About: I’ve taken care of small animals since I was a kid. I was always the student who volunteered to take the class pet home for extended breaks from school. Some of the animals I cared for included leopard geckos, hamsters, and Guinea pigs! I have loved animals ever since 😊 Besides class pets, I grew up babysitting my Aunt’s dog, Oscar, whenever she went on vacation or needed some extra help. I got my first dog when I was 12 and he’s still living with us today. I am offering all services for small to medium sized dogs. She kept me updated constantly and sent pics during the course of my trip to keep me updated. She took him for walks, played with him and made a comfortable environment for him. About: I’ve owned dogs for 30 years, including an English Bulldog and a French Bulldog. I have firsthand experience caring for medically complex, high-maintenance dogs and understand the patience, attention, and consistency they need. After recently losing my Frenchie, I miss being around dogs, but I am not ready to own another one yet. I’d give your dog dependable, attentive care while enjoying their company. I’m retired, so my schedule is flexible. I have plenty of time to give your pets the attention, companionship, and care they need. Pet care will easily fit into my daily and weekly routine. I’m also available during weekdays, when many pet owners are at work. In my home, dogs are family and welcome throughout the house. We have a securely fenced yard and a gated porch for safe outdoor time. I can crate your dog if that is part of their normal routine, or they are welcome to sleep in a bed if preferred.

“This was our first time using Rover and we’re so glad we found Amy! We met with her a couple of weeks before Max’s stay and she quickly put our minds at ease with how kind she is and you can tell how much she truly cares about the dogs she brings into her home. She explained how she would slowly introduce Max to the house and the other dogs which was nice to hear. During his stay we received daily updates and photos showing how our dog was fitting in. We could see he was having a great time! These updates were greatly appreciated. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Max stay with Amy again and would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a place to board their dog.”
