“A last minute change to my plans had me in a panic and I came to Rover. It was a last minute request, with only a day notice and we needed someone to care for a new puppy (8 weeks old) and my senior mastiff, who is quite depressed when Mom leaves him. Claudia met with us for a same day meet and greet and she was ready to stay for the weekend to house sit, and care for my animals. I am a bit of a worrier about my dogs and have never left over night without them. Claudia came in and made me feel comfortable enough to hire her on the spot! I received updates so often on my dogs, and once I saw Meatball eating, I wasn’t worried at all (he doesn’t eat when i’m not home). It was a pleasure working with her, and now that I found her, I will feel more comfortable leaving my pups. She was professional, pleasant, and trustworthy! 10/10 recommend and will be rebooking! About: When it comes to pet care, I am an expert! I had worked as an AKC certified dog trainer for a little over a year, specializing in basic obedience training. I then moved on to P.A.W.S. of Tinely Park, a no-kill animal shelter. There I took care of 40+ dogs a day and, when I had the time, would also help out with the cats. I had been there over two years. Then I moved on to vet med as a vet assistant for cat/dog med but also worked in specialized exotics med for over 3 years. I feel this shows that I do well with animals that tend to be nervous, anxious, skidish, and fearful. I pride myself on knowing how to pick up on how your pet is feeling and adjusting my interactions accordingly. It might be worth mentioning that I have worked with dogs of all stress and anxiety levels in the past but have never once been injured. Proper handling is very important to me. Not only am I experienced with cats and dogs, but I have kept and worked with exotics as well! Such as small mammals (like: rabbits, chinchillas, mice, rats, hamsters, Guinea pigs, hedgehogs, etc.), birds, reptiles of both non venomous snake and lizard varieties, certain amphibians, tarantulas, and fresh water fish! So pets of all kind I am very open to. I also feel I should add that I have been using this app for a few years now and seem to have built up a great reputation for myself. Fenced yards are a plus but I have taken care of dogs that have alternative styles of containment. I keep a watchful eye regardless of situation. About: My mothers has had multiple dogs for as long as I can remember. I love caring for animals in all situations. I’ve taken care of teeny tiny babies and huge old dogs as well. From super hyper- to the laziest of dogs. I am working part time mornings only and I have plenty of time to help you look after your babies. I’m home a majority of the time so this will be no problem. Plus I have my own fur baby that I’m taking care of anyway. I have a huge backyard that my dog loves to run around in( fenced of course). I also have a crate that I don’t use any longer but I can pull it out of storage if need be.

He has medication that has to be taken and she ensured he didn’t miss a dose. She would send me random pictures of him, which I loved to receive since I missed him!
