“This is our second time with Julie caring for our cat Pixie and will not be our last. She is prompt about getting to our house to feed Pixie and does not simply feed her and rush out the door when she is done. Pixie is an extreme affection sponge and we love that Julie sticks around and cuddles with our little one while we are away. I always feel so guilty when we are gone for more than a day, but knowing Julie is going to be sitting with Pixie and giving her the attention she craves really helps me relax. Julie is also so sweet with Pixie. Pix has a habit of getting under foot and can be very chatty. Julie has the patience of a saint navigating the one cat obstacle course to get through our kitchen while prepping her meals. We are thrilled to have come across Julie on Rover and already have discussed with her our next booking, which will be sudden and unpredictable as we go into the hospital to have our first child. She is so open to when we said "yeah, it will be sometime between this date and this date and could be 2-5 days long and will be a very last second booking". Not only did she respond immediately, but she told us no problem, she will be around and to let her know. Shes the best and we so highly recommend her to take care of the fur babies!”

About: I've had dogs my whole life. They're such a big part of me and I absolutely love meeting them. I'll follow any specifacation you may have for your dog. I love taking walks and playing with them. I will also feed additional pets that you may have or clean yards if needed. I am currently in college in the afternoon for an few hours on monday through thursday. I can stay at the owner's house if needed. However, I can also do visits to feed and let out if that is more comfortable for the owner. I often like to go on walk with dogs I am taking care of, they are always on the leash on these walks. I also enjoy going out in the yard to play with them. I am not opposed to crates.

About: I have always loved dogs. I have one dog at the moment and dog sitting fulfills my need for a second dog. I recently lost my first dog, Peekaboo the Cockapoo, and have been heart broken ever since. I do have an amazing dog Moose (3y/o 40# all American brown dog mix) and I don’t want her to ever feel lonely so hosting dogs or going to walk other dogs has been a great way for her to get personalized one on one attention! I love my dogs so much they bring me so much joy we love to take walks around my beautiful neighborhood 3 to 4 times a day we have space to play and beds to lay on and take naps in the sun, we look forward to getting the chance to meet you all soon ! I work full-time from home with a digital marketing career. I am able to monitor my animals all day. Every day we go for 3 to 4 walks around my mile and a quarter neighborhood block. I typically know that if an animal is out of sight, then they must be getting into some thing so if I see that they don’t want to be near me, we go for a walk I’m always available for a pet or a cuddle in between my business calls. About: I started my career as an animal rescuer and dog trainer, I am very personable when it comes to taking care of animals. I have taken care of range of animals, from newborns to full grown, from past 15 years and I believe that there’s nothing more rewarding than their love. I also prepare home-made organic food and treats for dogs and cats which are loved by them and appreciated by their parents. I have an expertise with animal behavior and nutrition as well. I like to give dogs a pee break every 3-4 hours. Walking, feeding, exercise and lot of cuddles will be given all throughout the day. At our house, all the dogs are treated as if they are my own babies. Treats are given as permitted by parents. I have spare new blankets and toys for all dogs, unless you bring/prefer your own. Please feel free to ask for anything that’s not mentioned. (shower and grooming can be provided at extra cost) When boarding dogs at my home they will have space to roam around in the house (wooden floor) and I can take them for long/short walks as needed/recommended. I always walk dogs on leash and the duration of walk will be set by the pet parents. I love spoiling my fur guests with toys (with permission). When boarding your pet overnight, I encourage sending them with a blanket with your scent as it makes the separation easy on your fur babies. The environment in my house is nothing but love and we are soft spoken people so there’s no loud noise in the house ever. The surrounding area is very safe and very nature oriented. We have sidewalks which are well maintained year round. And since it’s a gated community, you can feel the ease with your pet security. I have taken care of over five dozen dogs and every dog loved our place. Most even feel sad when they leave.

I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs, and caring for animals has always been a huge part of my life. I have two dogs of my own, a yellow 8 year old lab named Odin and Ari, my sassy 4 year old husky shepherd. I’ve also fostered an 8 month old husky named Nala, so I’m comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’m familiar with medication administration, special needs, and senior care, and I genuinely love creating a calm, safe space for your pet to feel seen, comfortable, and cared for. I’m comfortable dispensing oral medications and injections, and I previously worked as a pharmacy technician for eight years, where I prepared IV drips and administered vaccines. Rabbit Care 🐇 In addition to dogs and cats, I also offer care for rabbits and understand the importance of gentle handling, consistent routines, and a calm environment. Rabbit care can be booked under “cat”. I live close by, and i'm available on holidays, weekends, evenings, and early mornings during the week with a twenty four hour notice. I’m also available for emergency drop ins during the week on Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday evenings, and anytime on the weekend. Since I already balance caring for my own dogs with work and school, welcoming your pet into that rhythm is something I’m very comfortable with. I don’t offer pet boarding with the exception of turtles, but I’m always happy to care for your pets in their own home where they’re most comfortable. About: I have been living with dogs for my entire life and, since moving to Connecticut 6 months ago, I have been missing these furry friends! I have had the pleasure of working with 2 older dogs who had various age-related health conditions until the end of their lives and, in the last 4 years, have been able to raise and train 2 (very playful and mischievous) puppies. I work 9-5 in North Haven, CT and am available for early morning care and anytime after 6 pm during the work week. I am usually free all weekend and enjoy going on early morning walks and hikes! About: I volunteered at a vet clinic for a summer when i was 13. Ive been a dog groomer for 2 years as well! So ive worked with all size dogs with different needs and temperaments! I also had an ESA husky in college that lived on campus with me. As she got older she had specific needs. (medication everyday, prescription food, i had to help her up and down stairs, help her on walks and hold her up to use the bathroom, among plenty of other needs) She helped me become who i am now. About: I have grown up around animals and have had both dogs and cats my whole life, as well as various types of small animals. I spent the last year working as an attendant at a Dog Daycare and Boarding center where I learned a lot more about caring for dogs in addition to my previous dog sitting experience. I have experience working with and handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, specifically large dogs with lots of energy. I have a lot of patience for dogs who get anxious while their families are away and can help them feel as comfortable as possible. I rode horses for 10 years and For several years I worked leading pony rides and handling farm animals for a traveling petting zoo which has given me a well rounded understanding for taking care of animals in general. I am a college graduate and in college I would often take care of my friend’s animals when they were in class or away. At the moment I only have a cat and would love to get to spend more time with dogs again. I work in theatre as a prop and paint artist and a lot of jobs in the field are for a couple weeks at a time and are not always the most consistent. I have full availability on the weekends and have a very flexible schedule during the week, specifically in the morning and evenings but also can likely do mid day. I have helped my sister train her dog and can help continue any training and/or rules you have for your dog while walking and taking care of them. I can keep a close eye on them if they are likely to get into trouble or things they’re not supposed to. I will give your pets lot of love and attention while you’re away. I can also play with your dogs and help get their energy out during the day. My dog is very playful and I often have to run around with him in the yard and play with him in the house to help him calm down.

He absolutely loves Brittany and she goes above and beyond for him constantly. She is experienced with shepherds, reactive dogs, and high energy breeds and I feel very comfortable having her care for my dog. She always goes the extra mile by giving him fresh water, working on training with him to support what I’m working on with him, and is firm but loving with him. She handles him so well and he absolutely adores her. I can’t recommend her enough! Brittany has been walking my dog for months, is consistently reliable, has great availability, and excellent communication. She is so trustworthy and a pleasure to work with!”
