While I’ve never owned a dog of my own, I’ve had hands-on experience helping care for my roommate’s chihuahua, Juju, throughout college. I co-parented her while my roommate balanced a busy school and work schedule. In addition, I volunteered at Safe Haven Animal Shelter just outside of Lubbock during my time at Texas Tech, where I earned my bachelor’s degree. About: We’ve always had dogs growing up, my husband’s dog passed in 2023; His name was Monster and he was a beautiful black lab. We miss him so much, so we decided to start taking care of people’s puppies while we don’t have one of our own at the moment. I work part time and my husband works from home, so there is usually someone at the house to keep an eye on your pup. 😊 We have a small backyard and your dog is welcome on our couches, chairs, and beds. We live near dog parks and love to go on walks.
