About: Im Claire, lover of all pets, young and old, big and small. We can do walks, hikes, swimming, even a play day at the park, I am sure I will pamper your pooch. Im currently a nursing student at MSU. I have lecture 10 am -3pm on Tuesday and Wednesday. Every other Thursday I have clinical, and some Fridays I have clinical (I schedule my own hours) I have pretty flexible availability on weekends! If your dog is interested in play time, I have a dog of my own who loves to play. We take plenty of trips to the dog park and go on plenty of walks! If you choose to board with us, I'd recommend a meet and greet beforehand. I have an apartment with a large enclosed courtyard that is pet friendly for them to safely play. I have a mostly remote job, so I can watch your pet full time. I also have a dog of my own that share with my partner. So I am accustomed to the schedule of dogs. Your pets safety is my number one priority. When we discuss the their care, I will ask about triggers, allergies, medications, and inquire if there is any other information I should know about.

About: Growing up with both cats and dogs and currently living with our dog Kylo and cat Kala, I have a genuine love for taking care of pets. Love getting out on walks, and with Kylo being a husky, I am definitely used to some leash pulling! We also love a good game of tug-of-war. Working from home, I can be super attentive to your pup’s needs. We have a fenced in yard that they can have access to at anytime throughout the day. While I am not a trainer by any means, I worked with a trainer when we first rescued Kylo that gave me a lot of confidence to work well dogs and understand their behavior more. My first experience dog sitting was for a husky of a family member. We would go on walks, and she loved trying to chase the deer in the neighborhood. Subsequently, the neighbors asked if I would come sit for their Rhodesian Ridgeback, who was just a large ball of energy! I can provide play time and will also ensure that your dog will be comfortable during their stay. I work full time from home but am done with work around 2pm. Working from a computer makes it easy to keep an eye on your dog, be able to take breaks to play and potty, and follow up with lots of good afternoon time. I have a fenced in yard, and Kylo is very friendly and would love to play with your dog. Our cat is kept separate from the dogs.

About: I’ve been a mom to small dogs most my adult life. I currently have a chill 7 lb shih tzu mix that would love company on our two daily walks. I work part-time and am never away for more than 4 hours. (Often my college age son is home when I’m out) I’ve taken care of very young pups as well as older dogs requiring medications and special diets. I’m responsible and loving, doing my best to keep pups content while their people are away. I’m communicative and responsive and provide daily pupdates. I work two to three days a week for no more than 4 hours, so I’m home a lot. I have a 7 year-old shih tzu mix that I walk twice a day so I have a good routine established. My college age son lives with me and is super helpful and responsible. Generally if I’m out, he’s home to give extra potty breaks and belly rubs. My back yard is quite big and securely fenced-lots of room for sniffing! My house is cozy and comfortable-I’m happy to have pups on my lap on the couch and in my bed for the night. I do host up to 3 dogs at a time and have a small pup of my own, so I ask that your dog is well socialized.

About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. When we left I felt comfortable and confident having her in my home and to watch Finn. With frequent updates and pictures I was able to see my baby from far away. She asked permission before taking him to a nature park and then allowed him to have an amazing time as well. I would definitely use Kina again and recommend her to those looking. ?”

I raised tulip on a structured routine since we did travel so much so I really appreciate those who have their own animals on structured schedules. Not mandatory of course, but I do think it plays a positive effect on the animals life - especially when a stranger is taking care of them it usually helps with their anxiety. I’m always happy to meet ahead of time so you can feel comfortable with who you’re entrusting your pets and home to.
