About: Hi, I'm Simone. Thanks for visiting my profile! I'm a photographer currently working on a project and living in Joshua Tree. I adore animals more than anything else. Lucky for me, animals seem to love me back, and I connect easily with most cats and dogs that I meet. My two kitties Bert and Ernesto were the loves of my life and I had 13 loving, goofy years with them. I miss them so much. I'm not ready to have any animals of my own, which is why I would be delighted to spend time with and care for your animal/s. In the last year of his life, one of my cats was sick and he required extensive nursing at home. I gave him daily meds including liquids and pills, and I administered fluids via subcutaneous injections for several months. I believe in maintaining a clean environment for animals so that they feel the highest level of comfort possible in their world. I know that cats need exercise, and I prioritize play if they are interested in engaging. I know how stressful it is to travel and leave animals at home. I am highly reliable and trustworthy, and your furry friends are my number one priority. I also love dogs and have walked many dogs for family and friends, however never having one as a pet, I don't prioritize dog care in my profile. I work independently as a photographer, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to structure my day around caring for animals. Whether it’s a drop-in or staying overnight, I’m able to give your cat my full attention. When caring for cats in a client’s home, I aim to maintain a clean, calm, and safe environment that keeps your cat comfortable and secure. I’m careful with doors, windows, and potential escape routes, and I always check for hiding spots to make sure everyone is accounted for. I respect your home as if it were my own, follow your care instructions closely, and make sure your cat’s routine stays consistent. I’m also happy to provide updates, photos, or notes if that helps you feel more at ease while you’re away.

“Riley was great with our two 80 pound bulldogs every morning when he showed up, they were so happy to see him. I will definitely be using him again.”

About: I have experience caring for dogs and cats, both young and old. I have lovingly cared for dogs with blindness, diabetes and thrombocytopenia, and my last personal cat who lived 19 beautiful years. I have two dogs at home that I walk daily. I am a licensed cosmetologist, a watercolor artist and an avid reader. I have flexible availability to care for your pets. I will care for your pet as if it were my own. I will follow all of your feeding and playtime rules and make sure you pet feels safe and comfortable.

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the incredible privilege of caring for a wide variety of pets. From a hamster, gerbil, guinea pig, and rabbit to ducks, four cats, and three amazing dogs, my home has always been full of furry (and feathered) friends. Two of my beloved dogs, Frank and Ginger, taught me the importance of patience and attentive care, as they both required daily medications—Frank for a heart condition and Ginger for allergies. It wasn’t always easy, especially with Ginger's picky eating habits, but with dedication, we made every day count. I’ve also spent countless hours volunteering at animal shelters, including walking dogs at SW Washington Humane Society and Joshua Tree No Kill Shelter, as well as working with cats at Homeward Pet Adoption Center. These experiences have deepened my passion for ensuring animals feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Currently, I’m a proud dog mom to Tanner, a two-year-old rescue from Desert Hot Springs. He’s been my loyal companion, road trip sidekick, and hiking partner since he was just seven months old. Tanner will join me on any overnight stays, and I’d be happy to arrange a meet and greet to ensure your pets and mine are comfortable together. In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m also certified in small animal massage from the Northwest School of Animal Massage, which I completed in February 2023. I’m excited to bring this holistic approach to pet care, ensuring your pets feel relaxed and nurtured during their time with me. I look forward to caring for your pets with the same love, dedication, and expertise I’ve given to my own. I am available for drop-in visits to care for your pets on most days. Whether you need someone to feed, walk, or simply spend time with your furry friends, I am here to help ensure they receive the love and attention they deserve while you are away. I am excited to share that I reside on a fully fenced 2-acre property in Landers, which provides an ideal environment for pets to run and explore. With ample space, it truly feels like an amusement park for dogs! The open layout features very few obstacles, allowing them to run freely and safely while always remaining within my line of sight. Additionally, the pets in my care will have open access to both residences located within the fenced area, ensuring they have a comfortable and secure environment. This setup not only promotes physical activity but also allows for plenty of social interaction and playtime, making it a perfect place for your furry family members to enjoy their time while you are away.

About: I’ve cared for dogs for the last 40 years—my own & others. I’m great with energetic dogs. Have also taken care of cats & birds & donkeys. I’m an author working on my second book, so my time is flexible. I have two dogs of my own but they don’t mind if I hang out with other animals. I have two dogs of my own—one from New York, the other a desert dog—so I understand the unique challenges of taking care of all types of dogs in this environment.

