Jen & Rob took such great care of my dog for day care weekly. He always came home happy, healthy, and exhausted (thank god, he is a high energy Aussie and needed to expel that energy!). Thank you, Jen & Rob for being a safe place for me to bring my dog!

Paige was absolutely amazing! From the moment we dropped off our pup, we felt confident that she was in great hands. Paige has a wonderful, open space where the dogs can safely run and play, and she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. It gave us such peace of mind to see how happy and well cared for our dog was. We’re so pleased with the experience that we’ve already booked with her again. We highly recommend Paige to anyone looking for a trustworthy and loving sitter!

About: Hi my name is Patrice. I'm a veterinary technician who loves being with animals even outside of my normal work day. If I could I would adopt a million pets but unfortunately that's not an option. I take pride in being able to help care for pets outside of my own. There's nothing more fulfilling than being able to play with fur babies when the owners cannot do so because of work. I am able to provide exercise time, medication administration, ear cleaning, and basic grooming. If you are in need of any of the above services feel free to reach out to me. I would love to get to know you and your fur babies and develop a life long bond. Pet care fits into my daily routine perfectly. I'm always with pets even in my dreams. Rather I am walking pets or meeting up for grooming appointments, I'm always with pets. I get a background of the pets home life and mimic that while they are with me. Routine works best with most pets. When you switch up what they are used to they do not do well.

About: I’ve taken care of pets for family and friends for as long as I can remember. I love going on walks and seeing new parts of the city and would love to have a companion on my adventures. Our family dog passed a little over a year ago and I miss having a pet in my life even if just for a quick 20 minute walk. I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am currently on summer break from work and would love to take care of your pet in my free time. My schedule is fairly open and flexible. I have a fenced in yard in a quiet neighborhood and own a crate if needed for their comfort. I foster dogs so I have raised food and water dishes, a bed, and other essentials to make their stay comfortable.

About: Hello! I’m excited to meet your furry babies! I’ve had the joy of rescuing 15 dogs and 10 cats throughout my life. My family has banned me from volunteering at the shelter after I foster failed our three rescue pitties, all from Cincinnati Animal CARE. Currently, my home includes our three dogs, two cats, and a bearded dragon. My consulting business (nonprofit leadership and management) allows me to work from home and enjoy a flexible schedule. As a new empty nester, I have free time that I'd love to fill caring for your babies. I have experience caring for pets of all ages— from playful puppies and kittens to loving seniors. I can assist with everything from potty training and medication administration to wound care. As a responsible professional and avid pet lover, I promise to treat your pets as if they were my own! 🐶🐱 I work from home and am available 24/7 to care for your pets. With dogs of our own, our routine is perfectly set up for all potty, feeding, playing, and sleeping needs. In our house, pets reign supreme! I have a fenced yard and three friendly and playful dogs who will keep your pup company. I'm happiest when I have a dog snuggling next to me on the couch or a cat on my lap, and your pets will be well loved.

About: Dear Pet Parents, I absolutely love animals — especially dogs! From tiny Pomeranians to giant Great Danes, I adore the kisses, cuddles, and happy tail wags. I share my home with several dogs of different breeds and personalities, as well as two cats, so I’m very experienced in managing different temperaments, energy levels, and routines. Because of this, I understand how important structure, supervision, and safety are when caring for pets. As a proud dog owner myself, I truly know that pets are not “just animals” — they are family. I will treat your fur baby like one of my own. Your pet will be loved, spoiled, and cared for in a safe, structured environment. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone. I promise to earn that trust. I provide regular updates, photos, and open communication so you can feel completely comfortable while you’re away. Please feel free to message me with any specific instructions, routines, or special needs your pup (or kitty!) may have — I’m always happy to accommodate. Looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby! 😊 Pet care is already part of my daily routine since I care for multiple dogs and two cats of my own. My day is structured around feeding schedules, potty breaks, enrichment time, and supervised play. Because of this, adding your pet into my routine is seamless and intentional. I prioritize consistency, supervision, and maintaining your pet’s normal schedule as closely as possible to reduce stress. I’m available for boarding, drop-ins, and walks, and I provide frequent updates so you always feel connected while you’re away. Safety is my top priority. I have experience managing a multi-pet household with different breeds, sizes, and temperaments. Pets are always supervised, especially during introductions and playtime. I can separate animals if needed and am comfortable crating when requested for rest or safety. I follow feeding instructions carefully and keep environments clean and structured. I pay close attention to body language to ensure all pets are comfortable and stress-free. Your pet will be treated like family while in my care.

I have a spacious house for pet sitting as well as a nice fenced-in back yard to accommodate the sun bathing best boys(and girls) 😎

About: Hello! I’m a Part-Time working Momma and we love animals! I have grown to enjoy dogs mostly. I’ve had a pet dog for a great amount of my life as well as other animals like rabbits, fish and snakes! Size or age doesn't matter, they are all fun. I love their energy and seeing how they interact with loved ones. I frequently help out family members with their dogs which includes bathing, walking, picking up their food and medicine. Taking trips or “car rides” are also a fav’ we partake in. Dogs are truly a pleasure to have and I would love the opportunity to provide care to your fur baby! I have open availability now and have one kiddo! We are up pretty early for school/sports and events so I am pretty flexible with boarding/scheduling! I have a fenced in backyard with lots of space to run and play. I also have a finished basement for those that are potty trained.

