“I just returned from a 10 day vacation and Anthea watched my dog and cat while I was gone. I returned to a clean home, and happy animals. During her stay she provided me with a daily report of activities they did and asked questions to better understand each animal. I'm very comfortable with her caring standards and really appreciate all the effort she put into making sure both animals were as comfortable as they can be when their primary human is away. I highly recommend Anthea.”

About: Hi, my name is Meagan and I have been caring for animals for over twenty years. The attention and care of your animal(s), as well as their safety will be important to me. All animals are treated with respect, and I will treat them as if they are a part of my family. I have one dog of my own right now named Roscoe. I have had dogs of many breeds since I was a small child. Some were large Rhodesian Ridgebacks, while others were small Dachsunds and Bichon Frises. I have trained dogs and other animals since I was a kid. I am good at reading signs of a dog's emotions and I work with each unique personality in a patient and loving manner. I will treat your dog as if it were my own. I am good at making sure dog(s) are safe by watching my surrounding environment and the people and animals in it. I am more than happy with pet sitting other types of animals as well. I own ducks, cats, ferrets, and a guinea pig. I have rescued many pets including feral cats and dogs, birds, as well as other wildlife. Working in horse stables has also taught me that animals need caring people in their lives to help keep them happy and that caring for a pet takes a good amount of work and patience.

“Banana had a wonderful time with Heidi! This was our first trip since our baby was born and we wanted Banana to feel special so she wouldn't be left out. Heidi left our home looking better than we left it and kept us updated throughout our trip. We look forward to having Heidi stay with Banana again!”

“Roree!!!!! You took such great care of Chewy! Thank you for the daily communication and pictures! I truly appreciate the care you gave my little baby🐱this is the first time I have felt so happy with the person caring for him while I was gone, and I could tell when I got home that he was well taken care of while I was gone. Thank you so much!”

“Makayla watched our Bentley for 4 days. He had actually been sprayed by a skunk about 5 days prior to her watching him, so she had to endure some residual skunk smell the entire time. That didn't stop her from giving him plenty of walks, attention and quality time. This is the first time we've had someone watch him, so we were a little nervous. Makayla made sure we had nothing to worry about and took great care of him and our house. We will definitely book with her again!”

“Peyton did a great job watching my dog Beau while I was out of town. Beau had a great time and Peyton sent plenty of pictures and left my house very clean. I would definitely recommend him.”

“Patricia did a great job taking care of my senior dogs. She asked lots of questions to make sure she understood how they need to be cared for. She also updated me daily with pictures.”

“Our Rescue dog (new to Pure Mutts Rescue) was totally at peace and wonderfully cared for by Matt. We appreciated his last minute availability and we're grateful we did not have to bounce her somewhere other than her new foster home since everything was already confusing for her. She is happy and secure thanks to Matt. We would highly recommend his service.”

“Heather has stayed in my home with my two pups at least a half dozen times (maybe even more?). It’s nice to be able to relax while on vacation knowing my babies are well cared for. I never have to worry about a thing!”

About: Hi, I’m Faye! I’m an energetic and responsible dog sitter who loves everything from long walks and fetch sessions to relaxing belly rubs. I’m comfortable with all breeds, sizes, and energy levels, and I’m happy to stick to your dog’s specific feeding, exercise, and training routines. Whether your pup needs a running buddy or just someone to keep them company, I’ll make sure they get the care, attention, and affection they deserve while you’re away. Because I have mornings, evenings, and three full days off each week, I’m able to offer plenty of attention, walks, playtime, and cuddles, whether it’s regular visits, overnight care, or last-minute help. I balance my studies and pet care easily, making sure your furry family member always comes first when they’re in my care. I’m currently in my final year of Mechanical Engineering at WSUV (Go Cougs!). With my full-time schedule, I make sure I leave plenty of time for caring for pets. Here’s a look at my availability: Class Schedule: Mon: 11:30AM - 5:30PM Tue: 9AM-10:30AM, 2:30PM-6:30PM Wed: 11:30AM - 5:30PM Thur: 9AM-10:30AM, 4PM-6PM Fri, Sat, Sun: OFF I make it my priority to keep their routine consistent and their environment comfortable. I follow all instructions you provide, from feeding schedules and portion sizes to preferred walking routes and playtime activities. I make sure fresh water is always available, litter boxes or potty breaks are handled promptly, and any medications are given as directed. Beyond the basics, I spend quality time with your pet so they feel safe and loved while you’re away, whether that’s cuddle time on the couch, an energetic game of fetch, or quiet companionship for more reserved pets. I also keep an eye on your home, bringing in mail or watering plants if requested, and I’ll send you regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: I have owned dogs all of my life and love being in their company! I firmly approach pet care with positive reinforcement and focus on their needs first under my care. I am a volunteer at a humane society and constantly work with all different types of dogs. I work remotely, so when your dog is under my care I will be around all the time! I am an avid hiker/runner. Does your dog need an outlet for exercise? I'm happy to help burn off that puppy energy! Does your dog prefer to relax around the house or take leisurely walks and sniffs? I can provide that as well! I work remotely, so I can be available to board at all times! I am also free on weekdays after 2pm for walks/visits and on weekends any time. I live in an apartment on the first floor. Dogs are allowed on furniture and I have additional space for a kennel if your dog prefers crate space. I also am able take the dog on walks and fun outside of the apartment every 2-4 hours.

Rose Village pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sarah was great with Odie, she sent pictures, short videos. updates and took him on walks and rides and adventures throughout the weekend-even told me about his eating habits which were 100% normal meaning he too was comfortable. Definitely gonna book her next time for my pup. She loves animals And treats them so well I would not be nearly this comfortable and confident if I had not seen her with my dog so many times and the dog is comfortable and so is she. It makes out of tow trips seem less rather than disrupting to his life.

Jenni did a fantastic job of taking care of Leo. He was newly out of a fairly aggressive surgery and she made sure he was well cared for and administered all the meds he required. She is friendly and kind and treated my pet and home with respect. I can highly recommend her as a mature and responsible pet care taker and house sitter. I will use her again for my next travel adventure.

Jenny stayed with our dog Oliver and cat Ringo over Memorial Day weekend. We had met with her a couple weeks earlier just to get to know her and were instantly impressed. She is very personable and was immediately at ease with our dog Oliver which we loved. We had a great conversation and talked about some of the difficult things with our pets and she didn’t have any issues. Jenny has a little more life under her belt (unlike some of our past Pet sitter’s) so we felt very comfortable leaving her at the house, able to handle unforecast things that might come up. I’m not saying she’s old, ha ha. Just saying it’s nice to have someone a little more mature watching our house and pets. Jenny was very communicative when we were on our trip. We got photos and videos daily and updates on how they were doing. My dog didn’t even look like he was missing us.She took him for daily walks and watered some of our outdoor plants as it was warm. When we returned, the house looked better than when we left it. Thank you so much for that! We will definitely use Jenny in the future. I’m actually hesitant to write this review because I don’t want her to get more popular than she already is! Good pet/house sitters are so hard to come by. Thank you again Jenny, Eric and Julie