About: I am a certified dog trainer, working towards a special certification in behavior. I have experience caring for and training dogs of all ages and breeds. Caring for animals and training is what i do everyday, whether its for my own pets or helping educate families about theirs. I will try my best to accommodate your pets needs so they feel safe and comfortable. I have a fenced in yard and many ways for your dog to socialize as I have two dogs, cats, and plenty of friendly people and animals they can interact with.

About: At Dream Ranch the style of Dog/Cat Boarding is designed to provide your pet with a totally “enriched” boarding experience, which I accomplish by giving pets the things they need most: behavioral choices, exercise, socialization, and the absence of stress. Dogs/Cats prefer real homes and outdoor play yards over kennels or warehouses. By their very nature, they require socialization with other dogs/cats and with people, not solitary confinement. I am experienced and I segregate the dogs/cats according to size and temperament, and monitor each pack so that all dogs/cats are in a stress-free environment. I play, run, fetch, nap, cuddle, bark and talk during the day (including our fantastic water play yard), and they sleep slumber-party-style in our home with a bunch of new friends at night. And they are never locked up or left alone…that’s right, there are no cages here. (Unless you tell me otherwise, &/or your pet's daily routine involves crate/kennel training already) Sometimes life doesn’t allow for pet's. Fortunately for you, Dream Ranch always does! When you need a second home, book a stay for your pet(s) at Dream Ranch!! There’s No Place Like Home… And There’s No Place Like Dream Ranch For Your pet's When You’re Away! 24/7 hours a day, 365 days a year!

“Felice ALWAYS does a wonderful job. My dog Kiana loves going on walks with her. Felice is caring and reliable. Highly recommend her. I've used her services many tines.”

About: Ever since I was young I have always loved animals. I was working as a veterinary medical recepnist for a while to which I learned a lot about pet health. I would love to be the sitter you choose in the area :) I can cat/dog/reptile sit any day of the week. I rather go to your house and do pop bys than stay over night but terms can be negotiated. Would consider letting pets come to my place if friendly with other animals I check on animals typically every 3 hours and spend about ~ 30-40 minutes with them every time I stop by. As stated I worked at a 24hr veterinary hospital as reception, even thought I may not be a qualified nurse or doctor I do keep monitor of pets health and will notify owners if I have any concerns

“Elizabeth very kindly filled in last minute to walk my dog, Charlie. She is absolutely wonderful - highly responsive, great with the pup, and so kind. She even spent time training Charlie. I recommend her so highly to anyone looking for a pet sitter/walker!”

Thomas E.
“Tom stayed at my apartment in Long Beach early August while I was out-of-state. During our introductory video chat, he was warm and excited to learn more about the neighborhood and about Rosa Parks's needs. Thankfully, he didn't have to deal with a cat pan, as hers is self-cleaning, but he fed her wet food 2x a day and made she had dry food to nibble on throughout the day. Although, I didn't request updates, I greatly appreciated it when he sent a few pics of her favorite bag-of-the-moment. He has even asked about her since his stay!! She must know I'm thinking about the both of them because she just looked up from 232783 nap of the day to see what I'm up to.”

Angie T.
“Angie is a wonderful person who loves all animals. She is very knowledgeable and even knows about training. So of course she makes a awesome pet sitter who will look after any pet. She has always been very good with my dog Daisy and loves on her like she is her own. I highly recommend using Angie next time you need someone to help with your fur baby!”

Brooke S.
“Brooke has cared for our pets, both dogs & cats many times over the years. Our animals LOVE her, & recognize her car, running to greet her. I’ve never met anyone with more love for & control over animals. Our labs allowed her to trim their nails when we couldn’t get near them, & they obey her every command even though they are not trained! PI have witnessed a dog that was about to be given away because it was too wild, be transformed in a matter of 2-3 weeks into an obedient, well trained animal that Brooke could walk completely without a leash & would stay by her side, obeying her every command. Brooke does this with love, care & complete trust from any animal she’s around. She has a true gift from God with all creatures. Anyone would be extremely fortunate to have her as a sitter or walker for any length of time, & that goes double for the pets. Mrs. Marilyn Schrantz”
