From rescue work and fostering to professional experience in animal hospitals and shelters, caring for animals is not just something I do. It is who I am. I previously built an extensive review history before stepping away for a time and am now returning to Rover with the same dedication, reliability, and high standards of care. I have experience with puppies and kittens, seniors, special-needs pets, and animals with behavioral sensitivities. I am comfortable administering oral medications and injections, monitoring recovery, reinforcing training routines for dogs, and creating calm, enrichment-focused environments for cats. I take the time to understand each animal’s personality so they feel safe, secure, and understood while you are away. I maintain very few standing commitments, so availability is generally wide open. If there are ever specific time constraints, they will be clearly communicated at the time of booking—no surprises. My overnight housesitting hours are 7pm to 7am, and if you require additional hours for your pet, an additional service fee will be charged. My life is intentionally designed to be portable and adaptable. I have reliable transportation and am happy to travel as needed. Whether your pet requires consistent daily visits, medication timing, or flexible drop-ins, I can accommodate with ease. When house-sitting, my priority is maintaining your pet’s morning and evening routine and your home exactly as you would. I carefully follow your established feeding schedules, medication protocols, exercise patterns, and household rules to ensure consistency and reduce stress for your pet. I am attentive to behavioral changes and early signs of illness or distress, and I communicate promptly if anything seems out of the ordinary. Your pet’s emotional comfort and physical safety always come first. Your home will be treated with the same respect and discretion I expect in my own space. I’m happy to water plants, retrieve mail, manage trash days, and handle other agreed-upon household tasks while you’re away. Reliable, observant, and steady—you can travel knowing things at home are handled.

About: Hi there! My name is Halee and I have been involved in the care of dogs my entire life. My parents always had dogs growing up and when I graduated nursing school and moved out on my own I adopted my first baby, Finn. He is my life and my soul dog. He is leash reactive so I have lots of experience with reactivity and resource guarding. I adopted my second dog from orange county animal services after fostering her. I volunteered at OCAS for several years and now am a foster coordinator through furever bully love rescue. I work M-F typically with semi flexible hours. I typically work until 3pm Monday through Thursday with a half day Friday. I can do early visits most days and afternoon and evening visits all days. Weekends I am usually fully available! My fiance is also an avid dog lover and loves to help out too! When I am caring for a dog, I care for them like they are my own. My dogs Finn & Nyah are my life and I’d go to the ends of earth for them; and I’ll do the same for your baby. They will always be supervised, played with, loved, and have plenty of food and water… and treats if allowed :-)
