After moving to northwest Mississippi in August 2020, we decided to continue offering our boarding and pet care services because of how much we enjoy it. In addition to playing with dogs, I have a part-time position in my home, which enables me to give each of our canine guests plenty of attention. My husband works full-time from home and is always available as a backup in case I have to run off to an appointment. Also living in our home are our two young adult daughters, Beth & Rachel. We are all dog lovers who also happen to be "dog-wise". Our own dogs are friendly and well-behaved and enjoy having fur-friends come to visit. Admittedly, we do have a good amount of dogs, but we have established a great routine and, if our fur-guest isn't too sure at first, we have plenty of options in keeping dogs separated until our fur-guest feels comfortable and happy. We have a considerable amount of experience at pairing dogs in appropriate play groups according to size, temperament and activity level. Our home is situated on nearly 2 acres with about a half-acre securely fenced for dogs to play in. Our active guests will have tons of fun outside playing with each other and chasing squirrels, in addition to spending a large portion of the day and all night relaxing inside our home. Our more sedentary guests have plenty of laps, couch space, and dog beds to laze around on. While crates are a useful tool for keeping dogs comfortable and safe, especially during the brief periods nobody is home, rest assured your sweet babies will not be locked in a crate for long periods. We also have extensive experience with many types of animals, such as chickens, goats, donkeys and horses and offer drop-in visits, where we come to your home to feed, exercise, and interact with your pet(s) and/or farm animals. Our fee is "per visit" and is the same regardless of the number of pets/animals. Additionally, I offer house sitting on a case-by-case basis where I spend nights at your home. Again, our "per night" fee is the same regardless of the number and type of pets/animals in your home or on your property. However, a premium may be assessed if the care of livestock is fairly substantial. Currently, we are only serving the areas of Holly Springs, Byhalia, and Red Banks for drop-in visits but are available to drive longer distances for house sitting. Our weekends are typically not very busy, but there are 4 of us available to love and care for your pet. We begin each day with a quick stretch of the legs and a potty break followed by breakfast then playtime outside. “Melissa and Dustin went above and beyond for our babies Lupe and Paco. So much so that I was nervous our pups wouldn’t want to come back home. They were so loving and attentive to our pups and really saw them and appreciated them ! We received daily updates and photos on play food bathrooms and cuddles and even when Lupes paw was irritated Melissa put cream and cleaned it every day. Highly recommend!! Will definitely use next time we’re out of town. Also the end of stay bath and report card were amazing.”

“We just moved to the Memphis area and managed to find Rebecca for a last-minute trip. We arranged a meet-up and then Chesapeake started her 8-day stay the very next day. Rebecca was amazing with Chesapeake and shared pictures and videos daily. I was worried that Chesapeake would freak out because of the thunderstorms but I think having other dogs around helped her cope and get through them. We really were at ease knowing that Chesapeake was well taken care of. Rebecca will be our go-to for sure in the future. I cannot recommend her enough.”
