“As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous about leaving Mayer and Chewie, but Latisha completely blew us away! She is truly the sweetest girl and made the entire process so easy and stress-free. We received wonderful updates and could tell the boys were in the absolute best hands. Latisha treated Mayer and Chewie like her own, and we came home to two very happy, relaxed pets. We will absolutely be booking with her again. Thank you, Latisha!”

“Kiara was wonderful. Easy to work with for scheduling. She kept me very updated on check ins. She also got such cute pictures of out fur babe. Would definitely book again!”

About: Growing up with various pets, from fish to turtles to dogs, I’ve learned that all animals deserve our utmost love and care. I’m eager to embark on this incredible journey and make new pet friends along the way. I have a flexible, day-to-day schedule and a deep love for animals, and I’d be thrilled to start this new journey and experience while shared compassion for pets. Promise to respect your house rules, every home has a different set of rules. In my home I don’t like my dog on the beds.
“This was my first time using a dog sitter, and I was definitely a little nervous. One of my boys can be particularly cautious around strangers, but Toby warmed up to Angelo much faster than I expected. That immediately put my mind at ease. Throughout the entire stay, Angelo was communicative, reliable, and thoughtful. He sent regular updates, pictures, and videos, and it was obvious my boys were happy, comfortable, and well cared for. Seeing them relaxed and enjoying themselves made all the difference. I’m so grateful for the care Angelo provided and the peace of mind he gave me while I was away. I have definitely found the right person for my fur kids, and I won’t hesitate to book with him again. Highly recommend! 🐾❤️”

“Melissa was an incredible pet sitter for our cat while we were on vacation. From beginning to end, she communicated thoroughly and took great care of our fur baby. We highly recommend her, and we’ll be using her services in the future. Thank you!”

About: Hi there! I’m a former flight attendant who is currently enjoying some time at home! I’ve been caring for animals on and off for the past ten years, and I genuinely love every moment of it. Whether it’s cuddles on the couch or playtime in the yard, I treat every pet like my own. I currently have a flexible schedule and plenty of time at home, so when I’m available, I would absolutely love to help take care of your pet! I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, keep their space clean and comfortable, and give them plenty of attention and love throughout the day.

