About: I've dog sat for friends from time to time. I have never had my own dog, due to moving internationally so many times as a military family. However, I've always enjoyed other people's dogs of all breeds, temperaments, and sizes. I have a lot of experience caring for people which has resulted in me possessing the patience, tact, and empathy necessary for interacting with animals, as well. I have recently resigned from my toxic and stressful government job and am available for any and all opportunities for drop-in pet care and dog walking that do not conflict with commitments to my kids' events. I will care for pets in their owner's homes, with respect for the owner's property and privacy as well as respect for the pet's space and temperament. I will follow directions and meet any special requests for drop-in visits or walks. I am more than capable and willing to play with, exercise, brush, bathe, medicate, feed, and clean up after your pet according to your specifications. I've cared for many human children in many different and even challenging scenarios, for many parents, without incident. I have been a certified lifeguard, water safety instructor, and child passenger safety technician. Safety and trust are very important to me and I want you and your pet to feel very comfortable with me when it comes to those things.

About: From my experience in shelter care and veterinary medicine, I am very comfortable with caring for dogs of all sizes, ages, and medical needs. I have dealt with strays and owned pets from every imaginable background, and I believe every animal is worthy of patience, respect, and affection. I’m currently unemployed so I have a very open schedule for watching your dogs and cats! I typically let my own dogs out about 4-5 times a day, and they each have their own feeding schedule that I attend to as needed. I am very flexible right now, and would also be available to do fluids, injections, and other specific medical and behavioral needs (e.g., extra walks, extra play time, etc.). I have a fenced in yard and three friendly dogs, and two sweet cats, to keep your furbaby company. I am comfortable crating dogs and have an extra crate for a small-medium dog. One of my dogs is a senior dog with special needs, so I am perfectly comfortable housing and caring for dogs who have their own special needs. I also have a dog with epilepsy so I am very used to dealing with seizures and the safety precautions that go along with them. These dogs have also never met a stranger, and our home is an overall very welcoming environment to all creatures (I even have a pet spider!).

I also made quite a few animal friends as a Caregiver! About: My name is Leanna. I’ve had pets (big and small) my entire life and for the past 2 years, I’ve been caring for others in addition to my own.
