“Mamie was a great sitter and I will rebook with her next time we are in need of someone to watch our pets. She checked in at least twice each day with updates and photos, took our dog for daily walks, and gave our pets the care they needed while we were away. I would recommend booking with Mamie to care for your pets.”

“Chelsea took care of our dog and two cats recently and did an amazing job. She really goes above and beyond and I will definitely ask Chelsea to help out again. Our animals have unique needs and Chelsea was able to do it all, the animals also had a great time with her!”

“Katelyn has been a reliable and dependable sitter for our dog for some time now. She keeps us updated on him while we are away and the house is perfect when we return.”

“Good communication, kind, considerate. She went above and beyond to make sure my "non-traditional" pets also had water in addition to my cat. She was respectful of my house, and I will be requesting her services again in the future!”

“I had a wonderful experience! I particularly like that I received so many pictures. They went above and beyond and truly loved my dogs like my own. One of my dogs is anxious and they knew exactly how to handle that. I was able to not worry on vacation because of the care I received.”

“Gabrielle took great care of our cats and was in constant communication with us about how they were doing, including cleaning up a plant that one had knocked over. She also sent lots of pictures which was appreciated.”

“I was so impressed with Audrey's flexibility, and relaxed attitude while taking such good care of Marco and Mia in my home. When something came up that needed special attention, she was on the solution quickly, which I appreciated immensely. I willdefinitely ask her to care for M&M again.”

“Kristen was great! She took care of my pup through some rough storms and helped keep her calm. Communicated with some cute pics as well. Also took the trash out when she was done with house sitting which she didn’t need to do! Would definitely recommend her :)”
“Sara was a life saver for us. We were so nervous to leave our elderly dog for a few days and we were so fortunate to find Sara! She was so perfect for Baloo during the house sit. We would book her again!”
“Responsible, kind, conscientious, and thorough! Jeremy took wonderful care of our dog, 3 cats, and bunny with overnight stays while our family vacationed at the beach. I knew he was going to be the perfect fit for us at the meet and greet, he asked detailed and thoughtful questions about each pet, seemed genuinely interested in getting to know them, and requested that we leave care instructions for each. Jeremy’s communication was top notch- he sent regular updates and photos of the pets. Also, during his stay, there were extreme heat conditions and he worked with me on a plan to keep the bunny cool by moving him downstairs -it was a lot of work and he was quick and efficient and even put the bunny back in his original location when the temps returned to normal. We are so happy to have found a reliable pet sitter we can trust and will certainly be booking him again for future trips.”

“Hannah is responsive and communicated well. She was available on short notice and was able to do a meet and greet prior to watching the gals this weekend. She sent pictures and updates and left the house as she found it.”

About: For 10+ years, I’ve pet sat for family, friends, and neighbors. Growing up with rescue pets, I have experience caring for anxious and distracted dogs. I also have experience caring for puppies and senior dogs with disabilities. I have a love for all animals, and can ensure great care, attention, and love will be given to your pet!! I’m currently working remote 4 days a week, with Monday as my typical day in office, although the day is subject to change per week. When working from home or on the weekends, I can let the dog out frequently, walk the dog everyday, play multiple times outside, pet and brush when inside, and give lots of attention to. I’m available to pet sit on my day in office as well, but the dog would not be let out between the hours of 7am-4:30 pm. When I pet sit, the dog is typically within my sight at all times. When at the house, the dog will be taken out hourly and played with frequently throughout the day. The water bowl will be refilled at least twice a day when food is given, or more if needed. Little objects or any choking hazards will be out reach for the dog, as well as food and other dangers. Walks will be given daily if the weather permits, as well as constant pets. Your dog will receive a lot of love with me!!
“Sarah stayed with Casper for several days while we were on a trip. She took great care of him! He clearly had a great time and she made sure he got his medication. She communicated really well and also took great care of the house.”

“Mariah was excellent!!! I would give her more than 5 stars if I could. She was wondering with my dog's including my over peeing new puppy and even did some dishes and tidying up around my place. I would recommend her to anyone with animals that need care!”

“We booked Bri to watch our 6 year old doodle for the weekend while staying in the house overnight. She did an amazing job and far exceeded our expectations. We could tell Cooper had a good time and really got along with Bri. She sent us updates in the morning, day, night with lots of pictures and details. She not only left our house in good order once leaving, but also cleaned the house. We will for sure be booking Bri in the future and I would not hesitate to recommend her to anyone.”

About: I’ve learned and taken on responsibilities caring for animals, specifically dogs, at a young age. Nacho, my past rescue dog, lived to be about 15 years of age. He needed quite a lot of care in his old age, including joint supplements, pimobendan for his heart, and other treatments. I currently have two cats named Kirby and Sam. I would love to have a dog, but my living situation doesn’t allow currently for the quality of life they deserve. I work full-time as an aesthetician, but with some days off, so if you need a day or a time that you don’t see we may be able to work something out:) I ensure a clean environment with no hazardous materials around, ample enrichment, and all the love humanly possible. Full of healthy food and treats obviously🤪

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Robinson Township
Rylee was absolutely amazing! She stayed in our home while caring for our Frenchie and Chihuahua, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She made sure our Frenchie received all of his medication on schedule, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. She sent us lots of pictures and updates throughout our trip, which made us feel connected and reassured that our pups were happy, loved, and well cared for. It was obvious she treated them like they were her own. We came home to two happy dogs and a well-cared-for home. Rylee is reliable, kind, communicative, and truly goes above and beyond. We would absolutely trust her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional pet sitter!

Hannah did a fantastic job taking care of our Boston Terrier and our house (and plants!) while we were gone for two weeks. She kept us informed everyday. He gets very anxious on walks, but she even got him out for a couple walks and gave us some tips on how to make walks more enjoyable for him. We would definitely recommend Hannah!

Mackenzie watched our two dogs from 12/29-1/4. We have nothing but positive feedback. She stayed in our home and kept everything in order and our new puppy Penny is only 4 months old and I did not feel that I needed to worry about anything while on vacation. We loved seeing all of the pictures that were sent to us and would highly recommend d Makenzie for all dog sitting needs.

Shawnee was so wonderful with our dog Benny. He is an older dog with separation anxiety so we always feel a little nervous leaving him but Shawnee’s excellent communication, kindness and professionalism put us at ease. She followed all of our care instructions and took the time to get to know and meet his needs. I especially appreciated the photos and updates she sent throughout the stay—I could tell he warmed up to her and did well while we were away. We will definitely be using her again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Robinson Township walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Robinson Township maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Robinson Township choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 91% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
