About: I have worked part time at Healing Paws Animal Hospital for 3.5 years now so I have great experience with every kind of dog: Chihuahua to Great Dane, shy to energetic, delicate post surgery, to jumping all over me! I have experience dog and house sitting for friends and family since 15 years old, and I love to meet new dogs and cats. I have 3 dogs at home that I take care of, and I have no pets in Starkville with me while at college. I work full time for the summer at the clinic Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday from 7-1 and 2-6, leaving me time to walk, feed, and love on your dog in the morning, afternoon, and at night. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life! Currently I do not have my own dog, but I have 3 grand pups that I watch regularly! I currently work remotely part-time doing embroidery design work with no set hours, so my schedule is very flexible and can accommodate a variety of dog owners’ schedules. When I am watching my kids’ dogs, we keep a routine. Mornings are at least a one mile walk, followed by ball toss and fetch time in our fenced in back yard. We do have a pool, and the dogs are not allowed out unless I go out with them. During the day, there are periods of play and rest time and another mile walk in the evening. I have gates set up in the kitchen for when I have to run an errand (but I know I can leave them as they are used to it). Initially I would do drop-in visits and walking, and once a trusting relationship is formed, I would welcome in-home stays - either at my home or yours.
