Animals are my passion and I’ve always been able to connect with them easily. I feel they deserve the same love and protection that our two-legged family members receive. I’ve been volunteering and employed with animal groups since I was 15. I’ve studied animals enough to know that each of them need different levels of energy, care and patience. My trainings are in pet CPR and first aid as well as having connections with several local vet offices. Your fur baby will be safe with me and I look forward to expanding my list of furry pack members ! Mylissa was again a wonderful dog walker/sitter! She always takes great care of our 3 girls. Takes lots of wonderful pictures/videos which is really nice when your away and missing your fur babies 😀 Will definitely book with her again!
My goldendoodle had a wonderful week-long stay with Mylissa. My dog is a good dog, but can be emotionally needy and can be aggressive with other dogs for human attention. Mylissa has a calmness that made my dog immediately feel at home. Although there were about 4-5 dogs in her home, they all played together and were chill, including mine. Mylissa has dog-whisperer-like skills, and is obviously doing what she loves. I would highly recommend her!

I work from home full time on my own schedule. My availability is very flexible so I am almost always available and ready to meet a new pet !

I have a one floor home hardwood flooring so accidents are fine ! I am familiar with administering medication, CPR and first aid if ever needed. My home is a loving place made for lots of comfort, multiple doggie beds in each room and my couches welcome furry cuddles at all times.

A typical day
When I watch someone’s pet I know that they mean the world to them, they are family. Each animal that stays with me is also treated like my family because they normally end up becoming that anyway ! I am incredibly grateful for all the amazing pets and parents that I have met through the years that I now get to celebrate birthdays, holidays and life with. I am an extremely empathetic person and I know exactly what I think about when leaving my furry family with a sitter, so I make sure to reassure each parent in the same ways I need when away from them. Whatever you need to put your mind at ease, I’m here to help. I’ll call or FaceTime you before we meet, give you a tour of my home and fenced yard so you know exactly what environment your baby will be living in. I send probly wayy too many photos and videos, and I am here to answer your FaceTime calls whenever you want to connect with your pet! I also have a close Veterinarian friend on call that has become family as well. I spend most of the day between play and cuddle time. I love to be outside. I have multiple frisbees, tennis balls, doggie (kiddie) pools and games to play. My corgi loves to play hide and seek with me daily. I tell him to sit and stay and I go hide, once I yell “come find me!” he comes running and searching. It really helps stimulate their minds. Sometimes I hide treats in little Easter eggs and hide them too so the pups can go sniffing and searching. I’m basically here to give your pup an abundance of love and play to distract them from missing you so much!
