About: I have been taking care of dogs and cats since I was a kid. I grew up around all types of dogs from dachshund to labs and have a 3 year old Shepard mix and 3 cats who are 6, 12, and 17. I use to house sit and walk dogs in college during the summers at Ole Miss and really enjoyed spending spending time with animals. I currently work from home so my schedule is very flexible for taking dogs out for walks anytime during the day or for just a check up and play/potty break. I have a fenced in yard and a kennel if needed. I can make sure your animals are fed/hydrated and are able to go outside whenever they need to go out.

About: Had to make new account *** Hi, my name is Carson! I have been dog sitting for 10 years now. In high school I worked at Sidle Hill Farms (Dog boarding) in Southhaven, MS. I then gained clients and have been pet sitting from my home and others ever since. I have always dreamed of opening my own dog boarding and then remember I won't even take my own dog to be boarded! That is why I do what I do now, to nurture to love and to calm your pets nerves. I understand that it can be sometimes even more nerve racking for the owner then the pet... I am that owner! My husband Alex and I live in Oakland, Tn with a gorgeous fenced in yard as pictured. I work from home and usually never leave the house unless I go to Walmart up the street. We do not have any children and do not plan on it anytime soon! We are totally content with fur babies for now! A typical day at our home for your pet would include waking up in our bed, breakfast, mornings outside pending on weather (I have an outdoor desk), playing with millions of toys we can't seem to stop buying and of course when Alex comes home a walk around the neighborhood. We can't wait to meet you and your sweet fur baby! Dogs and cats are my whole life I care for them just as children. I love exercise and getting outside so pet care has come as a joy to me not just a chore. Dog walking, bathing, playing, co sleeping, cooking for pets if needed, taking them to groomers ect.. I am available to your pets needs as well as yours!

About: I love animals from raising my own dogs and cats, to taking care of family and friend’s, I’ve done it all. I look forward to making new fur friends! 🐶🐱 I am an independent contractor so I am flexible. I can work from home if needed. My office is only 5 minutes away so I can easily swing by if boarding and need to let out or give medicine. I have a fenced backyard with plenty of space to run around in, a spare crate if needed (large enough to fit a 90 pound Doberman), treats, bedding, pet friendly shampoo, etc.. Let me know what would make your fur baby the most comfortable!

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life! Currently I do not have my own dog, but I have 3 grand pups that I watch regularly! Fitz and Poppy are brother and sister golden doodles (age 4 and 1) and Chonk is a Great Pyrenees / Labrador mix (age 1). I’ve watched them since they were puppies. In addition to owning and watching dogs, I partnered with my daughter in opening her Dog Park Bar - Ruff Canine Club - in Richmond Virginia for a year and a half - helping her to open the facility and then worked as a manager to get them up and running. During my tenure there, I dealt with a variety of dogs and temperaments. Not having a dog currently (ours crossed the rainbow bridge a few years ago) has allowed me the joy of watching my grandpups - and now want to provide that same loving, trustworthy service to other dogs and their humans. I currently work remotely part-time doing embroidery design work with no set hours, so my schedule is very flexible and can accommodate a variety of dog owners’ schedules. When I am watching my kids’ dogs, we keep a routine. Mornings are at least a one mile walk, followed by ball toss and fetch time in our fenced in back yard. We do have a pool, and the dogs are not allowed out unless I go out with them. During the day, there are periods of play and rest time and another mile walk in the evening. I have gates set up in the kitchen for when I have to run an errand (but I know I can leave them as they are used to it). Initially I would do drop-in visits and walking, and once a trusting relationship is formed, I would welcome in-home stays - either at my home or yours.

“Has pet sit for me several times (30+) over the last 6 years. I travel down for work and sometimes need just a day and other times a couple of weeks at a time. Adrian genuinely loves dogs and goes above and beyond. I generally only ask for the minimum but he always spoils spoils them and loves them. Highly recommend him to anyone. I know him personally and is highly trustworthy (which is hard to find these days, especially in Memphis).”

Heather H.

“This was our first time using Rover and Heather and we are very happy with the drop in visit. We received updates and pictures during Heathers visit. Well worth the cost.”

Dee M.
“Dee was great with my two golden doodles! They stayed several nights with her and she took them on long walks at a nearby park and sent tons of photos and updates, which I really appreciated. One of my dogs had an ear infection at the time and she was fantastic administering the medicine he needed. Will definitely book again!”

Sydney W.

“I loved getting an update and pictures of my girl!”

Sarah S.
“THE best! And even for pet pigs!!! Sarah S is an animal aficionado & responsible to boot. I would always trust her with my babies!”

Michael W.
“Michael (Brad) will be your dog's best buddy when you are away. He is very much a "dog person" and connects with dogs of any size and age. He is always our first-choice dog watcher whenever we need one. Brad is very responsible and will provide a safe, loving and fun experience for your pup. He is also great at communication, and you can expect to receive multiple updates from your fur baby while in Brad's care!”

Renee R.

“She did great. Dogs love her.”

Wesli H.
“I highly recommend Wesli. She does a phenomenal job with our 3 dogs. She played with our dogs and loved on them, and she sent lots of updates with pictures. She is easy to work with and great at communication. We will definitely use her again!”

Haley T.
“Haley is hands down the most extraordinary pet caregiver on this planet—maybe even the galaxy. My dog cried tears of joy when she arrived. Birds chirp louder, and flowers bloom brighter in her presence. She doesn’t walk dogs—she glides them into happiness. If Haley ran for president of pets, every animal would vote for her. Trust me, she’s a pet whisperer, a fur angel, a tail-wagging legend!”

Hadeel A.

“Will book her again very responsible and took care of my pet!”

Harry & Courtney B.
“Harry is one of the most dog-loving people I know. He has done very well with all five of my family’s dogs and friends’ dogs which range from less than 10 pounds to 100 pounds. His previous work commitments are the only thing that have prevented him from owning a dog of his own. I would very much trust him with the responsibilities that come with this job. He would be a reliable, trustworthy companion for a dog on Rover.”
