“This is our second time with Julie caring for our cat Pixie and will not be our last. She is prompt about getting to our house to feed Pixie and does not simply feed her and rush out the door when she is done. Pixie is an extreme affection sponge and we love that Julie sticks around and cuddles with our little one while we are away. I always feel so guilty when we are gone for more than a day, but knowing Julie is going to be sitting with Pixie and giving her the attention she craves really helps me relax. Julie is also so sweet with Pixie. Pix has a habit of getting under foot and can be very chatty. Julie has the patience of a saint navigating the one cat obstacle course to get through our kitchen while prepping her meals. We are thrilled to have come across Julie on Rover and already have discussed with her our next booking, which will be sudden and unpredictable as we go into the hospital to have our first child. She is so open to when we said "yeah, it will be sometime between this date and this date and could be 2-5 days long and will be a very last second booking". About: Cats have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is truly something I love. I have two cats of my own, a 17-year old lovebug and a 13-year old grumpy guy. For the past 12 years, I’ve fostered more than 140 cats and kittens through my local humane society as well as have experience working in a veterinary clinic, giving me experience with cats of all personalities, ages, and needs. I have a special soft spot for the “hissy kitties” - the shy, nervous, or fearful cats who need a little extra patience, TLC, and someone willing to earn their trust. There’s nothing more rewarding than watching a once-scared cat slowly come out of their shell! Of course, I’m just as happy spending time with the cuddly, playful, and attention-loving kitties, too. About: I have always loved dogs. I have one dog at the moment and dog sitting fulfills my need for a second dog. I recently lost my first dog, Peekaboo the Cockapoo, and have been heart broken ever since. I do have an amazing dog Moose (3y/o 40# all American brown dog mix) and I don’t want her to ever feel lonely so hosting dogs or going to walk other dogs has been a great way for her to get personalized one on one attention! I love my dogs so much they bring me so much joy we love to take walks around my beautiful neighborhood 3 to 4 times a day we have space to play and beds to lay on and take naps in the sun, we look forward to getting the chance to meet you all soon ! I work full-time from home with a digital marketing career. I am able to monitor my animals all day. Every day we go for 3 to 4 walks around my mile and a quarter neighborhood block. I have tons of space for your dog to be crated or to nap on their bed or to nap on my bed I am very attentive to my animals needs. I typically know that if an animal is out of sight, then they must be getting into some thing so if I see that they don’t want to be near me, we go for a walk I’m always available for a pet or a cuddle in between my business calls. About: Dogs have been my whole world for as long as I can remember. As a kid, I was the neighborhood's unofficial dog-walker, so much so that our animal control officer would come to me when an older resident's high-energy dog needed extra exercise to stay comfortably in their home. One I'll never forget: Maggie, an assertive, energetic GSD who lived with a sweet older woman. The moment her owner opened the door, Maggie bolted. Her owner tried calling her back, but I just jingled my keys, and that was enough to catch Maggie's curiosity and gently guide her home. That instinct followed me into adulthood. In college, I worked at a dog training facility, teaching puppy obedience classes and running the daycare program, and I spent three semesters as a teaching assistant for canine behavior courses. By day, I'm a licensed therapist, so patient, warm energy, and being attuned to mood and behavior come naturally; skills that translate well to reading a nervous or excited dog. Today, I have my own dog, a remote private practice, and I'm working toward a certification in animal-assisted therapy, with a long-term dream of building a therapy farm where people can experience the same healing and joy that animals have given me my whole life. Whether your pup is laid-back or more energetic, I bring patient, warm energy, and genuine love for the work. I currently have my own remote private practice, and I make my own schedule for when I see clients. I mostly work Sundays and M-W afternoons/ evenings, but like I said, my schedule is pretty flexible. Dog walking could easily fit into almost time on any day of the week! I will care for your pets the same way I care for my own fur baby. She is family to me just like I know yours is to you. Their health and safety is my top priority at all times with fun and cuddles coming close behind in second place :)
About: Hi everyone. I am new to Rover as a sitter but I’ve taken care of different types of dog breeds for 5 years! Dogs are considered to be humans best friends and I treat them like they’re mine! I provide comfort and care and help each dog with anything they may need, ranging from love, to energy and any special need care the owner may have! I alter my care depending on each need to each individual dog! I am comfortable around all dogs. While also having a job as an engineer, I try to make time for my animals even if that means leaving work and coming home to make sure they have everything they need! I also have days off that need to be filled with more joy and more animals! With a lot of free time, I can make sure your fur baby is never alone and bored! I’m also new on rover as a sitter and I’m super excited to start meeting new pets! I have 2 mini golden doodle puppy one named Tobi and one named Rylee. They are as playful and energetic as they can be. I provide them with attention and energy anytime they need/ want and they control my whole world! This would be no different than taking care of your pets too! Every pet deserves love so I will provide that level of comfortability! I adapt to your pets as if they are my own.
About: I have had dogs for 20 years. I have had 3 smaller dogs in the past (14-25 pounds). 2 were pug/beagle mixes and 1 was a Boston terrier/beagle mix. I currently have a bigger dog (83 pounds) who is a German Shepard/Australian Shepard/Rottweiler mix. I also had a cat growing up for 8 years. I love to spend time with animals going on walks, playing with them and making sure they are well taken care of. I have experience with puppies, adolescent and senior dogs. I can’t wait to meet your pet and be there to help whenever you need! I’m currently a stay at home mom and am at home most days. I have 2 school aged children and I have flexibility and availability in my daily schedule. I am open to helping out with any and all needs for your pet. I can come to your home and care for your pet based on what you specify your pet needs and your preference's. He absolutely loves Brittany and she goes above and beyond for him constantly. She is experienced with shepherds, reactive dogs, and high energy breeds and I feel very comfortable having her care for my dog. She always goes the extra mile by giving him fresh water, working on training with him to support what I’m working on with him, and is firm but loving with him. She handles him so well and he absolutely adores her. I can’t recommend her enough! Brittany has been walking my dog for months, is consistently reliable, has great availability, and excellent communication. She is so trustworthy and a pleasure to work with!”

About: I volunteered at a vet clinic for a summer when i was 13. Ive been a dog groomer for 2 years as well! So ive worked with all size dogs with different needs and temperaments! I also had an ESA husky in college that lived on campus with me. As she got older she had specific needs. (medication everyday, prescription food, i had to help her up and down stairs, help her on walks and hold her up to use the bathroom, among plenty of other needs) She helped me become who i am now. Each pet that is in my care, is taken care of and protected like my own. My husky Nala is the reason I got into working with animals. Before her, my entire life I loved them. I can work with any temperament. I have a very unique but also flexible schedule!! The days that are shown available are days I can 95% of the time always do! Days shown unavailable (if needed by a good customer) i can work it into my schedule privately via message/text. these days i also go to the gym so there is gap period im unable to but it changes per day. Im always willing to talk about availability and scheduling! I will always do my best for accommodating times Creating a welcoming personality for any dog needed when entering their home/territory! Every dog is different and needs a different approach. Details are the most important to make sure your fur baby is comfortable.

“We had a great experience using Mark for Dog Boarding! This was new for us as it was our first time away from our puppy Ralphie. We scheduled a "meet and greet" with Mark and his family.
