I am in freelance, so I make my own daily and weekly schedule most of the time. I am able to work around my other jobs to meet your pets when you need. She kindly offered to do a meet and greet beforehand to help her get familiar with our rabbit, Fiona, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to take advantage of it because we had to leave unexpectedly for a family emergency. My name is Elisa, and I’m a pre-vet biology student with a lifelong passion for animals and their care. Ever since I was younger, I’ve loved spending time with animals and began pet sitting and walking dogs for neighbors, which gave me experience with dogs of all sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I also have 2 birds that I’ve had since I was just 9 years old! Having two birds of my own has given me hands-on experience caring for pets with different personalities, needs, and boundaries. I understand that some birds can be bitey, nervous, or uncomfortable around new people, and I know how important it is to respect their space and build trust rather than forcing interaction. For shy or less social birds, I am comfortable stopping by to provide fresh food and water, clean their area, offer enrichment, and make sure they are safe and comfortable while respecting their boundaries. As a future equine veterinarian, animal health and safety are extremely important to me. I’m comfortable administering medications and making sure pets feel safe, relaxed, and cared for while you’re away. Me gusta salir al parque para que los perritos puedan hacer ejercicios y tengan olfateo siempre y cuando el sol no está tan fuerte porque le pueden dar golpes de calor a los perritos, así que siempre evalúo el clima. Cuido a cada mascota de acuerdo con sus necesidades y rutinas que tiene en casa. Si el servicio es en mi hogar, le brindo un ambiente seguro, tranquilo, lleno de cariño y seguro y se sientan como en casa. Si el servicio es en la casa del dueño, sigo sus indicaciones, horarios de comida, paseos y horarios habituales para que las mascotas se sientan cómodas.
