“Our dog has stayed with Elisheba and her family multiple times. We greatly appreciate their care and attention. She sends us daily updates while she is with them.”
“I left my puppy for the longest amount I've time we've ever been apart, and she didn't even bat an eye because she had so much fun! She loved all their dogs and looked so happy in every picture update I got. I definitely trust these guys to take great care of your dog.”

“Amir took great care of our dog over the weekend! He was knowledgeable and thoughtful regarding the needs of our dog and made sure that he had the best care and experience. I would definitely recommend Amir to any other pet owners to care for their pets!”

“Karen was very helpful and my dog Dex had a great time when he spent the weekend with her and her family. She sent updates, and pictures of him while i was gone which was great to see. She was also very flexible with pickup and drop off times, and worked with me to arrange the times which was very helpful. Karen is very knowledgeable about dogs and will put effort into making sure that your dog enjoys his vacay. I highly recommend Dog Gone Fun Camp for your dog's vacation.”
“I needed a place to board my dog for a night while my husband and I went to a wedding. Our dog has been to standard daycare facilities but isn't fond of being left alone so we didn't like the idea of her staying in a kennel. Alison was really accommodating and assured us that our sweet girl would get plenty of attention and play time with her own dogs, which is perfect because our girl loves to make friends. We were afraid that she'd have trouble settling in because she's very attached to us, but we were put at ease when Alison sent a picture of our girl sleeping on a comfy couch. They also made sure she had her allergy meds and food. This is exactly the environment and attention our dog needs to be comfortable being away from us for a bit. Thank you so much for watching her!”

“Katie did such a great job watching Reggie while my husband and I were out of town for a few days! We received plenty of updates and could tell he was well taken care of when we picked him up. Will definitely be using Katie again!”

“Katie was outstanding! I know our Bowie had the time of his life staying with Katie, her husband Nick and their 15 month old Winnie! We really hit the Jackpot with choosing Katie to watch Bowie!”

“Sandy did a great job with my Bonnie! I had to contact Sandy last minute during a trip to NC because the hotel I was staying in did not allow pets. Bonnie left with extra treats and toys and did not want to leave when I picked her up. I will use Sandy again if I ever travel through Cincinnati!”

“Our dog had great care with Caleigh! Great backyard for dogs, good communication, and she did everything she could to make our dog feel comfortable while we were away.”

“Finn left Holly’s worn out and with a new best friend! Getting pictures of Finn and Millie together made us feel so happy knowing he was having a good time while we were away. We will definitely be using Holly again!”

“Jenny and her family and dog were wonderful hosts for our dog Gretel. Gretel got walks and affection and seemed very comfortable there. A very responsible and caring host. We will be happy to have Gretel stay with them again.”

“Kiki was great with my dog. This was my first time using Rover and she helped keep me calm. Birdie can be a little hard with tugging and anxiety when she sees other dogs, but Kiki made sure to keep that in mind when taking her out. She also sent me daily updates with pictures and little notes. I’ll definitely be using her in the future!”

“I couldn't be happier with the care my dog received! Patrice was attentive, responsible, and clearly has a genuine love for animals. They kept me updated with messages and photos, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. My dog was relaxed, happy, and clearly well taken care of when I returned. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter. Will definitely be booking again!”

About: **Will wear a mask and sanitize before entering your home if requested.** I have been obsessed with dogs forever, and had a golden retriever for 15 years before she sadly past away in January 2019. I would like a dog of my own but I am not in the financial situation I would want to be in to be able to give my dog the life it deserves so I would relish at the opportunity to help care for yours! I have about 14 months experience working at a Doggy Daycare Center in Columbus that I sadly had to leave to pursue a Master's Degree in England. More recently I was an English teacher in Spain but I sadly had to return to America in March due to the global pandemic. I am more than comfortable watching 100+ dogs with 3-5 other employees and up to 30 dogs on my own. Naturally a home will not have that many dogs so there is nothing I cannot handle. I have experience administering pills via numerous mediums, shots of insulin, bathing, toe nail clipping/using a dremmel, separating dog fights, and the not-so-glamorous bits such as cleaning up every type of bodily fluid a dog can produce. My experience with special needs dogs ranges from a completely deaf Staffordshire Bull Terrier to senior diabetic miniature poodle that needed twice daily injections of insulin. I am in no way biased against any breed of dog and believe that all dogs are good dogs. I have experience with dogs varying from 2lbs. to well over 100lbs. My boyfriend and I are also the parents of two boy ferrets so I have experience with ferrets and feeding franken-raw for obligate carnivorous animals. :) Thank you for taking the time to read my profile and I hope I get to see you and your dog(s) soon!
“Archie absolutely loves going to Alycia! He’s always so well taken care of and loved while he’s with her. He felt completely at home—It gives me such peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands whenever we go out of town.””

“Lisa is an animal whisperer. She took in my 7 month old teacup maltipoo, very last minute, after another sitter had to cancel on me. I am so grateful for her care of Mamae, she gave her a Fourth of July bandana, and introduced her to Lisa’s pups one at a time, which was great socialization for Maemae, who is an only child. Lisa sent me messages and pictures several times a day. Maemae was in puppy heaven playing and “smiling” with all her new friends. Highly recommend Lisa as an educated, skills, pup lover with amazing caretaker skills.”

“I recommend Michelle she was awesome and quick to respond for the booking. She made Carter weekend stay smooth while we were away for my weekend get away. She kept me update about Carter and he seemed very happy to keep him. I will use again in the future 😊”

“Ilaisah & Mario were amazing - we received pics of Finn everyday and it looked like him and Miles were having a blast. They were so accommodating to our late pick up time as well when our flight was way later than expected. Highly recommend them and we will have to set up play dates with Miles in the future!”

“Meghan did a wonderful job with my senior dog. I was nervous to leave her, because I don't do it much, but I definitely felt better knowing she was in Meghan's care. She's very thorough in gathering information to ensure your pup has the best, most comfortable time. I'll definitely be asking her again.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Saint Bernard
Our pups just stayed with Tasha and Joe for the first time and we couldn't be happier. We have a six-month old puppy who had never been boarded and an 11-year old senior dog so we were a bit nervous but we were able to meet Joe and two of their dogs at a park for a meet and greet before their stay, which was put us at ease right away. They kept us updated with photos and messages during the stay, and the pups came home happy (and tired!). We'll definitely book with Tasha and Joe again.

Caleigh was so awesome with watching my pup Moon. She came recommended to me through a coworker and I’m so glad! I got thorough updates with lots of pictures daily. Moon seemed to have a blast and Caleigh treated her with the respect and care as if Moon was Caleigh’s pet. I can’t recommend her enough!

Gio has been a fantastic match for our elderly dog. Gio is reliable, responsible, and communicative. He is our regular daily dog walker, and recently also boarded our dog for the week while we were out of town. We had no concerns and we trusted our dog would be safe and cared for while we were away. He did a fantastic job.

We had a great experience with Shealynn! She took wonderful care of our dog and kept us updated throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. It was clear our dog was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. She was reliable, communicative, and caring. We would absolutely trust her with our dog again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a sitter!

Tricia was very kind and very attentive! She was sure to keep my pups feeling comfortable. My pups got the opportunity to play outside in her backyard and enjoy some fun in the sun and even had a refreshing pool for them. Tricia was very kind and left me very informative updates about how my pups were doing. They stayed overnight and I really appreciate the care that Trisha took.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
