About: Hi! I’m Ezra 😊 I’ve spent my life around animals, growing up with big dogs and cats and now working at an animal sanctuary for cats, dogs, and farm animals. I’m very comfortable with administering medications, high energy dogs, and senior and puppy care. Because of my background in animal welfare, I have a special patience for nervous dogs who might be wary of men, and pets/breeds who might be labelled “difficult”. I know how to give them the space they need to feel secure and build the trust needed to keep them happy while you’re away. I adore animals of all kinds and can’t wait to get to know your furry (and feathered) family members! 🐾🩷 I work from home most days, and am lucky to have a 4-day work week. All that means I spend a lot of time with my pets! I’m an early riser, so in the mornings me and my dog will often be on local trails, off leash parks, at Double Bluff, or wandering our sleepy Clinton neighborhood. We love to play in my fully fenced yard regularly throughout the day. Fridays and my weekends are all about enjoying the beautiful PNW with my pup and I’d love to bring your pets along for the ride! In my home, pets are welcome on the furniture and treated like members of the family. Paws are wiped off when we come back inside, and everyone has free roam of the house. When necessary we have gates to seperate upstairs and downstairs areas, so if your pet needs some private time on their own couch, it’s available to them! At your house, I treat your space with the same level of care I give your pets. I’ll make sure the mail is brought in, your plants are watered, the house stays tidy, and the locks are triple checked. Because I work with rescued animals, I’m also very intentional about maintaining your pet’s routine to minimize any anxiety while you’re away. When we’re out, I’m hyper-vigilant about leash safety and harness checks. If your dog is a flight risk or just easily spooked, I have the experience to keep them focused, happy, and secure. I know I need lots of updates when I’m on vacation, so you’ll get plenty of photos from me from each visit! No judgement if you’re a helicopter pet parent, I promise 😉

About: I’ve dog and cat sit around the Island Country area for about a year. I’m very good with animals and keeping you updated on how things are going around the house while you’re away. :) I work during the day so I have evenings and mornings free to come check in, feed and play with your pets. Typically I am more free on the weekdays. We can talk more about boarding if needed. I will keep you updated on how your pets are doing and let you know without hesitation if anything concerning arises. I’m very communicative and punctual.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats most of my life, and during Covid—when I was working from home rather than at UW—I became a foster dog mom, which I loved. I retired in January and now happily spend much of my time in my art studio. Alas, there are no pets in my life at the moment, so I’d love the chance to be with yours! I especially enjoy the companionship of animals and the ordinary, unhurried time that comes with caring for them—walks, play, hanging out, and simply being together. Being retired means I have something that can be hard to find: time without a rush. I’m a homeowner with a flexible schedule, and I can give a pet my attention rather than squeezing their care into the edges of a busy day. I’m not a full-time sitter, and I don’t administer medications, but I’m happy to provide attentive, dependable care and plenty of affection. I’m also hoping to make pet sitting part of my longer-term adventures—spending time with wonderful animals on South Whidbey or the San Juan Islands, and eventually pet sitting in interesting places abroad. It seems like a pretty lovely way to travel: get to know a place through the eyes of a local pet, and have a furry companion along the way. For now, I’d be very happy to borrow yours. I’m retired from the UW in January and am working in my art studio, walking the beach or working out at the gym with a very flexible schedule. So there’s no fixed routine, which I love. I’m happy to adjust my routine to your per/s! Pets thrive on familiar routines, so I’m happy to follow your preferred schedule for meals, playtime, cuddles, quiet companionship, and other daily activities, helping your cat feel secure, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.

She was able to get Fish to warm up to her after a couples days and even got some snuggles towards the end of the sit, which says of a lot since Fish is pretty shy with new people. A little about me: My name is Connor, which fittingly means "hound lover." I work at a psychiatric hospital with twelve hour shifts. I help those that are unhoused and getting them back into the community. I work M,T,W and S,M,T - 12 hour shift schedule. So working end of the week works really well for me doing Rover. I love being active myself and running with dogs. I’ve only been able to have one outdoor cat in the past. They usually like being inside. In the house I can snuggle and keep them good company.