About: With over 4 years of professional dog handling/training experience, I aim to keep your furry friend safe and happy! Before we get to my experience, I just want to mention that I am wheelchair bound, so I prefer to stick to walking smaller dogs unless they are well-mannered on a leash! The size of animal is not a concern if a walk is not a requirement! For drop ins, it would require a mostly accessible entrance into the home. I can do a single small step, but otherwise zero-entry would be the most ideal! I have worked alongside a dog trainer who also offers boarding services for the past 4 years, I have volunteered for many animal shelters, including Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando for 2 years, I have been training my own dogs for the past 14 years, including training my current service dog, and I have previously shadowed veterinarians in a clinic environment. I absolutely love both dogs and cats, and I can assure you that they will be in great hands! I truly can’t wait to get in touch with you and meet your fur baby!! I currently work a part-time job, but often get scheduled full-time hours. I usually work between the hours of 8 and 6:30, so I can do night checks on my work days. My guaranteed days off are Monday and Tuesday, and I could complete as many drop ins as needed to keep your fur baby happy and healthy! I want to make sure that your baby stays comfortable, especially with a stranger coming into the home. I am very well versed on animal behaviour and body language, so I will never rush or force an interaction. I plan to follow the same schedule that you would as an owner, so that their schedule remains the same, even without a family member present. I will also make sure that the pet parents are staying updated with photos and messages throughout the day to maintain trust and communication!
About: I’ve been around animals my entire life, and during my Army career I’ve also cared for pets for family and friends. Those experiences have made me dependable, patient, and attentive to each pet’s individual needs. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone, and I take pride in providing safe, loving, and reliable care. Pet care fits naturally into my daily and weekly routine because caring for animals has always been a normal part of my life. I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’m dependable, organized, and understand the importance of keeping pets on a consistent routine so they feel safe and secure while their owner is away. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and respect for their individual needs. In a client’s home, I do my best to keep their pet on their normal routine so they feel comfortable in a familiar environment. I always pay close attention to feeding instructions, medication if needed, walking safety, and any behavior or personality differences. My goal is to make pets feel safe, loved, and stress-free while also giving owners peace of mind that their pet is in good hands.
About: I have flexible work schedule and work from home, and I absolutely love pets! So I want to be able to provide your fur babies some company and exercise to relieve your busy schedule. As mentioned above, I work from home and have a very flexible schedule, so I can work around your schedule. So we can make almost anything work. I live in a townhouse with no yard, but have a beautiful (gated) patio for your fur baby to bask in the sun and shade. My neighborhood is extremely safe and VERY pet friendly for walks.
About: Dogs have been part of my life since I was 10 years old—and caring for them has never felt like a job, it’s just who I am. Growing up, we loved our family dog so well that people used to joke they wanted to come back as our dog one day. My very first job at 12 was caring for a neighbor’s dog twice a day, and I’ve been the go-to sitter for friends and family ever since. I’m often told dogs naturally gravitate toward me—and honestly, I adore them right back (maybe a little more than people…haha). What truly sets me apart is my experience across all life stages: - Puppy support: I’m patient, consistent, and happy to reinforce basic training, routines, and positive behaviors. - Senior & special care: My first dog, Gunnar, was diagnosed with kidney disease as a puppy and given 7 years to live—he made it to 14.5. As he aged, he became deaf and blind, and I learned how to adapt, communicate, and care for him with compassion and attentiveness. - Emotional awareness: I’m very tuned in to dogs’ behavior and comfort levels, especially those who are anxious, shy, or extra attached to their humans. Today, I have a 7-year-old Schnauzer/Maltese cross named Louie, who is well-socialized, gentle, and up to date on all vaccinations. My home is calm, safe, and full of love—your dog will be treated like part of the family. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, or overnight care, you can expect: - A warm, welcoming environment - Plenty of attention, activity, and cuddles - Reliable communication and genuine care It would truly be an honor to be someone you trust with your dog. I will care for them the same way I care for my own—with patience, love, and attention to what makes them feel safe and happy. Pet care isn’t something I “fit in”—it is my routine. I’ve intentionally built my days around caring for dogs because it’s something I truly love. Your pup will get consistent attention throughout the day, including walks, playtime, and lots of affection. I’m home often, so they won’t be left alone for long periods and will always have someone focused on their comfort and care. My husband and I live in a clean, safe, and pet-friendly apartment with plenty of space for your dog to feel comfortable and relaxed. We have a 15 lb Schnauzer/Maltese mix named Louie, so our home is already set up with dogs in mind. We’re on the third floor, but there is elevator access if needed, and we have great amenities for dogs—including nearby walking trails, a fenced dog park on the property, and even a dog wash station for convenience. In our home, your dog will be treated like part of the family, with lots of attention, playtime, and cuddles, while also respecting their usual routines and comfort levels. When caring for pets in your home, I’m very respectful of your space and will treat it with care and professionalism. I take the time to understand your dog’s routine, preferences, and any specific commands or training you use, so they experience as much consistency as possible. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, or just keeping them company, I aim to create a calm, safe, and positive experience for your pet while you’re away.
“Janki did a great job doing daily visits to care for my two cats! She took lots of pictures and videos, so I knew they were getting the attention they needed. When there was some confusion about the medication she was giving them, she informed me right away to make sure everything was done correctly. She even swept the kitty litter on the floors so I did not return to a messy home! I was grateful and relieved that my fur babies were in good hands!”

About: I have a 17 year old lady, she is a chihuahua mix ! She is blind and deaf and requires a lot of attention. I have learned so much about caring for senior dogs with her. My schedule is flexible, so I’m usually able to work with clients on different days, times, and care arrangements. I’m always happy to communicate and find an option that works well for everyone. I care for pets in their own home so they can stay relaxed and comfortable in a familiar space. During drop-in visits, I’m happy to help with feeding, fresh water, potty breaks and playtime. Whether your dog wants to play, hang out, or just enjoy some extra love and attention, I’m happy to make sure they feel cared for while you’re away. At this time I'm not able to provide boarding or daycare in my home.

