After having some bad experiences with past sitters and boarding, I was starting to settle for having the Vet Kennel them while I was away. I love my dogs and sometimes I want people to love them the way I do, and she DEFINATLEY does! Lorraine is a natural care giver and has a great calm demeanor. They took to her right away, even my rescue who is very shy and is afraid of the washing machine. Lorraine is very attentive to both of them and their separate needs, sent pictures to me the whole time I was away and I never had to ask. They always look happy and comfortable, able to hang out on her back deck which they LOVE. Outside time is their favorite!! She did walks with them, too! About: Having my own dog, I know first hand that dogs are precious family members who need a lot of love and care and, and each dog had different needs. I have had my own dog for 3 years and previously cared for many of my friends’ and relatives’ dogs. I have training experience having gone through classes with my own dog. I am excited to meet new dogs and make sure they are happy and healthy while in my care! I currently work from home and I can be flexible throughout the day Mon-Thurs , but evenings or early mornings work best for me. I can also be flexible on Fridays and weekends. “I truly can’t say enough about how wonderfully Martina cared for our dog, Lola. Lola is an anxious girl with her own quirks, so I’m always nervous about how she’ll adjust to someone new, but Martina was exceptional. She sent frequent photos and updates throughout Lola’s stay, which helped us feel at ease. Unfortunately, Lola had an accident on Martina’s rug, and while I was mortified as a pet parent, Martina handled it with such kindness and understanding. She was more concerned about Lola’s upset stomach than the mess, and her compassion meant so much. Most importantly, Lola looked genuinely happy, relaxed, and comfortable the entire time, and she came home healthy and content. We couldn’t have asked for better care.
