“I cannot think of a single critique. Shawn took amazing care of our two cats and we will hire him again in a heartbeat. They were calm and well-fed when we got home, everything of theirs was properly cleaned. Shawn was exceptionally responsive even to our (and our cats') very specific and detailed instructions. We cannot thank you enough, Shawn!!”

It really gave us peace of mind knowing they were in such good hands. Thank you, Claudia, for treating our cats and our home with such care!”

“It was very lucky to have found Brynne to look after my senior cat for almost a month. Brynne treated my fur baby like her own precious baby. She was caring, conscientious, mindful, always on time, responsive, funny, communicative and I could go on with the superlatives. I want to gatekeep her but everyone should know what a great caretaker she is. Very happy to have found Brynne and will continue to use her exclusively when available since my kitty has special needs. Forever grateful 🙏”

About: Like many sitters on Rover, I am a lifelong animal lover and longtime animal owner! My family has never been without a cat in the house, each with their own unique personality. I was a regular volunteer in animal shelter/rescue settings with dogs, cats, and rodents throughout high school and college, where my undergraduate degree in Animal Biology placed a strong emphasis on animal welfare. Post-college I spent 3 years working professionally in a wildlife hospital, caring for orphaned and injured mammals, birds, and reptiles. Consequently, I am very comfortable interacting with domestic animals and exotics of many shapes, sizes, and personalities. During the summer, I work irregular hours from home. During the rest of the year, I work full-time Monday-Friday with some schedule flexibility, and my Rover radius is set to allow me to accommodate walks and drop-ins during or after my work day. Generally, I am available weekends, evenings, and holidays with consistency, and can do weekday morning or afternoon visits on a periodic or occasional basis. Please check my calendar and/or message me for specific availability! When providing care for your pet in your home, my goal is to maintain your pet's typical environment and routine - it can be stressful to have an unknown human in their home! I appreciate getting as much information as possible about your pet's personality, preferences, and habits, so that disruption to their routine is minimal and they feel comfortable and safe during their time with me.

About: Love dogs all kind. First I pet seat my friend’s dogs when they were away. Then I got my own dog. Alaska is a 34 lbs pomsky. She is very playful and would like a company. I can take your dog to a dog park or the dog beach. Both of those amenities are next to my house. Moreover I have small fenced yard for playing with bunch of balls.I work from home , so have a lot free time to pet sit fur babies and take them for plenty of walks. If you are away for a short trip, book your pet a bed and breakfast inn in my house. I will take care of your furry friend either at my house or yours. Currently work from home. Very flexible. However prefer drop offs and pick ups in mornings. If pick up after 3 pm addition charge may apply I have fenced yard where. I can let dogs out for quick pee and play if needed. However I take them on walks at least 2 times a day. If good weather, I may take them to the dog park or rye beach

About: I’ve always been surrounded by furry friends! I grew up with two small Yorkshire Terriers, and for the past 7 years, my family has had a sweet terrier mix who I absolutely adore. Over the years, I’ve also helped care for neighbors’ pets and loved every minute of it. Now that I work remotely and spend most of my day at home, I’d love the chance to take a walking break with your dog or stop by to check on your cat. If needed, I’m happy to bring my laptop and work from your place for a while to keep your pet company while still getting things done. I’d love to help make your pet feel loved and cared for! Since starting a remote job, I'm able to leave my desk at home for a bit and drive to wherever I need to go to care for your pet. I'm available M-F during the day to check in, and I'm pretty flexible with time as I have minimal meetings throughout the day. I will treat your home with the utmost respect. I want everything to stay exactly the same as how you left it that morning. I realize it's a big ask to let a stranger in your home while you are not there, but you can have your trust in me that I will put all of my focus on your pet, and make my way back home as soon as my job is done.

“Jamie took such great care of our dog Cokie. I only wish we lived closer to Jamie to continue having be part of our puppies life! She is so skilled with Animals (works at a Vet's office) Has great instincts about dogs and is so bright and thoughtful. Jamie is a gem and you are lucky to have the opportunity to work with her in the Westchester area. Thank you Jamie and Rover too for connecting us.”

About: I’ve been walking and taking care of dogs since I was 15 and have loved every moment of it. I see dogs more as family then as pets, hence why then should be taken up with good care. I am a college student at a local university and have a flexible schedule. I am also a junior manager at a facility on the weekends. I understand how important it is to allow your pet to be left with someone you trust and can rely on, I am hoping to be that person for you and your pet!