About: Hi! I’m a proud dog dad to my 1.5-year-old Havanese, Kinza. Raising her has taught me how much consistency, structure, and gentle attention dogs need to truly thrive. I understand puppy energy, daily routines, potty schedules, safe socialization, and the importance of calm leadership. Kinza is friendly, well-socialized, and used to being around other dogs in a respectful way. Your dog won’t just be “watched” — they’ll be cared for the way I care for my own. What you can expect: • Structured walks and playtime • Safe, supervised interactions • Clean, calm home environment • Regular photo and video updates • Clear communication and reliability I’m especially comfortable with small breeds, puppies, and dogs who benefit from patient, attentive care. If you’re looking for someone responsible, calm, and genuinely invested in your dog’s well-being, I’d love to connect. I work from home full-time, which allows me to provide consistent supervision and attention throughout the day. My own dog is on a structured routine and goes outside every 4 hours for potty breaks, walks, and fresh air — and any dog staying with me would follow a similar, reliable schedule. Because I’m home during the day, your pup won’t be left alone for long stretches. I’m available for boarding on both weekdays and weekends, and I can maintain feeding, medication, or crate routines as needed. Your dog’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I maintain a calm, clean, and structured home environment. Dogs are always supervised during interactions, and I take introductions slowly and thoughtfully to ensure everyone feels comfortable. I’m very routine-oriented — regular potty breaks every 4 hours, consistent feeding schedules, and clear boundaries help dogs feel secure. If your dog prefers their own space, I can easily crate them or provide separation as needed. I communicate proactively and provide photo and video updates so you always know how your pup is doing. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own — with patience, structure, and genuine affection.
About: I’m the kid who always wanted a dog and that really hasn’t changed. We have 2 pups at home, a dog & child friendly husky named Sophie and my mixed ball of black fluff Ridley. Growing up we had a Shih Tzu, Boston Terrier, Beagle/Lab, and Westie/Scottie and I adored each one of them for their unique personalities much like I look forward to getting to know your pet for their unique personality. I’ve been a dog dad for the last 8 years after I volunteered at an animal shelter in Miami and fell in love with Ridley. About three years ago, I got married and in addition to an amazing wife I also became a dog-dad to Sophie who comes from Big Dog Rescue Ranch. We all look forward to meeting your doggy companion! Living in a townhome we frequent a community dog park a block away which is along the way of our daily walks. I’m also a quick skip away from Boxi Park dog park and can happily walk your dog at Lakefront park just south of Lake Nona should you like. I currently work full-time helping magic happen. My goal is to make use of my open weekends taking care of your pet while you’re spending some quality time away from home. I have a nearby community dog park for dogs who prefer to not be in a busy area or can quickly drive over to a more popular dog park. I also have a large (30-70lbs) crate should you request to have your dog crate trained. Our dogs go out 3+ times a day and on 2 walks minimum.
Lake Nona South pet parents share their Rover experiences
As first-time Rover users, we were a little nervous about leaving Mayer and Chewie, but Latisha completely blew us away! Thank you, Latisha!

Jenna was an absolute joy to have as my pet sitter for Emma. She is patient, a clear communicator and pays attention to detail. During our meet and greet, Jenna was patient and understood that cats take time to warm up to a new person. Luckily, Emma showed comfort with her presence and stayed out watching within a close distance. While I was away, Jenna was on time, communicated any changes, and even facilitated Facetime check-ins with Emma. During those checkins, I observed Emma showing elements of her personality that I only see. This behavior clearly indicated her high level of comfort with Jenna. Lastly, upon my return, Emma was happy and the house was in great order. Thank you Jenna for your patience, amazing care and going above and beyond. You are appreciated! 💜 Emma & Quin

Yuria is amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure Sushi was well taken care of & given lots of love and attention. We highly recommend Yuria! She is so personable, reliable, caring, professional, & Sushi loved her! We appreciated the daily updates with pictures & videos. We are so glad we found her!

I booked Patricia for a drop-in visit with my dog Max, and she absolutely exceeded expectations. Right from the start, her calm, kind energy made Max feel at ease, no small feat with a dog who’s usually pretty shy around new people. She took the time to really connect with him, not just feed and walk him, but give him genuine attention and care. I could tell from the updates (and adorable photos!) that Max was completely relaxed and happy. It’s such a relief to know there’s someone I can trust to care for my dog like he’s her own. Patricia brings professionalism, warmth, and a real love for animals to everything she does. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again, and if you’re looking for someone dependable and compassionate to look after your pet, look no further, you’ve found her.
