About: About Me Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover and retired Los Angeles firefighter who recently relocated to Middletown. Dogs aren't just a passion of mine—they’ve been my life’s work. Over the past 17+ years, I’ve worked as a professional Search and Rescue K9 handler, raising and working alongside three incredible SAR dogs of my own and helping train dozens more toward official certification. Now in my retirement, my days revolve around outdoor adventures, active play, and giving dogs the best possible care while their owners are away. My trusty companion Mojo, a friendly rescue pup, loves meeting new playmates and welcoming guests! Being retired means my entire day is built around quality pet care! Our mornings always start with a good outdoor workout, followed by short, engaging training and exercise sessions spread throughout the day. Because I am home full-time, your pup will enjoy a structured routine packed with continuous companionship, mental enrichment, and plenty of activity. Your dog’s safety and peace of mind are my top priorities. My home is nestled in a quiet, low-traffic rural area, offering a calm and peaceful setting away from busy streets. Outdoor playtime happens in a spacious, full-acre yard—completely fenced as of September 21st—giving pets a secure, massive space to run and play freely. To ensure constant security and supervision, my property is also equipped with indoor and outdoor smart cameras, so I always have an eye on my guests whether we're inside or out in the yard.

Our dog ended up not getting along well with his puppy and Samarth was very quick to notice this and careful about keeping the dogs separate for the weekend, while also making sure that our dog was well exercised and taken care of. This was a tricky situation - we felt bad that we were so far away and unable to help out and very appreciative of Samarth for his understanding.”

I received photos & an update within 30 minutes of dropping them off - & without having to check in myself - which I absolutely loved & appreciated. I then received updates all throughout the day which is exactly what I needed! She was VERY attentive to the dogs, asked about/followed their normal routine & updated me if she sensed anything was wrong or if the dogs seemed uncomfortable (one of them was exhibiting signs of an ear infection). I know my dogs were well taken care of and enjoyed their stay. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better sitter and we are so very grateful to Pauline!!!”

“Davon was amazing. I outreached very impromptu and he was available for a meet and greet with Arya. ( which went well. We reviewed the basics of her care and he made sure to get a full understanding of what is needed to make Aryas stay as comfortable as possible) drop off was nice. He has spacious living accommodations. What stood out is his willingness to work with Arya being that she is a Bully. There are a many false conceptions about this breed. With his family background working with bully’s and pitbull, and his love for animals in general, I had no concerns that Arya was in good care. During her overnight visit, he provided checks up and sent pictures for reassurance. He also introduced Arya to family and friends ( which I love ) being that she is not around other dogs or people, helping her socialize. Picking Arya up was easy. All items returned and she was happy ! I previously boarded her , and when picking her up she was distant, had scratches and limped !!! All in all, 5 stars for Devon. I recommend and will use him again. 🐾💕”

Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to help with walking, feeding, playtime, basic grooming, and keeping pets comfortable while they are away. I’m especially patient with shy pets, senior pets, and dogs who need a little extra time to warm up. Whether your pet loves long walks, quiet companionship, structured routines, or lots of play, I’ll treat them with the same care and attention I would want for my own babies. I work remotely, which gives me flexibility to provide attentive pet care throughout the day. I can usually accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding routines, playtime, and check-ins depending on your pet’s needs and my schedule. I’m also available for weekend care and can work with owners to keep pets on their normal routine as much as possible. Because I’m home often, pets in my care will receive regular attention, bathroom breaks, and companionship rather than being left alone for long stretches. I’ll always discuss timing and expectations ahead of time so your pet’s care plan is clear and reliable. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I will follow your instructions carefully for feeding, medication, walks, crates, routines, house rules, and any special needs. I’ll make sure doors, gates, leashes, and harnesses are secure and will never take unnecessary risks with your pet. In your home, I’ll be respectful, clean, and careful with your space. In my home, pets will have a calm, supervised environment with plenty of attention and care. I’m happy to provide updates, photos, and messages so you feel confident that your pet is safe, comfortable, and being treated with kindness.

“My dog has bad separation anxiety so it’s very hard for me to leave her with anyone, let alone someone new! Janelle was great! She sent me daily updates and pictures and made phoebe feel loved. Soon after I left her there, my worries went away. I will definitely leave her with Janelle again!”

About: Hi everyone. I am new to Rover as a sitter but I’ve taken care of different types of dog breeds for 5 years! Dogs are considered to be humans best friends and I treat them like they’re mine! I provide comfort and care and help each dog with anything they may need, ranging from love, to energy and any special need care the owner may have! I alter my care depending on each need to each individual dog! I am comfortable around all dogs. While also having a job as an engineer, I try to make time for my animals even if that means leaving work and coming home to make sure they have everything they need! I also have days off that need to be filled with more joy and more animals! With a lot of free time, I can make sure your fur baby is never alone and bored! I’m also new on rover as a sitter and I’m super excited to start meeting new pets! I have 2 mini golden doodle puppy one named Tobi and one named Rylee. They are as playful and energetic as they can be. I provide them with attention and energy anytime they need/ want and they control my whole world! This would be no different than taking care of your pets too! Every pet deserves love so I will provide that level of comfortability! I adapt to your pets as if they are my own.
