About: Since I was young, I have cared for animals big and small. I grew up with cats and dogs, but have also raised the occasional turtle, snake, lizard, mouse, and fish. I love animals and am not afraid of complicated instructions or a challenge. I have experience with accidents, medications, and clingy, anxiety-ridden babies. I have an educational background in psychology - paying attention to pets and watching for their cues helps keep them healthy and happy. I’ll be able to tell if something is an stress-reaction or “just that weird thing they do.” My current companion is my best boy, Teddie. I found him in the trash on the side of the road one day (true story!) and bringing him home was the best decision I’ve ever made. I currently have a flexible work schedule and work remotely on Mondays. I have full availability for Saturday and Sunday, so I can be the perfect sitter for your long weekend getaways! Each pet is unique in how they communicate. I pay careful attention to a pet’s cue or behavior to determine what they may need. By being observant, I can ensure that your pet is happy, safe, and well taken care of! Many pets that I have cared for needed medication or had special instructions for care. I am no stranger to potty accidents or stress reactions. I would be happy to care for your pet that may need a little extra patience or kindness. Unfortunately, due to my small apartment, I am unable to care for pets in my home.

About: I’ve had my own dog for about a year and I love her more than anything. I’d be happy to care for your dog like they’re my own. I work part time on top of being a student and ucf, though I always make time for my dog, be it for cuddling, playing, or just going for a walk. I have a fenced in backyard for all pups to play in and plenty of toys to keep them happy, healthy, and having fun. I’m very detail oriented and can follow any and all instructions left to properly care for your pup.

About: I have utmost respect (and lots of love!) for all animals. I truly view them as real friends and equals. With experience, I have also learned how to set and maintain good (and firm - when necessary) boundaries. Dogs have been trusted members of my family since I was a child. I have cared for senior rescue dogs; I have socialized puppies; I have taught reserved dogs new tricks; and I have taught stubborn dogs to sit and wait. I have admittedly less history with cats, but just as much respect and care for them as any other animal. I do currently have one close cat companion (we used to be roommates, and have been best buds ever since). As with all animals, I find that the respect and love I give to the pets I interact with is reciprocated - and often multiplied! As a person who is both adventurous and empathetic, I am generally very well attuned to the health and wellbeing of those around me, and I really enjoy taking dogs for walks almost as much as they do! I’ve used Rover once in the past and had an awful experience with two different people canceling on me a day and two days before my trip and then the sitter that finally agreed to watch them, canceling on me after I left for my trip. My dogs can be super crazy at first and need some time getting used to someone new. Mariia came over once to meet them for a bit and then came over early the day I was leaving to spend some time with them before I left and that really helped my dogs get comfortable with her. I definitely over worry any time I’m away from my dogs and stress about whether they’re being good, but she stayed in contact with me every day sending messages and photos and it really helped me to enjoy my vacation and not worry about my dogs.
