“Anais was very communicative - she sent lots of pictures. She kept the place clean and was respectful. I would book her again. She was accommodating with special needs of my dog.”

“Taryn is an incredible human. It’s so nice to be able to leave town and feel completely comfortable leaving your fur babies in such amazing care. She’s punctual, reliable, has fantastic communication and just goes above and beyond treating your pets like her own. One of a kind! ♥️”

“I had the pleasure of hiring Patrick W to care for my beloved furry friends, Ray-Ray and Wyatt l, and couldn’t be more thrilled with the experience. From the moment we met, it was clear that Patrick has a genuine love for animals. He immediately connected with my boys, making me feel at ease leaving my dogs in his capable hands. Throughout the duration of the dog house sitting service, my dogs were well cared for and Patrick generally stuck to the feeding and walking schedule I provided, and I received regular updates and photos, which brought me comfort during my time away. Patrick genuinely cared and took the time to play with the dogs and give them the attention they need, ensuring they received plenty of exercise and affection. If you’re in need of a trustworthy, dedicated, and caring dog sitter, I highly recommend Patrick W. He exceeded my expectations and I will be reaching out to him for future pet-sitting needs. Thank you, Patrick, for being such a wonderful caregiver to my four-legged family members!”

“Alexa did a wonderful job taking care of our dog in our home over a long holiday weekend. She was communicative, made sure Beau got his walks and play time, left our home clean and our dog happy. She followed our instructions on everything and asked questions when she wasn’t sure about something. We hope our dog wasn’t too crazy for her, but we would gladly welcome her back! So grateful we found Alexa.”

“Very happy with Daniela as a pet/house sitter while we were overseas for 2-weeks. We don’t speak a common language, but my pets don’t speak English or Spanish either, so I wasn’t gonna let a language barrier be the sole reason to not hire someone. We used an audio translator app during the meet & greet, and most apps/ txt auto translate. I did provide an emergency contact of a bi-lingual friend. Thankfully we didn’t need to involve her. At the meet & greet, we practice giving my anxious cat’s oral tablet medication with dry kibble, and she was pretty good at it within a couple tries. Reassured me she would be able to administer when we’re gone. She sent regular photos/updates of our pets which always makes us happy and comfortable while traveling. We even had some HVAC issues while we were away, and Daniela was a trooper the whole time. Twice she helped coordinate a technician coming to the house since we couldn’t be there. She left the house very clean, trash taken out, bed made. Brought all our mail in. Watered the few plants we asked. Etc. I hope she’s available next time we travel. Thank you!”

“My Dog Dottie loved Ava! Dottie has tons of energy and Ava spoiled her with long walks and lots of dog park trips. I felt so relieved that my pup was in great hands. Ava sent lots of pictures and updates and left the house nicer than she found it. The best! Already booking her again”

“Rob watched our two pets on a long weekend and was great. We love a lot of communication - and he kept us posted and sent us many pictures. Very professional and our pets loved him. We would definitely recommend!”

“Travis is a fantastic pet sitter. He watched my puppy, my bigger, older dog, and my cat while I was in Detroit for a weekend getaway. This is my second time using Rover as my first time did not go well and now I usually am too afraid to trust anyone else with my animals. I was kept updated (but not too much) and I can tell by their mannerisms that they were well cared for. I am planning on using Travis’s services again later this summer when I’ll be gone for ten days. He is a kind, empathetic, and considerate pet sitter.”

About: I have owned one dog after the other since I was 6 years of age, with my current 2nd dog who’s a boxer. My dog is a very rambunctious type who I can’t get enough of. I am available to work full time however will be working as a door dasher as well. So when I’m house sitting or coming for visits staying for a prolonged amount of time isn’t ideal but I will accept an increased price if necessary. Every morning I take my dog out for a walk followed by a bowl of food. I’m very familiar with wet and dry food, as well as medication taken via orally. My pup is also an aged fella, so any experience with older dogs having trouble getting up and down the stairs I can handle as well.

About: I was always had furry siblings but have graduated to a cat mama. I enjoy creating personal heavens for our companions. Reliable, punctual and kind. I have a full-time job that pays the bills but I am looking for ways to feed my soul. Overnights are great as well as drop ins. I would prefer to host at client's homes as my current home does not allow dogs. Willing to board or take cats overnight. Let's make it a sleepover!

“Tori was amazing with my high-energy dog! She spent a ton of time with my dog and took her to the dog park many times to burn her energy which my dog loved. She was also very thoughtful and sent lots of pictures and videos while we were away for 2 weeks and was very responsive the whole time. She was very accommodating and I would highly recommend her! Will definitely be using her again in the future.”

About: Dogs gravitate me & vice versa I have loved and cared for two Wheaton Terriers for a total of 18 years and don’t plan on stopping One day at a time, one week at a time I can adapt to any schedule. I like to stay busy so I am capable of juggling several jobs. I will earn your trust quickly The dogs will like me right away because I am playful. I will keep them active & occupied to make sure they are healthy and happy.

About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is that I’ve been surrounded by animals since I was a child. I’ve cared for and loved my dog Maya for 5 years and my cat Sombra for 7 years. I also have turtles, and in the past I’ve had parrots and chickens. For me, this is not just a job — it’s a passion that has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Pet care is naturally part of my daily routine because I’ve always lived with animals. I make sure they have fresh food and water every day, give them time for walks or play, and check on their well-being. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time to cleaning their spaces, grooming if needed, and making sure they feel loved and safe. Unfortunately, my pets are currently in Honduras, but in the future we’ll be reunited. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow the owner’s instructions carefully to maintain their routine and make them feel comfortable. I provide fresh food and water, daily exercise or playtime, regular check-ins, and lots of affection. I also keep their space clean and safe, and give them extra attention to reduce stress while their owners are away. My goal is to make pets feel as loved and cared for as they do when their family is home.

About: I’ve had pets my whole life ranging from fish, amphibians, rodents, birds, cats, and dogs. I love connecting with animals and giving them all the love they deserve! I also am a former vet assistant (I now work at a vet lab) so I have experience with pets of all ages, temperaments, and health statuses. My priority is the pets’ safety and comfort, and will work with them to ensure we have a foundation of trust. I also can work enrichment into my visits to get their minds more stimulated or just give them a 15 minute belly rub if that’s more up their alley. I’ve also trained many of my pets so I can help introduce basic commands to puppies or reinforce commands and manners from older pets. I’m available pretty much every day for the summer. Once mid-August comes around, I’ll be available Sunday-Tuesday at all times and Wednesday-Saturday from 9-11 AM I can come in let the pets out, clean up messes from them, feed/water, play enrichment games or work on training, and give them lots of love!

About: I've taken care of dogs of since I was 10. I grew up around dogs all my life .Neighbors, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I'm currently off work for a few months ,so I'll have plenty of time to play with your pups! I'm available for boarding on weekends, and weekdays after 2pm. Anything before don’t be scared to ask ! I can always fit the fur babbies in. I have a fenced yard and one shihpoo to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed as well !

Riverdale pet parents share their Rover experiences
Vera was so great with our boys! We have two 60lb Australian cattle dog brothers who can sometimes be a handful on walks and she was able to walk them together, no problem. There was a 7 hour time difference while we were away but she stayed on top of communication and made us feel really comfortable with being away! We would absolutely recommend her and would use her again in the future!
