“I was so fortunate to have found Anastasiia to watch our dog Axel when we traveled to Europe. We had booked a sitter who cancelled - leaving us with very little time to find another over the holiday season. We had Anastasiia was reasonably priced compared to some of the other sitters available (watch out for price gouging during the holidays). I had booked someone who was less expensive but when we did the meet and great, I saw that they were using Rover to run a kennel: 10 dogs kept in an 8x6 garage - with no one home! I took a chance on Anastasiia because she is new to Rover. When I met her in her home, I could tell right away that Axel would be in good hands! The home is charming and so was Anastasiia's partner :-). During Axel's stay he got to go to the park and play and even got to go on a hike. Anastasiia asked me if it was ok to take him and how he was in the car. The pictures of their adventure made me smile :-). I was sent lots of pictures during Axel's stay - most either playing or lounging lol Axel was in good spirits when we picked him up. I felt comfortable and confident that my family member was being given good care while we were overseas. I highly recommend.”

About: I am an animal lover through and through! I’ve been taking care of many different types of dogs and cats since as long as I can remember. I am comfortable around all dogs and cats, and I am more than willing to adapt and learn how to best care for your animal in particular. When I come to care for, play with, and walk your pet, I will dedicate my time to truly loving them. I have experience staying at owners houses to take exceptional full-time care of their pets, and I also have experience keeping pets in my home! I have practiced basic animal training such as teaching dogs and cats to sit, stay, and shake. I truly adore animals and I will enjoy every minute of caring for your fur-babies! I am currently an Elementary Education student at the University of Connecticut, but I have tons of free time to take care of pets, whether that be for drop-ins or for more personal care in my home! Currently I am available full-time and I can accept last minute bookings. While dropping in to care for your pets, I will of course be incredibly respectful of your space, going only in the rooms I am allowed and touching only the items needed to care for your animals :) To care for animals in my own apartment, I have made sure that potentially hazardous items (small items, food, plants, etc.) are all put away/placed at a height that dogs and cats cannot reach. While I do not have a fenced yard, there are several parks around my apartment where I can consistently take your dog out on long walks. In my home, animals are also allowed on beds and couches! About: I have grown up around dogs my entire life and I couldn’t imagine it any other way. Spending time with animals is my happy place and nothing brings me more joy than caring for and playing with them. I have a great deal of experience taking care of many dogs of various breeds and sizes. Kevin was enthusiastic & held the reins well, in acting as a surrogate for me, in the care of my lil Pup, who I adore! When I picked him up from his overnight stay… he returned happy, healthy & safe & sound! I also loved the pics he sent me. If needed again in the future, Kevin would be my “go to” caretaker for my Pup!
Judith and her family were wonderful with my Teddy. 🧸 They were responsive to his particular needs and invited him into their family with love. Their own dog Cali is very sweet, too, and I was happy that the two dogs got along right away. Their back yard is huge so Teddy got plenty of exercise running around. I would recommend Judith highly and I plan to book with her again.
I am very happy with Atilio & Silvia's family and how they care for and about my dogs. They are careful with their feeding and prescriptions - and have fun with the dogs. I got pictures and feedback daily and my dogs always looks very relaxed. I will defininately use them whenever I travel, with confidence and pleasure! JJ boarded our kitten, Lilo, for a week and it was such a great experience! I know boarding a cat can feel a bit unconventional, but Lilo really thrives on human interaction, so this was the perfect fit for him. JJ kept us updated with pictures and videos every day, which made us feel so comfortable while we were away. It was clear Lilo was well cared for and happy. We would definitely use JJ again!
Sarah was super friendly and available on short notice, which we really appreciated. We recently moved to the U.S., so our dog is still adjusting to all the new surroundings and changes.
