About: I have taken care of both dogs and cats since I was a child. My dog passed and since have focused on helping friends, family, and associates care for their beloved pets. I work full time but have a flexible schedule and the ability to work remotely if needed. I am an early riser but also happy to accommodate late night visits and over night stays. I currently do not pet sit in my home but am happy to make as many trips as needed to your location, work from your location during the day, or stay overnight if preferred.
About: I have been watching animals and children for 30 years. At lot of the animals I have watched have been for the families I worked for as a nanny. I also have helped with rescues and with fostering. I am going to go towards animals more because I am grandmother of 2 kids 8 and 2. Animals have to like children. They have been around a lot of animals so they are comfortable around them. Animal are a passion for me, I love their loyalty and kind little souls. Your dog or cat will get the best care with me. My friends call me the animal whisperer because I always gravitate towards them. I look forward to spending time with your pups ans kitties! I am a teacher and I have a lot of time off in the summer to be home with them. I enjoy the time I spend with all the animals I have watched over the years. My boyfriend lives with me as well. He loves animals and is always willing to help too. My house is animal friendly. I am very safe with them, they get to go on furniture and can sleep in bed if they like as well.
About: I have experience caring for both dogs and cats, including currently taking care of two kittens of my own. I truly see pets as family and always care for other people’s pets the same way I would care for my own. I’m very attentive to animals’ behaviors and needs, whether they’re bored, tired, dehydrated, stressed, sick, or just needing attention and playtime. I have experience watching multiple dogs at once and making sure every pet feels safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pets with someone, and I always do my best to provide a caring and reliable environment. I currently have a flexible schedule with a part time job, which allows me to spend plenty of time caring for and checking in on pets throughout the day. I make sure cats get attention, playtime, clean food and water, litter box care or walks, and a comfortable environment while their owners are away. I’m patient with shy or anxious pets and always try to follow their normal routine as closely as possible to help them feel safe and relaxed. I treat every pet as if they were my own and always prioritize their safety, comfort, and wellbeing. I pay close attention to cats’ behavior and can usually tell when they’re stressed, sick, dehydrated, tired, playful, or needing space. I keep a calm and clean environment and make sure pets have fresh water, food, attention, and a safe place to rest. I also have experience caring for kittens, senior cats, and cats needing extra patience or medication. I’m happy to provide updates and photos so owners feel comfortable while away. I live in a gated apartment complex community with a big fenced field right behind my patio and a lot of space to take your dogs on a walk or play with them.
About: For more than 30 years, animals have been a central part of my life. From rescue work and fostering to professional experience in animal hospitals and shelters, caring for animals is not just something I do. It is who I am. I previously built an extensive review history before stepping away for a time and am now returning to Rover with the same dedication, reliability, and high standards of care. I have experience with puppies and kittens, seniors, special-needs pets, and animals with behavioral sensitivities. I am comfortable administering oral medications and injections, monitoring recovery, reinforcing training routines for dogs, and creating calm, enrichment-focused environments for cats. Dogs respond well to steady leadership and clear communication, while cats thrive with patience and respectful interaction. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality so they feel safe, secure, and understood while you are away. Beyond dogs and cats, I have cared for a wide range of companion animals and small livestock. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, aging, or medically complex, they will receive thoughtful, attentive care that goes well beyond feeding and supervision. You can expect regular photo and video updates and responsive communication, so you always know how your pet is doing. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I am currently a student with a hybrid remote schedule, which allows me a reasonably flexible schedule and the ability to structure my days around the needs of the pets in my care. There ARE some in-class days where I am expected to be on campus 9am to 4pm, so please keep that in mind when you book. I currently specialize in house sitting, with a standard offering of overnight care from 7pm–7am plus check-ins throughout the day. During daytime hours I may step out for errands or appointments, but your pet will always have a warm, attentive presence each night — and your home will stay lived-in and loved while you're away. Think of it this way: for the duration of your booking, your home becomes my home. When I'm not needed elsewhere, I'll be right there — settled in, present, and happy to be. This is house sitting the way it was meant to feel: personal, consistent, and genuinely caring. If you're looking for someone present most or all of the day, ask me about my Constant Care option. When house-sitting, my priority is maintaining your pet’s morning and evening routine and your home exactly as you would. I carefully follow your established feeding schedules, medication protocols, exercise patterns, and household rules to ensure consistency and reduce stress for your pet. I am attentive to behavioral changes and early signs of illness or distress, and I communicate promptly if anything seems out of the ordinary. Your pet’s emotional comfort and physical safety always come first. Your home will be treated with the same respect and discretion I expect in my own space. I’m happy to water plants, retrieve mail, manage trash days, and handle other agreed-upon household tasks while you’re away. Reliable, observant, and steady—you can travel knowing things at home are handled.
“Remy was amazing! She was on time, gave great updates on Jerrie, and took great care of her. I felt like I did not have to worry about anything while I was on my trip when Remy was watching Jerrie :) I will definitely use Remy again when I go out of town.”

