Availability

As of July 19, 2024, I will be working from home to allow more availability to my current fur baby clients and their families along with any new families that may need me to come to their home to house sit, do drop-in visits or dog walks. I care for dogs in the mornings, early afternoons, and evenings. My daughters and I have been working to build our dog business for over 3 years and have numerous families we continue to work with since the beginning. Due to our large growth, we are currently only able to serve our current clients in our home. However, we are still accepting new clients for house sitting. I have cared for all sizes, breeds, and ages. We love all the dogs we encounter, care for, and look forward to helping you and your fur babies. Your dog will be loved, nurtured and well-tended to in my care. While house sitting, I can either stay at clients' homes or just come by for a few hours at a time, whichever works best for clients needs.

Safety, trust & environment

Since our move in December 2024, we no longer have a fenced in backyard. We have put in a runner with 10 feet cord for dogs to be able to play outside in the backyard with us without the dangers of getting outside of the yard. We do now have a large space inside for them to play and rest. I currently have no pets of my own but have 3 daughters, above the ages of 8, that absolutely love dogs and all animals.

Home

Lives in a house

Information Jaclyn P. would like to know about your pet

If your dog takes medication(s), is scared of storms, needs a thunder jacket, scared of loud noises or fireworks, or has a high level of anxiety, due to separation and or something else, please advise during the meet and greet. I have 3 children and safety for them, and your fur baby is always my number one concern. Also, if there are any food allergies, this is very important to report. All dogs are required to be up-to-date on vaccinations. PLEASE, do not be deceptive about your dog. If he or she is aggressive towards other dogs/animals, becomes aggressive when separated from family, or will destroy property, this needs to be reported at the meet and greet. It puts me, my children, and other pets in danger. Just as your pets are part of your family so are everyone else's. If you are dishonest about their behaviors, it puts everyone at risk.

A typical day

The dogs we have kept love to go on walks, play ball/fetch, and run around the yard with toys. My girls love to play tug-of-war with them and roll around in the floor with them. We make sure they have plenty of water and food after playing along with activity before bed in order to rest well. Our smaller dogs enjoy going to stores with us and being carried around to be loved on. Most of our regular fur babies also love car rides.

Pet care experience

I have had a dog since I was 3 years old. I love dogs and house trained 2 of my own. I have been boarding dogs in my home for the past 3 and 1/2 years along with housing sitting at clients' homes. I have kept dogs from as young as 8 weeks to as old as 16 years old. I have administered medications and injections. I have helped with potty trained and leash training.

Jaclyn is phenomenal! I highly recommend her and will be booking with her again. She was great at communicating and my dog loved her. My dog is very shy, and Jaclyn was very patient with her!

As always, she takes amazing care of my dog, Corduroy. He is a rescue, so I really appreciate that she has experience with rescues and I think it makes a big difference for Corduroy.
