. Every visit included lots of pictures, which I loved! I came home to a happy kitty and a clean home. I will definitely be using AnaBeth for future pet-sitting :)

Disha was absolutely incredible! My wife and I were away for 10 days, and she took amazing care of our cat, Little John, who is truly our pride and joy. She stopped by every day, provided great updates, and gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Disha is reliable, caring, and clearly loves animals. We couldn't have asked for a better experience and would gladly book with her again. Highly recommend!

Maddie was the best at taking care of my cats! They love attention, and Maddie made sure to spend time with them, in addition to giving food and water of course. Maddie also made sure to reach out with a few questions as they came up, which I really appreciated since it showed a genuine desire to give my pets amazing care. I definitely plan on rebooking with Maddie!

This is our second time having Abby care for our two cats while we were away. She did an amazing job! One cat is on daily meds, and Abby is super reliable and communicative. We arrived home to happy and relaxed cats, and we were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing they were in good hands. Thank you Abby!
