I adopted my German Shepherd when he was about 6 months old. I was told he would need obedience training. Instead, I spent a lot of time learning, practicing, and working with him myself. He’s now able to sit and stay while I throw his ball and then wait for his release command before running after it. That took patience, consistency, and a lot of trust-building. Training my pupper taught me so much about working with dogs. I’m comfortable with pets who have big personalities, lots of energy, anxiety, quirks, or just need a little extra patience. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, respect your pet’s routine, and care for them like they are my own. I’m currently working occasional shifts, which gives me excellent availability for pet care. My schedule is flexible, and I’m happy to work with your pet’s routine whenever possible. Safety always comes first for me. I’m the type of person who will double and triple check important details, such as doors, gates, leashes, food instructions, and anything else needed to keep your pet safe. I take pride in creating a calm, safe environment for my own pets, and I would do the same for any pet in my care. Trust is a big part of letting someone care for your animals. Because of this, I am prompt, reliable, careful, and respectful of your home and your pet’s routine.
About: I have walked dogs since I was 15 for friends and family. I'm very patient, love walking and playing with dogs, and appreciate each dog's personality. I have experience caring for my kitty that had cancer, including providing subcutaneous fluids, medications/fluids/food through a feeding tube, and administering liquid, capsule, tablet, and transdermal medications. He was so happy and seemed honored to take care of her while I was out of town. We did eventually speak on the phone right as she was about to be dropped off, (because I had to have someone take her there for me) but she was already locked in before we even knew each other. He sent videos, played with her, and even checked with me if it was ok if another dog was there!?!?! I was so relieved that he was that inviting and transparent. Of course my girl had a wonderful time and slept all night without even playing with her sister much. Her sister was with me. In short, if your using any other “boarding” overnight or having them put in some kennel with 100 other dogs, your prize best friend and family member is missing out on the best care they can get! It would be like dropping your child off at the Walmart for the weekend rather than sending them to the Four Seasons with a full secret service detail! Grayson is amazing and on point! Won’t even consider anyone else! If he is busy, I just won’t leave town! Thank you sooooo much Grayson for taking care of my whole world!!! And I’m sorry again for being late. 😐”