About: I’ve had two different dogs in my family since I was born. I have been responsible for feeding and cleaning up after my most recent dog. I graduated from the University of Denver and have spent 2+ months in the last year staying overnight to care for clients’ pets and homes. I am young and in fairly good shape, so I can run with dogs if requested! I have experience walking not only my dog, but various friends’ dogs. I get along well with all kinds of animals, but I am most familiar with dogs. Both of my family’s pets have been medium sized dogs, but I have done some dog sitting for both larger and smaller breeds. These span from Shih Tzu to Pitbulls to full sized Poodles. I can’t wait to meet your four legged friends!! I am looking for a furry friend to join me on my after class walks! I typically walk 1.5-3 miles, so hopefully your pup will be tired out I make sure when I come in that there is enough water and/or food in the bowl, then promptly take them outside. I will make sure all doors are completely shut before leaving those sneaky dogs alone!

About: I’ve been taking care of neighborhood dogs and dogs that my parents friends have had since I was in elementary school, and I have an 11 year old miniature poodle mix that I trained myself but I’ve always loved dogs of all breeds. I have experience working with tiny and huge dogs, anxious dogs, reactive dogs, high energy dogs, special needs dogs, untrained dogs, heavy pullers, and puppies of various ages. I’m also quite strong and can handle big/rambunctious/reactive dogs with ease, so you wouldn’t have to worry about whether or not I can safely handle your dog. I’m currently back from college for the summer and don’t have a lot going on (aside from taking care of my own dog) so I’m home and available all day most days (aside from when I occasionally go stay with my long term girlfriend for a weekend or so). I decided to start working with Rover because I love animals and I’m happier when I have such a fun reason to get some exercise and leave my house :) I have a large grassy (and freshly fenced) in backyard to play in and make sure to routinely check the integrity of the fence and that there aren’t any potential hazards in my backyard. My dog is quite the lounge-around-inside-where-it’s-cool type, so if you would want your dog to have some off leash time in my backyard, even reactive and dog aggressive dogs wouldn’t have issues because they wouldn’t be anywhere near my dog. I also make sure to follow house rules and instructions to the letter (and am strictly no shoes in any house ever) and keep my clients updated on how things are going with photos, videos, as well as update messages. All potential clients are encouraged to meet up with me before entrusting their pets to me, and if you have any interest in your dog having some off leash time with me in my backyard I would be more than happy to give you a tour. Not only those things- but any other requests you may have that can help give you peace of mind when it comes to entrusting me with your fluffy loved ones are encouraged.

About: Growing up surrounded by animals such as dogs, cats, goats, and chickens, I developed a strong sense of responsibility towards them. Despite not being able to own a pet until recently due to space constraints, I've spent the last 12 years looking after my family's dogs and cats. My experience includes providing insulin to a diabetic dog and meeting special dietary needs through food preparation. Dogs hold a significant place in my life, and I'm committed to treating every dog with the care I would give a cherished family member. I'm available for at-home care, boarding, and regular walks. I currently work full time Sunday -Wednesday however I am available through out the day on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. My days off consist of walking my dog and setting up play dates for him. I live in an apartment with my golden retriever. I walk him around the complex and neighborhood for his daily exercise. On the weekends I have more time and I’ll take him to the dog park or on a hike. I will adapt my route and schedule to what best suits your pup. If you prefer I watch him in your home I am happy to provide this service.

About: I grew up in a large dog loving family. In adulthood, nothing has changed. Our family are all dog lovers. We will be available Monday to Friday and on the weekends as well to take care of your dog/dogs. We have a large house and a big yard that is fenced. Typically, your dog will go home tired from playing with the other dogs, walks around the neighborhood and playing catch in our large turfed backyard. Watching your dog for boarding or daycare is my full time job. Plus, my wife and three kids love dogs and help out as well. We have a large house and fenced yard. Plus, we don't leave dogs outside without our supervision. We also don't leave the dogs alone indoors for more than two hours at a time.

About: I have been dog walking for friends and families for about 10 years now with a variety of dogs! My experience with different breeds of dogs has shown me that all dogs have different needs to be met. My own dogs has taught me to always be aware of everything and to always be there for them. I enjoy being able to connect with animals and will make your dog my first priority! I will be wearing a mask when dog walking or sitting and will be following the CDC guidelines for COVID-19I am a student at Seattle University and all classes are online so I am free whenever you need a sitter or a walker :) Please let me know if you have any questions. I have a fenced place in a family and pet friendly neighborhood. I will figure out what else can be dog-proofed and to make sure that they is nothing they can get into.
