About: I'm a pet-loving mother of four with three children in college—and enjoying the wonderful pets I have met through this site. I have lived in Scotch Plains for almost 15 years. I watch several dogs regularly on a private basis and am excited to be part of the Rover community. I grew up with a beloved menagerie that included three cats, two beloved dachshunds and a poodle and have enjoyed watching a variety of dogs, including a bulldog, a French bulldog, a Bernese, a labradoodle, and, of course, mixed breeds. I love walking and daily yoga and look forward to helping your pets get the fresh air, activity and affection they need when you are working or otherwise busy. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and have time for walks and visits before or after work and at lunchtime. Having raised a family, I know how important it is to have a pet sitter who is mature and reliable and understands how deeply you love your pets--and am honored to assist you in keeping them happy and healthy. While I would love to help every pet, I am petite, so my ideal sized pets are under 50 pounds. I am a freelance writer with a flexible schedule and my own car. I rise early every day, and I am often available on weekends. I am often available at lunch time to clients who need their dogs walked mid day. I am a mature, reliable and organized mother of four and will treat your beloved and adorable pet like a member of my own family.

About: I have worked intensively for 3 years in dog daycare with as many as 30 dogs in a room. Before that I’ve always been an avid dog owner and caretaker for as long as I can remember. I work mornings during the week, so I am available after 1:30 pm weekdays. I am very punctual and reliable, and deeply care for a dogs wellbeing! I prefer to care for pets in a client’s home, although I’m sure there can be some exceptions, although I don’t have a huge amount of space

About: I've worked at a doggy daycare where I learned about dogs' behaviors and how to keep them entertained and safe in a group of 10+ dogs. For the past 6 years, I have been working part-time as a pet sitter/dog walker. I have experience with dogs of all ages, especially senior dogs, administering medicine and all the extra care necessary. My schedule is pretty flexible, I can be available during the week at certain times and on the weekends as well, we can work something out! “I pre booked a house sitting with Omar and his wife because I did not have someone who was definitely going to watch my bulldog. So to be safe I booked Omar. I had a meet and greet with him and his wife and they were so exited to pleas I was very impressed by there enthusiasm. Unfortunately my pooch did not get to Jersey in time for him to watch hence why I only gave 4 stars because I was not able to get the service so was not able to judge whole process .Which was not their fault just timing . Im sure though they would of been great pet sitters from the vibe I got from them In our meeting .So will be booking with them again soon!”

About: I’ve currently been a vet tech for 6 years. Friends and family always come to me when they need somebody to watch their furry friends because I understand their need for play, fun and ensuring the safety of their pet. I understand the need for safety and would treat your animals like my own. My dog has had numerous health problems including IVDD and IBD, that being said I am comfortable giving oral and injectable medication :) I currently go to school full time until about 3:30 pm. I am a part time vet tech and have pet nail trim business with a coworker where we go to clients homes. I currently do not offer pet sitting in my home. However, in your home I will always make sure there is available food, water and a toy when I leave. Just leave me with instructions of what you would want me to do and leave the rest to me!
