“Katie & the Cats 🎵 she has been the most incredible step mom for my 5 babies while we were gone. She took care of everything we asked and more, was so thoughtful introducing herself to each baby, and got great pictures each day. I felt the most at peace I ever have leaving for a week and I’m planning on booking with her again already. Tell yo kids, tell yo wife, tell everybody Katie is the BEST!”

“Chase is the absolute best ever! He takes such good care of my baby girl. He loves her like his own. He takes time to walk her and play with her each time he comes over. She gets so excited when he walks in. I highly recommend Chase to take care of your pets❣️❤️❤️❤️”

About: I am a dog mom to my 4 year old Lulu (black lab/bull dog mix). I also had a Great Dane and she was a big, gentle girl. I am reliable, a great communicator and will love your dogs like my own. I just moved to Rock Hill from Iowa and used Rover myself for my dog. I work full time from home. I have nights and weekends free so if you need me to take your dog(s) for a walk, coming over a couple times a day to let them out or pet sitting over night, accommodating your pets needs won’t be a problem. I will care for your fur babies as if they were my own. Keeping their regular routine and clear communication with the pet parents. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dogs.
“Kaylee checked on my kitties and they seemed to take to her well - they’ll often hide when people they don’t know are at the house, but they came out and said hi the first visit! Kaylee completed all requested tasks and spent time playing with them. Will book again 🙂”

About: Love dogs? I'm OBSESSED with dogs! Every since I can remember, I've always had a furbaby. I started working at a dog daycare about 5 years ago and gained so many fur nieces and nephews. My availability just opened up a lot more so my whole week is open for daily visits, boarding and dog walks. I'm here for all your pet needs! About: I have had animals all my life, dogs, cats, rodents, and birds. I'm experienced with younger and older animals as well as giving medicines and other. I'm currently a college student and don't work so I have plenty of time to play with pups / kitties and come by for feedings and other. When pet sitting I typically will go by 2 to 3 times a day for feeding and play. I'm always careful around animals especially when they don't know me, I know some can take some time to warm up! “Excellent! Communication was great, and I always felt confident that my dogs were getting the attention and care they needed. He went above and beyond by even fixing my door handle while I was away. I came home to happy dogs. I highly recommend him and will definitely book with him again!”

“Christina is absolutely wonderful and I cannot recommend her highly enough! From the very start, she was prompt, professional, and clearly passionate about what she does. It was obvious she treated them like her own. What really stood out was how communicative she was throughout the entire time. Regular updates and quick responses. It gave me such peace of mind. When I had to make a last-minute change to our plans, Christina adapted effortlessly without missing a beat. She was so accommodating and made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless.”

Kalie was the best sitter I’ve had. She spent at hour or more interacting with my animals at every visit, won over both indoor cats! She let my hens out daily, showed up at our agreed times and sent plenty of pictures for my piece of mind. Everyone was happy when I came home. I won’t use anyone else!

Lyndsey was amazing! One of our girls is older and hard of hearing, and the other is younger and super energetic. Lyndsey did a fantastic job of balancing both and meeting their individual needs simultaneously. She took time to play with our energetic one and gave our older one extra pets. :) Her daily summaries and photos kept us in the loop and left us confident of their care while we were away. We will definitely look for Lyndsey again in the future when we need a sitter again!

Aspen and Nathan did such a great job taking care of my dog and cat while we were out of town! They provided great updates and lots of pictures that let me know both animals were very happy and comfortable with them and put my mind at ease. We also had to change some of our plans due to the winter storm and they were so flexible and accommodating. We would definitely book with them again!

Chelsea really goes above and beyond in her care for animals. While we were out of town our kitty had a great time playing with Chelsea as he always does. When our kitty didn’t come out to play one day Chelsea switched things up had him on the floor with belly rubs the next day. I can’t express how grateful we are to have found Chelsea!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
