About: I grew up with pets (both cats and dogs) and have always loved being around and caring for animals. I worked as an animal care associate at the Humane Society of Chittenden County in Burlington, VT, where I learned safe handling techniques, gained medical knowledge, and cared for a wide variety of breeds and behavioral cases. I have extensive experience with cats, dogs, and smallies of all shapes and sizes and would love to help care for yours. I have a flexible schedule which leaves me plenty of time to walk and play with fur babies. I do have a part time job so I will need to leave occasionally when I am housesitting. I also don't mind commuting to care for an animal. I live in a lovely neighborhood for walking and am also able to drive dogs to nearby parks and hiking trails to play and exercise. I have a cat at home who dislikes other animals so I would only be able to provide care at a client's home.

About: I have lived with dogs for over 6 years and am very comfortable caring for them in a variety of situations. I currently have a 1-year old Bernedoodle who is very active, energetic, and has a huge personality. I understand the consistency, patience, play, and lots of love they require! I am currently working full time 8am-5pm, but I have consistent availability from 6pm-10pm on weekdays. I’m also available and flexible most weekends and can accommodate a wider range of times depending on your needs. I can also frequently accommodate same day/ last minute bookings! I take safety and responsibility seriously and always aim to provide a calm , consistent and reliable environment for your pets. About: I don’t have much experience with dogs if I’m being honest. The only experience I had with a dog was with a baby pitbull and that was for about a year. That being said, despite my lack of experience I am willing to learn. My love for animals in general is why I am open to learning. I will still provide the same love, care and affection for a dog as I would a cat. My daily and weekly routine is very open for pet care. I am currently on maternity leave so I have lots of availability throughout my days. I treat them like their family and not strangers or “just for the money type of thing”. If the client has special requests as far as how they would want their pet taken care of, I would follow those requests and update the clients along the way.
“Yana is an excellent cat sitter! We asked her to visit our cat Izzy who was recently diagnosed with pancreatitis while we were out of town. We had asked a vet tech to come in to give a series of medications, but wanted someone to visit to give Izzy cuddles and attention. She was great! We got photos and reports every day. We understand that Yana can also do home stays. She met our dogs on a pre-trip visit and seemed great with them, too. Before the end of the long weekend, she got my more timid cat to come out and play with her – that cat never comes out to play with people that aren’t me! It seems like she spends a lot of time getting to know them and making them comfortable. I would highly recommend booking her!
I scheduled Anna for drop-in visits to watch over my cat while I was out of town for a few days. Anna was wonderful! She kept me updated daily with messages and photos. I’m very happy that I chose Ana to provide drop-in visits for my somewhat difficult cat “Pinkee”. It was the first time for drop-in visits and it worked out very well. Ana was very professional, responsible, thorough, attentive and showed great care. She provided daily photos and summaries of her visits.