About: Long story short, I love dogs. I've always had dogs, right after college ended I got a pooch of my own. Animals are my passion, and I spent 6 years working at the zoo. During my time there the head keeper in my department took notice of the extra time and effort I was putting into working with the animals and made arrangements to add me to our animal care teams, which allowed me free access to come in and work with animals in my off hours. I'm tidy and will clean up any messes they make. I have a flexible schedule and am willing to come extra if necessary. I'm available on short notice if necessary. I grew up with big dogs so no size dog will turn me away! I have one dog at home in my new apartment! He receives two meals, at least one walk/play session, and 3-5 bathroom breaks a day! During my free time I volunteer at the zoo! I have experience with a wide variety of dogs and other animals. I am able to adapt the type of care I give to each dog. For example, for a while, I was sitting an 80 pound lab named Azlan, who had hyperactivity issues. I understood that we needed to pack as much work as possible into our time to get the most value for my client. At the same time I was sitting a 10 pound puppy Leo. With Leo I worked on reinforcing the training they were working on with him, focused on taking him out right away when I got there and right before I left, and when we had extra time, I would just play with him to get some energy out. When at my home, your dog will receive top-notch care from me, assisted by my girlfriend, who is a fellow pet lover! You will get daily updates with pictures and videos, and I’m willing to be flexible to meet the needs of you and your pet!

About: I’ve been around and cared for animals for over 20 years and truly enjoy being around them. I’m patient, attentive, and comfortable with different personalities — from energetic pups to more anxious or senior pets. I offer walks, drop-in visits, and boarding in my home. I do have a cat, and he is used to being around dogs, but I always prioritize safety and comfort for everyone. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal like they’re part of the family. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I work from home and structure my schedule intentionally, so I’m able to provide consistent walks, feeding times, and attention throughout the day. I’m available for morning, midday, and evening walks or drop-ins, and when boarding, pets are rarely left alone for long periods. I value routine and make sure each pet’s normal schedule is maintained to help them feel comfortable and secure. I live in a safe, walkable neighborhood with my son (7 YO) and our cat, Toto. While our backyard is not fenced, dogs are always leashed for outdoor time and walks. We have great sidewalks and a quiet area that’s ideal for daily exercise. Inside the home, I provide a calm and supervised environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s comfort level and always prioritize safety, clear communication with owners, and following specific care instructions. I’m also happy to schedule meet-and-greets beforehand to ensure everyone feels confident.

About: Early 40’s year old sitter/walker with car. You could say I have 40+ years of experience. My family had a German Shepherd from before I was born and I was very close to her. There has been a stream of pets in my family. Including so so so many cats in NYC. Even going so far as to “rescue” a half feral one. Currently, I share ownership of a dog. As a small business owner of over 10 years, I am able to have a flexible schedule and spend more time hanging out with your pet(s). That said, I have a lot of experience managing other people, and I do have high expectations for clear communication from clients. I have never had a complaint from clients that already have human children. I am very clear about the kind of care I offer. For example, I clearly state I can do 4-8 hrs for letting out. That does not mean that when I get to the sit, you tell me you expect every hour. I also do not cancel other bookings so that you can be the sole client. I have been through that, obliged, and the client was still dissatisfied. I am running a business and the new owner of this app runs on harsh algorithms that hide you in search. Let’s try to be better and more human, than conforming to private equity and their bottom line. For the fur babies, I can follow their diet and pet or play or brush their hair. As long as you give me a list or schedule, I'll do my best to provide it. I have extensive experience with pets at all stages of life. (As well as other kinds of pets which I am open to caring for.) I understand the care required for a wide variety of needs and can do my best to provide reinforcement on current training, but I am not going to be attuned right off the jump to the nuances noticed by your trainer or you... I can reinforce sit, lay down, paw, stay, heel, rollover, or anything else. I can administer medicine. I am not formally trained in pet CPR, but I am trained in human CPR and have looked at videos for pet CPR. When I was younger I worked as a lifeguard, and have a remarkable natural ability to stay calm and act fast in crisis situations. This comes in handy, for example: when protecting my maltipoo from other dogs, managing territorial behavior, or keeping one dog out of another dog’s bowl. My schedule is flexible and I have a car. I have a small business and partial responsibility of my dog, so I do need to be able to run errands, go to meetings, or check in at home to keep that part of my life running. For extended care, and distance further than 5 miles, I prefer be given the option to stay over at clients for the sake of gas costs, time, and energy. First meeting and approach are important to setting a precedent, I first see if the pet will approach me. I like to offer my hand palm down for them to smell. Sometimes it takes a few times smelling the hand before they feel comfortable letting me pet them. In my opinion it’s important not to mess up first impressions with the pet. Spending time together builds familiarity bonds, being attentive builds trust. It’s important to build rapport.

Rachelle is awesome! She really cares for my dogs needs and knows how to handle her reactivity to other dogs. She read the long list I gave her of info on our dog and sent multiple updates during the day. And she was able to handle my dogs quirky behavior really well (a mini dachshund). I really recommend Rachelle if you want ur dog to have more individualized care than just a boarding kennel. And Rachelle is really nice as well. I’ll be coming back for sure when we go out of town!

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Saint Bernard

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Saint Bernard on Rover is $27.75 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 543 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Saint Bernard. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Saint Bernard commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 543 sitters in Saint Bernard, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