“Luisa is absolutely wonderful with our puppy! He gets so excited when she comes to check on him and she takes great care of him. She also gets the best photos of him during their puppy play sessions! She always makes sure he uses a ton of energy so by the time she has to leave he’s all tuckered out and ready for a nap until we return for more play time. I would highly recommend and trust Luisa with any pet!”

“Great experience!! She was great at communicating and my pups loved her. She stopped by to do a meet and greet before the drop in visit which I greatly appreciated. I will definitely be using this rover walker again!”

“Davina was great! This was my first time using this service and I will definitely be using her again. I had peace of mind all weekend knowing she’d be dropping in on my fur babies”

“Megan is so reliable, communicative, and loves our animals so much! She is very understanding and happy to follow long sets of directions. She has watched our pets multiple times and I would highly recommend her!”

“Dogs had a blast! Jonathan was kind enough to do a meet and greet with the puppers before I left for my trip. He was also able to accommodate an odd drop in time that was super early in the morning. Lots of pictures and great communication. Was able to rest easy on my trip away because I felt the pups were getting all the love. Will definitely book Jonathan again for sure”
“Hannah was AMAZING! She went above & beyond to make our pets comfortable. We had some issues with our house while we were away and she helped us with that as well. She stayed in contact with us nonstop and our dogs adored her. She was always prompt and stayed the full length of time, and sometimes longer to help with our house situation. She also took the dogs on an unplanned walk, just to help get them out of the house for a bit. She truly was amazing. We recommend Hannah 1000% and hope to use her every time we go out of town!”

“Excellent job! Our animals love them! We had a family emergency and they showed up when we needed them and did a fantastic job with everything! We are grateful for all they did and will be using them again!!”

“Melissa did a great job with my Sasha & left my home in mint condition. Care instructions were followed to the letter, took lots of photos & left notes on how Sasha was doing. At one point when I checked in on them, I saw Melissa was wiping Sasha‘s eye boogies🥹 I have another trip towards the end of the year, I know exactly who I’ll be booking with. Thanks Melissa! 💐”

Rosemont North pet parents share their Rover experiences
Remy was an excellent dog sitter for Tsuki. She kept me informed of everything going on at home with my furbaby and was responsive to any questions I had (which I had very little because of the constant updates). Having Remy available to watch Tsuki made me feel a bit more comfortable about going on work trips (although I still dislike leaving my girl behind).

Diane did drop-in visits for our pets Kiba, Nigel and Maryanne this past weekend and did an absolutely phenomenal job. She was communicative, reliable, and clearly attentive to their individual needs every time she came by. It's not always easy to leave your pets at home, but Diane made the whole experience stress-free from start to finish. We came back to two happy, healthy, well-looked-after pets — which says everything. If you're looking for a pet sitter who genuinely cares and takes the job seriously, look no further. Highly recommend!

Callie was incredible with my cats! She’s a great communicator and willing to help with whatever I needed. It gave me peace of mind knowing Stevie and Louise were getting taken care of while I was away. I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality care!

This was my first time using Rover and the first time leaving my two cats alone, so I’ll admit I was a bit nervous and anxious. Patricia was amazing, she kept me updated the entire time and sent photos, which really helped me feel at ease. She was very professional and patient. One of my cats is extremely shy, and on the last day he even let her pet him, which truly surprised my husband and me. I would definitely rebook with Patricia without hesitation. Highly recommend!
